Greta Grills Gov. Walker Over Answers During Prank Call

Editor’s note: One of the accounts in this interview seems to use a transcript that does not match the actual audio.  The account involves the rude description of MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski.  For a complete explanation see our original post here.

On the whole, Greta is very, very fair. She is particularly effective when she goes to our representatives’ offices (both Dem.and Rep.) and has lengthy, substantive interviews with them. In this soundbite era, it is very helpful to actually hear a real conversation that lasts more than 90 seconds. I am very conserative, but when I listen to more left leaning representatives in that kind of format – I can at least see where they are coming from.
It is interesting that the media is trying so hard to get something against Gov. Walker from this amateur prank and there is nothing there. They have no problem ignoring so called gotcha undercover exposures of Planned Parenthood where they are seen discussing 13 and 14 year olds getting abortions with their pimp. What Gov. Walker said in private is what he has said in public. We will see this pathetic prank ad nauseum on MSNBC, but we will never see the video (on MSNBC) exposing how often Trumka is in contact with the White House. Koch (fake Koch) had no influence over Walker. Apparently, Trumka has a great deal of influence over Obama.
So, keep up the good work Greta.

Walker knew he was being punked and used the prank phone call as an opportunity to get his message out to the Skank and Defile union members that they are in a lose lose situation. As for Gretta. She is obviously a big time cheer leader for Unions. Very much a harsh political insider who helps elected officials get away with their crimes against the private citizen.

Greta is fair and is objective. The Governor was believable and I support everthing he said because he said everything on public airwave before. As for the fake Koch’s poor use of discriptive language, the Governor was not agreeing with him but acknowledged what he said with more or less a nod of his head. Remember it was a private conversation but at least he didn’t say “I’d like to cut his b*lls off” the famous private or thought was private statement about Obama by the Rev. J. Jackson.

I never really cared for Greta’s interviews.
She can’t even phrase a question properly.
Rambles on and on trying to answer her own question before she gets it out.
She starts a sentence and then ends the thought unfinished.
Can’t believe she was a successful attorney much less a news anchor.

Greta is a typical Liberal. She knows very little of what goes on around her other than her own show. She simply plays the reruns that others on FOX have had on all day. There are two times a day that I turn FOX news off. Shepard Smith and Greta. I think they both would be much happier at MSNBC.

I totally disagree with you. Greta is in the middle of things. Did you see her going after our representatives for NOT reading the health-care bill? She was livid! That does not make her a “liberal” in my book. Yes, she seems to like Hillary…but she is also very respectful to the Bush family. Give her a break! Yes, I thought she was in a sense trying to “entrap” Gov. Walker. Unfortunately that is the lawyer in her, but again, it doesn’t mean that she is liberal. Through the whole questioning of the Gov., he maintained his integrity and upheld the responsibility and reputation of his office. What more can you ask for? We could use more of that…particularly on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The left will stop at nothing to demean, intimidate and harass any republican or conservative. If this was a liberal, would you even hear about these types of harassments?? No, because the conservatives and the republicans have morals and ethics. They are the ones that keep this country civil. Look at Wisconsin, who is doing the protesting and the name calling. Who is it that actually strikes camera people, or tea party people? It is always a union thug, democrat, liberal. We all know this, and now they are crazy because regular people are waking up to see how evil these liberals are. So, what does a wild caged animal do? Well, just watch the union thugs, the liberals and the democrats and there in is your answer. they are losing and they know it.

With the exception of Beck, Fox has moved so much left you have to look at the channel on your tv to be sure you’re not watching MSNBC. Fox is consumed with fear of the regime, FCC, and political correctness. They have driven the “fair and balanced” format into a liberal ideology. Not surprised if ratings plummet. Where do we turn to hear what Fox use to provide us. Glenn Beck, God Bless You!

The difference is very telling isn’t it?

Democratic lawmakers in Wisconsin run from the democratic process after losing in a huge way Nov 2nd. The do this simply because they can get away with it. They can get away with it, because their constituency is completely and morally bankrupt.

The Republicans would also run from the process IF they could get away with it. The Republicans cant get away with something like this simply because their constituency would quickly shout them down, and have them removed, post-haste.

I think that Fox is making an effort on some programs like O’Reily, Shepard Smith and Greta to be more even balanced. It is working because allot more people are tuning in. If they build their audience, we will have a better chance of gaining some ground. It gives people a chance to see that FOX reports the news that all the others ignore. Greta is a big supporter of hillary clinton but she does try to remain objective and does have the guts to defend anyone she feels is right regardless of their party.

Greta has a not-so-latent centrist/liberal side to her (probably grew up in a Democrat family). It is masked a bit because she is an attorney and is therefore confrontational. I get the feeling she was appeasing her centrist/liberal social sphere because she did mention today she’s “getting it from both sides”.

But, Greta balances out Fox news. It is good for Fox overall. MSNBC has nowhere near this kind of balance.

Governor Walker did not suddenly change into this evil politician on the phone (even though he was constantly baited by someone he thought was an employer in the state and deserved to be treated cordially) and his demeanor and civil attitude show through in every interview.

Consider the context of the call, who the Governor really is, and realize there is no story here.

This REPUBLIC was based on INDIVIDUAL rights. Unions are the total opposite. They are fighting and protesting over COLLECTIVE bargaining rights. They force members to join the Union to get a job. They force the state to automatically take out the dues. The Unions then take the dues and spend them on FAR-LEFT union supportor candidates that flee their jobs. The Unions do all of this COLLECTIVELY without letting their members having any say on how to spend THE MEMBERS money !!! They say this is about BARGAINING RIGHTS and NOT about money. Everything they BARGAIN over has to do with MONEY !!! Sick days, Holidays, Pensions,Health-Care and personable days are ALL about MONEY !! The teachers of this country have put them selves on a pedastal and are trying to say they are more important than they really are. Many abuse their sick days and then the states have to pay a SUBSITUTE teacher or they get to collect them and get paid for NOT using them.

I believe the ‘damage’ control Dawg Gawd is refering to is from the left, the agent they sent to trip up the governor on the phone, failed, miserably to get anything of usage against the conservatives for the propaganda machinery to distort and fabricate. So the left spinmeisters of MSNBC now have to do the damage control to keep their agenda intact, to keep from making further fools of themselves, and to generally find each and every way to pass the blame onto the conservatives and the tea party.

In general, the ‘damage control’ is nothing more than a transparent effort to make their own failures into a success, which just shows how they think of Americans and how desperate they have gotten.

I cut Greta a little slack because she usually is pretty fair compared to the propaganda kings at MS-Aljazeera. I still don’t get how Walker could have let himself be suckered by these guys. He is enemy number 1 now and must be careful what he says and to whom he says it.

I don’t see this as damage control at all … And for the “record”, Greta is mostly Liberal.
Anyway … Scott Walker never hid his agenda when he ran for Election. He told the voters exactly what he was going to do if he were to be elected. The Voters elected him by 6%

Again, here are typical liberals lying and scamming to try and smear someone they dislike. Liberals are like Terrorists, in their minds, it’s okay to Lie, Cheat and Smear because the ends justify the means.

Look at the Teachers in Wisconsin, they’ve abandoned their jobs and even received fraudulent letters from doctors to justify their absence. Who’s teaching the students while these teachers are abandoning their jobs ???

The damage control is from the prankster and I submit if it wasn’t that he knew he would get the MSM to spin the words on the tape the way he wanted, he probably would have hid the tape and make none the wiser. Greta did not listen to the tape, a journalist fault as transcripts never tell the whole story – she read it – how do I know this? The question about Mika. On the tape you can hear the Governor’s responding, “oh, yeah” before the ‘nice piece of …” was said. For all the trolls that means he wasn’t saying ‘oh, yeah’ she’s a nice piece of … He was responding to “what about that Mika” – the Governor quickly changed the subject, as he did many times when the prankster was saying things which appeared to make him uncomfortable. Bottom line, the governor did not say anything he hadn’t already articulated in public and prove himself a gentlemen even when the caller was being an idiot.

So, why would Governor Walker talk to one of the Koch Brothers on the phone…..

      Oh, I don’t know……Maybe….

      Wisconsin Facts
      Companies in Wisconsin

Flint Hills Resources, LLC, through its subsidiaries, is a leading refining and chemicals company. Its subsidiaries market products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol, olefins, polymers and intermediate chemicals, as well as base oils and asphalt. A subsidiary distributes refined fuel through its strategically located pipelines and terminals in Junction City, Waupun, Madison and Milwaukee. Another subsidiary manufactures asphalt that is distributed to terminals in Green Bay and Stevens Point.

Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. operates a pipeline system that crosses Wisconsin, part of the nearly 4,000 miles of pipelines owned or operated by the company.

The C. Reiss Coal Company is a leading supplier of coal used to generate power. The company has locations in Green Bay, Manitowoc, Ashland and Sheboygan.

Georgia-Pacific companies have six facilities in the state that manufacture consumer tissue, towel and wiper products, corrugated packaging, and hardboard. In addition, the company has offices and a research center in the state. Georgia-Pacific LLC, based in Atlanta, and its subsidiaries have approximately 300 manufacturing facilities across North America, South America and Europe, ranging from large pulp, paper and tissue operations to gypsum plants, box plants and building products operations. companies have six facilities in the state that manufacture consumer tissue, towel and wiper products, corrugated packaging, and hardboard. Issues are being made about:

      - Walker admitting that placing “troublemakers” in the crowd was thought about.
      - The Mika comment.

Well Walker said “WE” thought about it. Which could very well be that someone in his inner circle threw it on the table. Walker had the calmer head and said no. I seem to recall a phone call during the California Governors race in which the now Governor of California advised it was one of his staffers had actually made the comment. Funny how people on the left defended that action. The unions are paying homeless to picket. The hypocrisy is just astounding.

As for the Mika comment. It wasn’t Walker that said it. It was the Koch imposter. To his credit, Walker redirected to a story about going out to dinner and seeing Mika at the restaurant. Walker did not make the “piece of ass” comment. It was the fake Koch (can we call him “New Coke”?). Here again I seem to recall a female candidate in Arizona being called a whore and a National Organization for Women (NOW) representitive upholding the comment rather than condemning the use of the word.

      http://www.theblaze.com/stories/leftist-writer-records-phone-call-with-gov-walker-while-posing-as-koch-brother/

Start at about the 6:00 minute mark of the second half recording of the conversation.

The fake caller said, “You gotta love that Mika B”, to which Waker responded Ya. Then Walker jumps right into his story about bumping into Mika while out to dinner. I don’t think he even heard the “ass” comment.

I like Gretta…but this time I think she spent too much time trying to make Governor Walker look bad when he was deserving of praise. He really showed how honest and above board he is and that is refreshing. He really passed a great test and this should have been where Greta went not running him down.

solaveritas . . . you’re right. We should set aside a governor sharing the whole of his administration’s strategy in a labor dispute of national significance with a complete stranger. Set aside his consideration of planting troublemakers in the crowd. No story there. We should focus on more important things – like Michelle Obama eating spare ribs.

Thankfully your reasoning is relevant only to people who already share your stilted world view.
