Greek Newscaster Hit With Yogurt, Eggs Live on Air

Protesters hit a Greek newscaster with yogurt and eggs while he was live on the air Friday, reportedly because they were angry he had featured a spokesman for a far-right political organization on his program the week before.

According to GreekReporter.com, demonstrators broke into the television station chanting and hurling the food at newscaster Panagiotis Bourchas shortly after 9 p.m.

Video of the incident shows Bourchas sitting calmly, shielding his face against the onslaught of dairy products. He stands up after a few moments and picks up his laptop, turning his back and continuing to get slathered with food. He walks off set after a few more moments, shaking his head and pulling out his earpiece.

A producer later walked out and spoke to the crowd, according to the New York Post.

I wonder if the eggs and yogurt would have continued to be thrown if a loaded weapon would have been revealed hiding in his jacket?

His only crime was to allow a voice for the other side. This is how radical socialist, along with anarchist deal with freedom of speech. Lock and load people. Francis Piven, Ayers, and Obamas other handlers has already laid plans for this in America.

I don’t understand!! The media is getting pelted with dairy products even though they have been willing to carry on the socialist agenda unchecked, allowing for this insurrection? Why is the anger boomeranging on them when they were faithful soldiers in the socialist’/commmunist cause just cuz they allowed one unsanctioned viewpoint on the show to tarnish their nearly perfect propaganda campaign? What a shame that the news people are tasting the medicine the liberty-loving republicans have had to swallow for years. Hmmmmm..so confused; it’s all Greek to me.

Socialism is nothing more than a Ponzie scheme … and when the money finally runs out, as it always does, then everyone is in the same boat, except the ones behind it all. What these progressives behind all this just don’t get is this: When the money finally does run out and the sheep who have been listening to all their BS are cold, hungry and mad, they are going to finally realize WHO put them in the place they are in, and they will turn on them and there will be a brand new French Revolution right here in the US.

You are sooo tootally right. I’m Cuban and lived this in the island. At first it’s free for all and then as things ran out (because socialism discourages efficiency and innovation) then the government “realizes” that it’s been too “paternalistic” and starts taking back things. But by then it is very firmly in power, and it has created the structures for selfperpetuation.
It’s then that the people (the masses, the sheep) come to know the real face of the moster. And of course the people necessary for the preservation of the regime have all kind of privileges that keeps them from suffering the misery to which the system has condemned the majority of the people.

The left-wing will not go quietly, but they WILL go eventually. It is the natural order of things.

There are NO free lunches. There are NO guarantees in life. Life isn’t fair.

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel or envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” – Winston Churchill.

I’m glad someone is waking up in what I have been trying to say for years! It’s just a matter of time with all that printing of money and continuing prices going up and up! What’s even more funny is that I heard on the news that people are buying new cars at a staggering rate than ever before! Yeah, more debt makes a lot of sense when you are way over your head in the first place! While your paying more than what your house is worth you continue to tack onto even more! Nothing makes since anymore here!

The worst of it all is that education is going down hill at a rapid rate than ever before! I have always learned that education is the only way out of poverty and that it has always been a sign of true wealth! People now days have extreme debts like college loans, car loans and home loans than ever before while the dollar is becoming worthless! It will only be a matter of time when inflation with high interest rates begin to hit and many will have nothing to show for what they worked for. In those days it won’t even be worth working for, because the dollar won’t be worth much to begin with! Folks, there is a storm coming and not many are prepared in this country! Not to mention our children will have to carry a huge burden for a long time to come!

Do they immediately go about fixing those programs? Nooooo… they conjure up another feel good, super exspensive, bound to go broke social program.

Same complaint as with the violent OWS crowd. They see the gravy train coming to a stop and are fighting to economically enslave those of us that earn our own way.

Greece, where over 1/3 of everyone “works” for the government. Where EVERYBODY gets 14 months of pay per year. Where the universities teach communism and the students take night classes to learn the actual material.

Greece, about 5 years ahead of us on the Obama Financial plan.

“all of this is on that rabid communist animal obama.”

BHO is just a figurehead. A faceman for the special interests he represents.

If you want to understand who the REAL culprit is, understand how the Federal Reserve destroys the value of our currency by printing it like there is no tomorrow, and then bailing out foreign central banks and leaving us stuck with the bill.
The world’s top prducing countries are already losing faith in the US dollar, and are in the middle of discussions to drop it as the world reserve currency. (See latest “BRICS” meeting)
If/when that happens, you will see hyperinflation and an eventual dollar collapse.
Only one Presidential candidate has been trying to warn us about the coming disaster for over 20 years, and even predicted the 2008 recession. He’s the only one who understands the principles of a TRUE free market system, and how to get there. He left more knowledge of monetary policy in the toilet, than these other 4 clowns could muster combined.
He’s the ONLY one who has proposed a SERIOUS plan to cut the spending and balance the budget in 3 years, not 20.
Too bad most people are either ignorant of the causes for the current crisis (which is only going to get worse) or have let the corrupt media do their thinking for them.
We probably wont recognize this country in a couple of years.
