Ground Zero Crowd Erupts in National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance

At Ground Zero on Sunday night and early Monday morning, crowds gathered to cheer the death of Osama bin Laden. They sang the National Anthem, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, popped champagne, and even had a moment of silence (kind of).

First the National Anthem:

Now the Pledge, led by what appears to be someone in uniform:

They also chanted “U-S-A!”

And they also tried to have a moment of silence — but that was made difficult by people trying to sing the National Anthem:

Bagpipe players led an emotional rendition of “Amazing Grace:”

Finally, one guy climbed up a light pole and popped a bottle of champagne:

    I don’t belive all the jubilation is fake. But I do have a question of how long Osama has been dead. This completely takes the Donald of the radar. It also brings the Presidents popularity up. Oh Yeah and yesterday was May Day. HMMM.

    Most of us read the Blaze and other alternate sources of news because you know you cannot trust the media. Just keep your eyes open.

    I am surprised anyone was allowed to sing any anthem and surprised anyone was allowed to show a flag…we wouldn‘t want to offend anyone now would we but this will only be allowed today tomorrow back to the same ole don’t offend anyone…..I have my flag hanging screw them….

    And the re-election bid gets off to a booming start. This is all this is. Osama Ben Laden has been dead for at least eight years. He was killed in the caves in Afghanistan by the bunker buster bombs. It is kinda of strange how with the change over of the CIA leader Panetta and General Potraus and the election campaign getting under way. Kinda stinks if you ask me. A skunk just walked by, his name is not Osama, it is Obama. This will get him re-elected. He will ride the wave to the end. Oh and they buried Osama at sea?

    The news said the info came from KSM ,and another high ranking terrorist at Gitmo confirmed it as to who OBL trusted courier was so they could track him.
    Now all these leftists /marxist are celebrating the death of OBL (I still would have like to see his body)
    These are the same hypocrites who were sobbing for KSM and other terrorists getting water boarded and wanting to put these patriotic Americans in jail.
    Ya know they said KSM rights were violated and these people should be brought to trial.
    I’d be surprised if these same types /Ilk don’t brung charges agin our Seals for acting on info gathered “illegally” (ITW= in their words) from the likes of KSM whilst violating his rights.

      Many of the crowds, from Boston to Fresno, are made up of college kids. They’re waving our flag, marching, chanting “USA!”, singing the National Anthem–I haven’t seen this kind of celebrating except in films of V-E and and V-J Day.

      It’s a nice thing to wake to.

      Imagine the hypocrisy, Obama, the candidate that berated Bush for the war, and his traitorous Democrat supporters, calling Bush a war monger, not only leaves troops in Iraq, (which he said he’d get out immediately), and now tries to take credit for getting Bin Laden, something Bush started.       On the Ohio State University campus the kids are swimming in Mirror Lake (a tradition usually reserved for our playing Michigan in football, so it’s taken seriously here), and they were singing “God Bless America”. On a college campus. It‘s a good sign that maybe the kids aren’t as dumbed down as we like to assume.

      I remember after the rally Glenn Beck had they should a person in the crowd with a flag shirt on and said it was one of the crazies at the rally.

      No, this was NOT staged, it really happened.

      A lot of other people do not remember or get that the first of may is also Red Day for the Communist folks of the world; so many things happen on one day, now there are already conspiracy stories on the way of the Osama bin Lauden termination being used to cover communist activities…

      There was a story on New Zeal sight that a communist rally across America was suppose to, in the words of the commie organizer quoted “Be hundreds of thousands in strength across the nation on may day in America.” (April 28, 2011 article)

      I don’t think any of this was staged. I am hopeful and very thankful to God for this, I pray that His blessings are returning to this country and His people. Now may establich His people in our Goverment to restore us to soundness and may he rid us of our internal enemies. A man of God emailed me last night and suggested I read Psalms 109, & 112, because they are powerful and he was right. Let us keep celebrating in the grace and mercy of God for our homeland, and may we bend our knees before Him in worship and suppication for this nation. We live in dangerous times and we cannot forget that for a moment. Thank You Lord for this may You recieve Glory, Honor, and Praise for what you have help our Nave Seals have done.       If I may share a story:

      I went to DC last this morning at 1230 am to join in the festivities. Myself, and two fellow Marines came across another larger group of Marines and began to sing the Marine’s Hymn. About half way through we were circled by a group of college students chanting “Support Our Troops… Support Our Troops.”

      There was nothing staged today.

      You know, I’m as conservative as all of the rest of us and some people on this site are just embarrassing me. The death of OBL is a great day for America. Democrat, Republican, Black, White, Gay, Straight. It shouldn’t matter. Who cares that Obama was the president when it happened? Can’t we all just feel good about something without having to turn it into a left vs. right battle? Seeing all this patriotism is great.

      I’m on a college campus right now and it is extremely liberal, but I’m out there celebrating with the rest of them. This is about protecting the free world, not politics.
