Guess What: ‘The Cloward-Piven Strategy Working Perfectly — in Europe’

If you follow Glenn Beck, you know who Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven are. They are the dynamic teaching duo who championed the revolutionary idea of restarting the U.S. economy by collapsing the system and remaking it into one more favorable to the unions and socialist ideals. And that’s done by getting as many people on public assistance as possible.
Now, intrepid blogger Zombie is out with a new piece detailing how that “Cloward-Piven“ strategy is ”working perfectly” across the pond.
Zombie points to the weekend’s big news from Europe: the French elected an avowed Socialist, and the Greeks sent a strong signal by voting against the parties that supported austerity (even the Socialists) and then voted in droves for a “neo-Nazi” group. (Business Insider put that in perspective with the following headline: “16% of the New Greek Parliament Is Communists and Nazis.”)
“The message is clear,” writes Zombie. “Once enough voters are on the dole, regardless of your party’s ideology or what label it has, you will win elections if you promise to keep the free money flowing. This was Cloward-Piven’s point, and they turned out to be frighteningly correct.”
Zombie continues:
What this means for Europe is anyone’s guess. Because both France and Greece are embedded in the EU, they do not have complete sovereignty over their own economies, so it still remains to be seen if the rest of the EU will allow them to spiral further into debt and reneg on previous agreements to tighten the pursestrings. But it seems that if they were left to their own devices, both France and Greece are willing to ignore reality and plunge headfirst into a completely unsustainable socialist model.
“Sunday might not be as epochal as Russia’s October Revolution,” Zombie concludes, “but it should be remembered as the day of the first Cloward-Piven Revolution.”

Report Post »The most important is your last statement. They just don’t understand that they will be the first to go. I used to have an interview with a former KGB officer (Uri something or other) where he talked about how to take over a country. He said the people that Russia used were the first to go. They were idealists who wanted a utopia and when they didn’t get it from the guys they thought were going to give it to them (and that’s why they sided with them to overthrow their own government), they would rebel again. And the new government won’t deal well with rebels…they’ll line them up and shoot them.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 11:45amYou nailed it! I am not 100% sure of this but Tina Turner & Johnny Depp live in France. Tina is in her early 70′s, birthday the end of November, & I do my “home-arobics“ to her ”one last time-live in concert”, year 2000. Tina will have to put on her leather-skirt & red dancing heels again to pay the higher taxes for the concert goers. I like trivia, & you may know, Tina is only 5′4″ (she may have shrunk alittle with age) & with her high waist her “dy-no-mite” legs appeared to be that she was taller than she actually is. This new regime is saying, “we love you Tina & your riches” and she will be right back at them with her song, “What’s love got to do with it”? and she will threaten to leave France and take her stand to say, “Better be good to me”. Johnny Depp? An interview a few years ago he said he didn’t like to BATHE that much…so HE MUST live in France, right? Spray on that “Midnight-In-Paris” perfume & away you go. I like his movies & acting because he is so talented & really does not give a “rip” what anyone thinks, he does well. The real purchasing value of the dollar remains the same for you. It may mean cheaper vacations in Europe, but considering the trend would lead to hyperinflation, even cheap vacations may be rather temporary. Stable currency markets are desirable on many levels (unless there is a persistent undervaluation of a currency–like Chinese renmimbi), unstable–only a few people benefit.

Your replies, especially the one to Calisun, make it painfully clear to me that you are a sound bite intellectual and are not realistic in any way. To make fun of the phrase “a little less evil” from Calisun’s post is mere parroting on your part. She is absolutely right! Romney is part of the establishment and while I may concede that he is better than Obama he is far from a candidate that has the backbone to maintain strict Constitutional fidelity.
It’s logic like yours and your compatriots that enables the establishment parties to deliver to the US electorate the same dismal choices each four years. A sheeple that follows the herd off a different cliff is still a sheeple. Maybe it’s your age (my first Presidential election was 1976); the choices have always been the same. Crap or Crappier. I, for one, can’t stand anymore surprises! I voted for Reagan and he left us with a deficit of $1.86T. Boy was I surprised! The I voted for Bush I and he left us with a deficit of another $1.55T. Boy I was really surpirsed! I didn’t vote for Clinton and while he did leave us with a deficit, he was at least under both Reagan and Bush I. Then I vote for Bush II and he left us with a deficit of $4.22T. Man, I’ve got to tell you I was really, really, really surprised! Now comes our current CIC. The final count isn’t in, but he’s already beat Bush II and we still have at least (and hopefully only) 8 months to go.
The only surprise I’m looking for is viable alternatives to either of the mainstream parties, and voters intelligent enough to back them. I’ve been surprised quite enough, thank you!

Since I love asking this question, What is so dangerous about Ron Paul’s foreign policy?
http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/national-defense/
1. Make securing our borders the top national security priority. You against that?
2. Avoid long and expensive land wars that bankrupt our country by using constitutional means to capture or kill terrorist leaders who helped attack the U.S. and continue to plot further attacks. Are you against this?
3. Guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act. How about this?
4. End the nation-building that is draining troop morale, increasing our debt, and sacrificing lives with no end in sight. Do you like nation building?
5. Follow the Constitution by asking Congress to declare war before one is waged. You dont like the Constitution?
6. Only send our military into conflict with a clear mission and all the tools they need to complete the job – and then bring them home. You dont like this?
To be continued…
Report Post »Mutiny
Posted on May 7, 2012 at 9:53am7. Ensure our veterans receive the care, benefits, and honors they have earned when they return. I for one think they deserve this.
8. Revitalize the military for the 21st century by eliminating waste in a trillion-dollar military budget. You like no bid contracts made full of kick backs making lobbyist money?
9. Prevent the TSA from forcing Americans to either be groped or ogled just to travel on an airplane and ultimately abolish the unconstitutional agency. Do you think grandma and toddlers should be molested?
10. Stop taking money from the middle class and the poor to give to rich dictators through foreign aid. You think this is a bad idea?
Now can you tell me what in that is dangerous? I dont believe we need 900 bases in 130 countries. I dont think we can afford to nation build. I dont think we need to meddle in every country in the worlds affairs.
Try this, do some research and quit letting Bill Oreilly think for you. People like you are the reason our country is so messed up. Uninformed sheep that are told what to do are sending us to bankruptcy. If we go bankrupt we will have no national defense. If the world banks own us, they own our military. The panel was created to try and streamline our military and cut cost. Who isnt for that? Soros jumped on board later on. I can tell you why Ron Paul was on this panel and what he was doing. He was calling for a audit of the Pentagon. Its in the report if you bothered to even do any research. You dont think it would be a good idea to audit the Pentagon?
Ron Paul voted for going to get Bin Laden. He would have rather gotten him through letters of marque and reprisal instead of risking our troops and being stuck in a national building project. Look at us now, still losing troops in Afghanistan and paying out the ears to rebuild that worthless country. Ron Paul was correct.
The rabbi showed up to a rally of Ron Paul. Like many people at rallies they get to shake the candidates hand.
Weiss told Paul that Judaism is a religion and that it ”should never be transformed into a nationalism.” The paper claims that Paul’s response — which will certainly draw ire — was that this statement is “good advice.”
“good advice” is anti semetic? Do you think the Muslim Brotherhood should transform religion into nationalism in Egypt? Why is ok for one and not the other?

Again, moving slowly down the wrong road still means you are headed in the wrong direction.

I dont think about the lesser of two evils. Evil is evil. You say Romney is a business man. He raised taxes as governor. The budget he put out doesnt cut one penny from current spending levels. Basically what Romney did with that budget is agree with Obama that trillion dollar deficits are ok.
Oh and that great business man Romney did make money in the private sector. The problem is he used government bailouts to do it. At Bain with one of the factories he bought he took 44 million in bailouts. The man is funded by the same people as Obama.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:41amThat video of the Neo-Nazi interview in Greece with the goon entering the room to demand all the reporters to “stand in respect or get out” was MORE than creepy; the message that opponents should “fear” – get out FAST. So THIS is what they envision of “utopia” -I don’t want it!

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:36amYou don’t even have to collapse the governent. You just let enough non working, non tax paying idiots in that you give free stuff to, you get their vote and their body for riots.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:31amGuess what???? It’s working perfectly here….. unless GOD’s people get on our knees and humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways (doing business as usual as if nothing’s wrong???) and seek HIS face….
It IS ALL ABOUT GOD. Nothing else matters.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:47amSilly talk. All the prayer in the world won’t help. The only thing that helps is reasonable sane people taking charge. If the crazy people gather in too many numbers, than game over. God will do nothing but sit it out and watch. As he has from the beginning.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:48amMorning Kick……..You are right of course, it is working here in America AND across the globe. I remember the first time I heard the phrase Socialized Medicine. That was in the early 70′s and the Dr. I was working for at the time understood what it would mean to America and he opened my eyes to the danger.
We’ve come a long way since then to the complete Socialist takeover of America and it was done quietly, in stages until we are in a trap that only God can remove us from.
Keep up the good work Kick, keep spreading the message.

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 8:55amI agree, Grandma, but unfortunately the masses have been indoctrinated by socialsit teachers, just like Pivens, and they bought the whole propaganda agenda. We need re-education camps, but not the ones the marxists are talking about. They need to learn history http://www.tomwoods.com/blog/marxism-and-the-intellectuals/, and then learn about our Constitution and authentic American history. Unless people really understand what is happening here in America and in Europe, we will all go down as the civilation that was too uninformed to realize what happened when we were all destroyed. As Ben Franklin said, you now have a Repubic, IF you can keep it!!!!

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 9:17amDon’t knock it until you try it. Yes, I am talking about a sincere prayer for good to defeat evil in all things. America will go further down hill if we do not listen after we pray. God Bless you all and America.
Life is short and eternity is forever so do good for your future generations.
