Graphic Video Diary Shows Libyan Soldiers Shooting, Punching Rebels

Al Jazeera has obtained a video diary that was found on the body of a young Libyan soldier. The graphic footage provides a lens into the minds and battleground experiences of Libya’s government forces.

The footage shows Qaddafi’s soldiers entering Benghazi and shouting “Kill them all! Show them no mercy!” In other clips, soldiers are seen shooting and punching rebels. Watch a report from Al Jazeera, below:

    I guess I could try to find a little compassion here, but I just can’t. Sorry. Since this story broke, I’m pissed that Obama even has the United States even being a part of this. As soon as I hear about ONE American being killed there (for what casue I can’t even say…) I’ll be pissed off. We have no business in Libya.

    And now that OBL is dead, I’d like to see our people out of Afghanistan too. I care about as much for Afghanistan as they do for us. I have similar views on Iraq.

    As for Muammar Khadaffi’s soldiers (also rapists and pillagers) slugging it out with the Muslim Brotherhood/ Al Quaeda wanna-bes, I couldn’t care less. I see them all as potential enemies of America, and a threat to world peace in general.

    And let‘s not forget who’s a major force behind terrorism, funding and the supply of weapons for terrorists; Iran.

    The Middle East has always been a mess. Now thanks to Obama’s Arab Spring, and his sucking up to the UN, it’s one Hell of a bloody, Godforsaken mess. And they’re calling US Satan?

    There is only one small place in the entire Middle East where we have a friend. Israel. We need to stand together to defeat this unspeakable evil.

    I stand by Israel and always will.

    I am caught between the Devil and the deep blue see”. The “devil” being the Syrian Dictatorship or “the deep blue sea” of the unknown but in all reality a Theocracy with the full power to enforce each and every cruel act so carefully written down.
    The most terrible actions of torture and death were done in the name of the lord, thereby making the act and by inference the death of the victim, divine in nature, thereby propelling them to kill even more. Under such conditions of evil which one one must choose? The Dictator or the Mullah?

    The combatants should not expect that they will be treated kindly when they have been captured on the field of battle. This applies to the ‘rebels’ in Libya as well as the Palestinians.
    If you, the rebel assault your opponent and fail you cannot expect that you should receive kindly treatment so you can recover and one day attack again.
    Combatants on the field of battle must expect that they will likely be destroyed by their enemy if they fail to kill the enemy first.

    I hate to see people needlessly killed, but I am not so naive as to believe that America’s involvement is ever going to change that. Wether they are Muslim, Christian, Budist, or Hindu they have a right to resolve their conflicts the way they choose. It is their country. They have not crossed the borders of another nation. Why do American politicians feel that we need to be in the middle of everyone elses problems. This country is bankrupt! We can‘t afford to continue being the world’s police force. I think that Obama has no idea how to resolve America’s problems. Instead he diverts our attention to issues around the world, hoping that us ignorant, Christian, Americans will forget by the next elections what a terrible leader he is.

    I see no crime here. Bunch of tribes at war for power over the rest. When they finally split into 5 countries, we’ll have 5 more worthless Arab dictatorships in the POS fraud U.N. They’ll hate us as usual and only ever agree to raise oil prices, fund terrorists, take $$ from World Bank & IMF, sanction the US, and destroy Israel. The only thing wrong with the pictures is there aren’t more dead bodies, not because they’re Muslim etc, but because I’m an environmentalist ;)

    Having been to war I didnt see anything here that was very out of the ordinary, as far as war crimes go beating pow’s and shooting the one guy that is tied up are the only things to be seen ( and should be punished ) everything else is dead enemy with weapons or uniforms on. The dead soldiers in piles is pretty normal thats what you do when you clean them off the street or get a body count all in all this is a civil war we had one I say we let them have theres

    Funny how when the violence is muslim on muslim there is no outrage, even when hundred and thousands are killed by their own. But, when Israel fires on and reportedly kills a handful of muslims attempting storm the fences, the outrage is deafening.

    From a practical standpoint, it is good that bad people are killing each other. However, it isn’t just bad people getting killed and being affected by this. Children are being influenced by bad people and bad things and learn to act that way themselves. It would be better if these people would learn to value life and act civilized.

      I like the idea of terrorist killing each other, this is what they do. It would be better if they worked this out peacefully but they don’t. Islam is violent by nature, it is who they are. We should stay the hell out of it, this is a civil war and none of our business.
      The reason we are there is to involve us in yet another conflict, to drain our wealth and blood for nothing but to destroy OUR Country. BHO could give a rats ass who wins, he just wants Americans to die there for nothing. Whoever wins, Libya will still be an enemy of the US, and more so if we get involved. This is about destroying our military, not Freedom.
      We did not lift a finger in Sudan, Rwanda, Darfur, Liberia or the Ivory Coast, why? Muslims were killing every Christian they could find so why did we not step in to end it. BECAUSE it did not further the hatred of the US, it would be a good thing. Our government only seems to want to do the wrong thing.
      After George Clooney made a big deal about Darfur, that he really cared and wanted to raise money to do something. Executive Outcomes (a private military operation) told him they will put a stop to the killing in 7 to 10 days for good, only $30M. George has the money but did nothing but talk.
      Do you see now. George did not give a **** about Darfur, it just made him look cool talking about it. Obama does not give a **** about Libya, it just furthers his agenda to string out our military in another war.

    This is the reality of war. It is horrible.
    And that is a good thing, less we grow to like it.

    Something to think about, neither side in this war supports the United States or Israel.
    No matter who wins, they still want the “Great Satan” (USA) dead. So, I have little sympathy anyone in this war. The longer they fight each other, the longer is will be before they can attack us again.

      I’m gonna call B.S. on this one. Look closely at those pics again. I think they were staged. Battlefield casualties have blood everywhere and are badly maimed/disfigured. Almost all of those pics there is hardly any blood. You can’t see evidence of bullet wounds and there is next to zero disfigurement. Have you seen what a 155 can do to a man? An RPG? A grenade? No, those guys weren’t dead, that was propaganda.

      Not everyone that lives in the middle east is a terrorist just like not every Christian in the US is good. Funny again how a Muslim gets killed and it brings joy to the KKK-blaze members but if that happened to be a Jew, all the prayers and Obama hate would have come out.       You ignorant fool. Have you ever seen what a gunshot really looks like? Have you been hunting? The only hole on my last deer (shot with a .223) looked like it was stabbed with a pencil. There was very little blood. In fact, more blood came out of the mouth of the deer than out of the bullet wound. Blood is not the be all end all indicator of how badly a person is hurt. If that were the case, I would have died last week when my thumb was nearly cut off by a falling mirror. It bled profusely and ruined a towel but yet I live with no lasting injury. The injuries that are most often the fatal ones aren’t the ones where the damage is obvious, but rather, they are the ones where a person‘s inside are scrambled like eggs on a Sunday morning at a Denny’s restaraunt.

      I almost forgot. The reason that bullet wounds in American battlefield pictures are so much bloodier is because of our outstanding servicemen and women that we call doc or corpsman. These people keep the casualties alive, consequently meaning that their heart continues to pump blood through their open wounds. My guess is that someone who is executed and whose heart stops beating rather quickly wouldn’t be covered in as much blood.

      Lets see there are a dictator’s soldiers shooting and beating the rebels, then there are muslim terrorist rebels shooting and beating the soldiers. I think that there should be none of these actions by either side but they are trying to make it look worse for the soldiers so that the obama led forces can oust the dictator and put into leadership the muslim terrorists. I would say that just about covers it.

      “ignorant fool”? really? Yes I know what a bullet wound looks like. I know what one looks like on a deer and on a person. I also realize that most battlefield deaths are not due to single rifle shots placed by well trained hunters.

      Having seen Iraqi casualties in D.S. they were blown to pieces, burned and disfigured. Most didn’t die from single gunshots but rather through field artillery, bombing, HE tank rounds, etc. Furthermore, even ones who were fallen via small arms fire, most had significant bleeding and more than one hole. If we are to believe that all of those people were executed were then not shot in the head? I saw no blood pools there.

      But yeah, go ahead with your deer analogy and your future NCIS career and I’ll just be the “ignorant fool”.

      Not sure what D.S. is (defense solutions?) , but you seem to be comparing casualties of the us military (who use the weapons that you have mentioned, HE rounds, mortars, tow missles, AT-4 rockets, m-203′s, and the like), to the Libyan forces which mainly use the ak-47. It only makes sense that these victims then are not blown to smitherines by HE rounds. Also, it appears that the Libyan forces know that it only takes a few bullets to kill a man if he isn’t given aid in the immediate future, unlike the SWAT team in AZ that shot a Marine 60 times in his own home because his brother was an apparent drug dealer.

      My point being that your ruling that these are fake is ignorant because their injuries and all seem to be real from all that I have seen so far.

      And as far as I’m concerned, islam is the army of antichrist. I have believed this for a long time. There is not another “religion” on the planet that demands conversion or death, or condones and “rewards” killing “infidels’ through whatever means available, even suicide. There is a lot more anecdotal evidence that I won’t get into (due to the new and WONDERFUL character limit) but either the “moderates” are going to see the evil when it envelopes the world or they are all just waiting for mohammed’s call to kill the infidels. I do pray for their salvation and redemption, but ultimately their killing one another matters nothing to me, and I have no sympathy whatsoever.

      Now. calling us Blazers “Nazis” because we don’t care about this but would be up in arms if this were Jews being killed….
