Wasn’t part of the deal, a gag order? Maybe Mark ought to sue them. You haven’t seen Eduardo all over the news whining.

I think they are just bitter about having a name like Winklevoss. I would take some of that 65 million and change my name.

I could care less either way, but if 65 million isn’t enough for them… I’ll post my mailing address and volunteer to take care of that for them.

I marvel at how many posts on this thread think that when a person has been wronged, ripped off and defamed that they are immature and ridiculous for wanting justice. And resorting to mocking their appearance as some sort of justification for being so petty is truly disappointing. It certainly says more about the characters of those spewing these comments than it does the targets of them.

These guys seem pretty shallow. Does anyone really care who created Facebook? It is a place to keep up with friends and family. This seems like the pig and chicken arguing over who is more healthy for you. These guys need to row away into the sunset.

I think that if you believed you helped create a $50 billion business, and were not sharing in those profits, you would probably care.

They got 65 million I would say that is a share of the profits. If the movie is correct they had an idea for a dating site for people who wanted to date people at Harvard, not an idea for what Facebook became.

Just goes to show ya that
money can’t remove the the stain of betrayl
It leaves such a bad taste in ones mouth…
How easy we can say move on….been betrayed lately?
The only thing that will help
is for them to forgive the betrayer … then
you will see how easy it is to move on!
Like a boulder is lifted off their lives… then
they can clearly enjoy their money
    go about doing good and
    Have the Name everyone recognizes…!

They were wronged, the courts settled in their favor and they received millions, now they need to get over it and move on. At this point they sound like whiny children who just want to stay in the spotlight.

They were not necessarily wronged. A court did not rule in their favor. They settled to keep the dispute out of court. But I do agree they need to move on. $65 million is not such a bad deal. Of course, they are probably kicking themselves for not getting more, since FB is valued at about $50 billion now. Fools.

@Non_Probate_Asset: Thus, why they just can’t let it drop. They know now that they could have gotten more. Unfortunately you find in our society it is sometimes far easier to just give idiots something to make them go away. It doesn’t mean they had any legitimate case, it just means that they had they ability to cause enough of a legal issue to make it cheaper to pay them to go away. This is very much like the infamous McDonald’s coffee fiasco. The fact that anyone would sue for being a careless idiot should have landed this person in a psycho ward. However, the millions paid added up to perhaps a days profit for McDonald’s. It was easier to just give them something to make them go away. The courts are full of these vile creatures, these two morons are too stupid to realize they are wearing their stupidity like a badge of honor.

      @Mjustice

Actually, if you read about the McDonald‘s coffee fiasco instead of simply repeating what you’ve heard…you‘d find that the lawsuit wasn’t because the coffee was hot and she spilled it. It’s because the coffee was kept obscenely hot. Far over the normal temperature it was to be kept. It badly burned her genitals and she had to get skin grafts and surgery due to it.
