Guess Who Is the Most Popular TV News Host/Anchor on Facebook (Hint: Not Olbermann)

If you’re a popular personality on MSNBC, you’re actually not all that well “liked” on Facebook. Business Insider published a list of the 16 most popular cable news anchors Monday and not a single slot went to anyone on the progressive MSNBC.

The list was created by simply looking at how many Facebook users clicked “like” on the TV personalities’ fan pages. Though he doesn’t exactly qualify since he ended his TV gig on Fox News last month, conservative commentator Glenn Beck took the top spot as the most popular with over 2 million Facebook fans. Fox News’ Sean Hannity came in a distant second with almost 800,000 fans.

The list doesn’t reflect actual viewership, as Fox News typically dominates the competition, but it may be an indicator as to how engaged each personality’s audience is in regards to social media.

  REDYANQUI I highly doubt it. Most of your comrades do everything they can to ignore the ideas of their opposition. The most popular TV News Personality’s on fb list correlates quite well with their ratings. The more popular they are, the more Likes they get. It’s that simple.

  I looked up Ed Shultz and O’Donnell as well… Shultz doesn’t have a page that I could find… And O’Donnell has a measly 13k… I guess Cenk Uygur doesn’t have a show anymore lol… and for claiming he has 500,000,000 views on you tube he doesn’t have many facebook followers… only 50k… So clearly Fox has MSNBC crushed(that’s not news)… but the article is slightly misleading…

  Update… someone didn’t do their homework at all… or just decided to leave some stuff out…Olberman has 3 different pages… 1 has 130k… 1 has 9k… and the 3rd had 25k…
  
  Judge Judge Andrew Napolitano also has over 100k… Hell Stossel is only on once a week and has 57k… and even Red Eye has more than the “16th” place on this list at 34k… I mean this stuff isn’t that hard to find… Come on Blaze!! Stop cutting and pasting and do some follow up work… GB is 1st either way… but to not provide all the info makes it look fishy…Of course the real news here is that Red Eye has more viewers than MSNBC‘s primetime joke O’Donnell… lol now that’s funny…

  Trolls are masochist – someone who obtains pleasure from receiving punishment. They troll all the conservative sites wanting people to get upset with them, because it gives them pleasure, as they sit in their mother’s basement typing away and ignored. They at least get attention when they troll.

  I would still count the trolls because obviously he’s getting their attention. I can‘t stand Matthews but he’s not worth my time and energy to pay attention too. These people claim to hate Beck yet they spend all their time in his sites. They must think it’s worth their time or they would just ignore him. Seriously some of these people spend more time in Glenn Becks sites then his die hard fans, it really is pathetic.

  Thanks to Glenn, I have come to realize WE are the majority. I see it everyday. :) His news ratings were at the top too. Americans want the truth. I ♥ Glenn. :) He has made such a difference and is still going strong. The only reason the liberals don’t like him is because he is genuine and honest. That kind of combonation is like kryptonite to them. :)

  How did Shepard Smith get on the list??? His little “tantrum” after Obama’s speech tonight and again after the response was disgusting … his Obama is “the one” attitude should be GONE .. I expect

My first guess was Glenn, but only a guess until I got into the story, I am not surprised. I would like to thank Glenn for exposing the evil one who affects our country the most with his evil deeds and that is George Soros. Soros would be in jail for his actions if he was doing his evil deeds to this country back in the 50s and 60s. The US would not allow Soros to spread his corruption here and try and destoy our country, but Obama has no love of this country and Soros is allowed to walk under this weak President.

  He manufactures stories and theories based loosely on reality. I remember one show he played several different clips of fights in McDonalds and others caught on security tape claiming that it illustrates a degenerating America. I find it hard to believe that the history of America was quarrel-less and easier to believe it’s just easier to stoke this fire today because of cheap and abundant surveillance cameras and video-sharing capabilities on the internet. Him and his staff didn’t even have to get up out of their chairs to paint this picture of a ever-worsening America for you.

Only Glenn Beck Tells the truth. Only he will show humility when he is wrong. Only he will admit it when he is wrong and will correct it. Although I have not seen him have to do so, very often. The Liberal hacks are so done when it comes to the people seeing the truth. They haven’t the ability to tell the truth or at the least for some, to tell the whole truth. Glenn will NAIL anyone to the wall, no matter the party affiliation or leanings in the political arena. Glenn tells the truth, even if it hurts. Trust, but verifies his output and only Glenn give it like it is.
