Gun-Toting Beauty Queen Looks to Cash in on Fame After Killing Burglar With Pink Pistol

Meghan Brown, the drop-dead gorgeous beauty queen who shot and killed an intruder in her house with a pink pistol on March 12, is looking to capitalize on her traumatic experience. According to The Daily, she wants a shot at fame–maybe even a National Rifle Association ad campaign or sponsorship deal.

“I wanted to make some money,” Brown said after posing in lingerie with a gun.  “I wanted to capitalize on this. I’m the perfect example of why women should have a gun.”

How could the NRA resist her?

Gun Toting Beauty Queen Looks to Cash in on Fame After Killing Burglar With Pink Pistol

On the evening of March 12 at about 3 am, Brown opened the door to a home invader who grabbed her from behind, covering her nose and mouth, trying to take her upstairs to the bedroom. At that point, the noise caused her fiancee to wake up. Brown’s fiancee attacked the burglar. As the two men scuffled, Brown reached for her pink gun, which she keeps in a drawer of her nightstand.

“I grabbed my gun and waited…to be honest with you I’m not really that great of a shot, and he was on top of my fiancé. It was pretty nerve-racking.”

“I had my gun drawn, focused in on him – as he moved, my gun moved,” she said. Brown took four shots and killed the intruder.

She also said that she was glad that she shot the burglar. “The way I see it is, the guy was a really bad guy and if it wasn’t my bullets, it probably would have been the police officer’s bullets.”

For what it’s worth, Brown is one tough girl:

A year before the fatal shooting, Brown was arrested on charges of domestic violence against Planthaber [her fiancee]. Brown refused to discuss the incident. According to St. Petersburg cops, Planthaber called for help after Brown beat him up when he tried to break up with her.

In the police report, Planthaber said she slapped him — and repeatedly hit him in the face and chest — while the two were arguing in a parked car. Brown admitted she slapped him, but said it was because he threw Vixen out of the car. Planthaber declined to press charges.

What she did seems reasonable to me. The guy was a middle of the night intruder who obviously ment to do harm. Her “fiancee” was in big trouble so she shot the bad guy. If it hadn’t been for her fiancee, it probably would have been a completely different story for her. She may not be alive today. I doubt that she began the self promotion on her own. She was no doubt encouraged by others because of her beauty. Hopefully, she won’t end up being a common gold digger.
