According to unnamed sources speaking to Politico, five professionals traversed Capitol Hill Monday visiting the offices of various Democrats who came up short in last week’s midterm elections. Each of them made themselves available to Democratic staffers who may need help with payroll, benefits and résumé writing in their new job hunts.
But one of the five professionals has been described as a “counselor,“ dispatched to Capitol Hill to help ousted Democrats with ”the emotional aspect of the loss.” In addition, congressional staffers were given materials describing the various stages of grief.
“It was like it was about death,” one Hill staffer told Politico. “It was bizarre.”

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 9:15pmThe vast majority of government jobs aren’t supposed to be secure, because government is all about benefiting the private sector, not the other way around.
Very few government workers should feel secure in their jobs.

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 9:12pmToday was a challenging but very good day in the real, non-cyber world. Had an important business meeting regarding a fairly large deal that took an interesting turn which may end up making the deal even more substantial. Cooked and enjoyed some delicious grilled cheeseburgers in the beautiful Florida evening with my wife and daughters before helping them with their homework and getting them to bed. My nightly quick check on The Blaze, sadly, revealed the same small list of the same Glenn Beck obsessed, obviously compulsive people that I’ve seen every day for weeks. Hopefully tomorrow night will bring a change with at least one of you re-engaging with the real world and the people in it.

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 9:07pmMaybe they could find employment serving drinks at Pelosi’s achievement party. Maybe they could rinse some of the swamp water out of their mouths and have a plate of fresh roadkill to celebrate!

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 9:58pmI lost my job mostly because of them. They say the company I worked for will probably go out of business next year. (the largest construction company in town)
I didn‘t need grief counseling when I had to move out of the house I was renting because I couldn’t afford it anymore. Or do other major cutbacks to my lifestyle and plans for the future.
I COULD PROBABLY USE SOME ANGER MANAGEMENT COUSELING THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted on November 9, 2010 at 1:05amThe whole country is going to need anger management if they keep screwing with us … I’ve got about one nerve left and they are getting on it … keep fighting for America … that is what is keeping me “sane” .(at least I think I am — lol) I survived the Carter years … I never thought someone would try to TOP them!
