Hackers of the World Unite: Groups Declare Open ‘War’ on Governments and Fat Cats

Lulz Security (Lulzsec) and the Anonymous collective of hackers have declared open cyber warfare against governments, banks, and major corporations, and are calling on all hackers across the globe to join their fight.

Hackers of the World Unite: Groups Declare Open War on Governments and Fat Cats

The Anonymous Logo

Lulzsec posted online that the goal is to expose all ‘dark secrets” and corruption, with a particular emphasis on exposure of government classified information. Lulz laid out the details of the battle plan, so to speak, below:

Welcome to Operation Anti-Security (#AntiSec) – we encourage any vessel, large or small, to open fire on any government or agency that crosses their path. We fully endorse the flaunting of the word “AntiSec” on any government website defacement or physical graffiti art. We encourage you to spread the word of AntiSec far and wide, for it will be remembered. To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.

Lulzsec urges all hackers, even those that have disliked Lulzsec and Anonymous in the past, to accept this mission and show the public the truth about the governments and institutions that the hackers believe are enslaving the rest of the world.

Hackers of the World Unite: Groups Declare Open War on Governments and Fat Cats

Lulz Security Logo

While some in the digital community might welcome this campaign for radical transparency, it remains to be seen who will be targeted, and whether there will be much collateral damage on the cyberspace battlefield.

It also remains to be seen whether the openness Lulz Security and others claim to promote may become a casualty itself, as governments further lock down the digital realm in response to this united hacking effort.

Already, police today arrested a 19-year old UK man for alleged involvement in hacking attacks and membership in Anonymous. More such raids seem certain to follow if there is a surge in hacking activity due to Lulz’s declaration of cyber war.

I don’t understand why some of you would want death to the people who are trying to expose the shady dealings of our government and the banks and companies that are so hell bent on keeping us under their thumbs? If these people were on the “up and up” about what they’re doing, they would have no reason to fear a group like this, nor would there be any reason for a group like this to form. I’ve read most of your posts on other stories here, and the majority of you are against big government and the raking over the coals of the people… so I can’t quite get my head around how the same people would say that this group should be held for treason, spying, etc. and should be put to death. things like the Contra Affair, Watergate, etc. should just remain in the darkness from us? The government who represents us should be allowed to do whatever it wants and keep it from us, just because they’re the government? Just because they make the laws does not mean they are immune from them…

There are hackers that are stupid and just want to create viruses and steal from people. Then there are hackers that understand that the Federal Reserve is the one main reason why this country and the rest of the world are in such financial disorder. If you dont understand that the Federal Reserve, The World Bank and The International Monetary Fund are the fat cat bankers that have brought the world to its financial knees then you need to do some reading. If these hackers really are trying to disrupt THOSE entities I am fine. If they are trying to disrupt those entities that protect us from terrorists I say shoot them. What I have read is that they are going after the FED and the fat cat bankers. I say tear them down. Raid their bank accounts, destroy all of their records. When this countries everyday tax payer is trying to feed their kids and put food on the table and BILLIONS in tax payer dollars are going to the fat cat bankers for BONUSES??? After they ruined the economy?? They get millions upon millions of dollars in bonuses paid by the tax payers for ruining the economy?? Tear them down. Period. If you dont agree. You have a lot to learn.

Ipersonally know people that are loosing their houses because of these bankers. The ones that cannot even prove they own the note on the house. What about Bank of America that tried to take a couples house and the house was already paid off. The Government DEMANDS that you pay taxes then while the bankers are robbing you blind the government gives them YOUR TAX DOLLARS AS A BONUS. People are trying to figure out how to feed their kids and these SOB’s are living like kings off of YOUR TAX DOLLARS. Why exactly arent more people pissed off about this???????????????

Oh and one more thing. Those of you that think Rick Perry is “the savior”. You need to do your research. Go to google and type in Rick Perry Bilderberg. He is a Bilderberg lacky. Bilderberg is the biggest of the fat cat bankers. They control the IMF and the world bank. For GODS SAKE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU VOTE. That is a LARGE part of why we are in so much trouble now. Everyone got that “shiver” up their leg for Obama but they believed what the MSM said. They didnt do their own research. BE INFORMED. Not just by what they tell you but by DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

So, how much of a “clue” do you have about how the Internet works? What about how LulzSec operates? How do they hack into servers, deface, and overwhelm websites? Do you know what a SQL injection attack is? Let me give you a clue: you don’t.

For better or for worse, LulzSec is here, and so far no one has been able to stop them. The arrest this morning that’s mentioned in the article looked promising until they figured out they had the wrong guy.

Regardless of what your opinion is of these guys, one thing is important to remember. They’re in it for the lulz. The laughs. (And the attention). Not money, power, or anarchy. Because of this they have a strong tendency to brag, and they release nearly everything they dig up. There are hackers out there who don’t release, and who are making tons of money stealing identities and selling confidential information. Anything LulzSec can find, so can those hackers (and vice-versa). The difference is, of course, LulzSec brags so much that the companies/government agencies involved know what’s going on and can fix it. That’s huge.

Then there are others who live their pathetic lives vicariously through computer programs, and with nothing better to do they conger up ways to make life miserable for those they don’t even know.
