The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!!!

Posted on October 29, 2010 at 11:31amIt is written that “Power Corrupts” and that Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.” While I realize that there are bad apples in both parties, I was a little shocked by the larger marginal number on the left side of the aisle. It was Nancy Pelosi who said this, “We’ll turn the most closed and corrupt Congress into the most open and honest Congress,” “Speaker Pelosi is actively working to block federal investigations of corrupt Democrats,” The Washington Times reported. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is working to buffer lawmakers from federal investigators. This is a bad idea. Special legal protections for politicians encourage unethical conduct. Pelosi’s promise to clean up corruption looks really foolish now that she has created a maelstrom with the CIA by accusing it of lying to Congres “on a regular basis.” To date, she has offered no proof of her claim, nor will she be able to. This was one of a boatload of promises made to the American people by Democrats from the President on down. The list of broken promises is equally as long.
Here’s a list of corrupt, dishonest Democrats through the past year. Non-political watchdog groups over the past two years have named, ranked, and described the transgressions of politicians from both parties. Of the two major group reports, one had Democrats leading Republicans by a 3 to 1 margin. The other group has it at 4 to 1, again with the Dems firmly on top.
I think there are three qualifiers for a dishonest politician. One is outright lying to the people. Looking at the camera, or the crowd, and lying through your teeth. Then, there is the practice of breaking promises. Standing up there like a big windbag and promising things you know in your heart will never happen or that you have no plans for ever advancing. The third and final qualifier is actually breaking the law. This happens more than you think, and politicians often get away with it – like Harry Reid’s land deal, Barack Obama’s land deal, Tim Geithner’s tax evasion, and so on. If this had happened to you or me, we’d be in the slammer.
Obama is in charge of the largest budget deficit in history, the first government takeover of a Dow component company in history, the most money spent in the shortest amount of time in history, and a culture of corruption in his party, of which he is a part, with the largest number of dishonored cabinet nominees in history. And we’re less than two years in. 41 Czars and counting! And now, the Obama Administration is in meltdown as appointees are leaving like rats on a sinking ship.
From the list below, see if you can remember the dishonest Democrat and the charge. If you can’t, Google it. You may be surprised at what you find. Also, add to the list if you wish. I’m sure there’s room.

At the time no one knew how this guy would turn out and now we know. Right now Dan Webster (R) is in the running for replacement of Grayson AND if he thinks that if elected it is because of his stellar qualities, his service will be short indeed.
