Gunman Opens Fire at Jewish School in France Killing Multiple Children

TOULOUSE, France (AP) — A father and his two sons were among four people who died Monday when a gunman opened fire in front of a Jewish school in a city in southwest France, the Toulouse prosecutor said Monday.
Michel Valet said the 30-year-old man and his 3-year-old and 6-year-old sons were killed in the shooting just before school started.

He said another child, between 8 and 10 years old, was also killed, and a 17-year-old seriously injured.
The shooter drove away on a scooter, a national police official in Paris said. The official did not wish to be named in line with departmental rules.
Police cordoned off the private school in the northeast of Toulouse, and some two hours after the shooting children were still in the school.
President Nicolas Sarkozy accompanied by Richard Prasquier, the president of CRIF, the umbrella group representing Jewish organizations, were heading to the site of the private school, the president’s office and CRIF said.
The shooting occurred about 8:10 a.m. just ahead of the start of classes in most schools.

The shooting happened in the same area where a gunman on a motorbike opened fire on three uniformed paratroopers at a bank machine Thursday, killing two and critically wounding the other. The attack in the town of Montauban occurred not far from the soldiers’ barracks. Four days earlier, a gunman on a motorbike shot and killed another paratrooper in Toulouse, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) away.
Authorities said at the time that forensic analysis showed that the same weapon was used in the shootings in Montauban and Toulouse.
It was not immediately clear if all three shootings are related.

Once found guilty and sentenced to hang by the neck until dead, the sentence needs to be carried out in a secure location, streamed live on the net and broadcast by the major TV networks.
The American West was tamed by the use of public hangings. They are very effective.
I knew a WWII veteran who described being present at hangings at the end of the war for those found guilty of crimes against humanity. The veteran described what happens when a man dies at the end of a noose, it’s not real pretty;but, the scene is very effective on those who may be contemplating similar crimes.
Those in our US government who sold high caliber weapons to Mexican drug cartels and tried to cover-up the treason deserve the same treatment. Additionally, I’d be honored to be allowed to buy the rope!

After looking at articles from several sources, I’ve found none that give enough of a description of the attacker to judge whether or not he was a Muslim extremist. Don’t get me wrong. That very well could be the case, and it would not be unlike the modern media to omit such a detail. But I recall the grisly murder last summer of the Hasidic boy in Brooklyn. There were many at the time who felt it was obviously the work of a Muslim. Of course, in that incident the killer turned out to be a seriously disturbed member of the community and himself Jewish.

The article further states that it is unknown if all three shootings are related. Since today’s shooting is so recent the forensic findings may well not be finished yet, or at the very least, just not released yet.

Posted on March 19, 2012 at 7:47amUh…the shootings MO appear to be the same…forensics show the same weapon was used in the first TWO shootings, so…at this TIME they don’t know if all THREE shootings are related.
In a few hours, they’ll have had time to run ballistic tests on the bullets from the 3rd crime scene against those of the first two and will know if all three are related.
