‘Hadn’t Left Compound in 5 Years’: The Story on Osama bin Laden’s Youngest, Favorite Wife

Amal Ahmed Abdul-Fattah, the youngest, most favored wife of Osama bin Laden, told interrogators that she has not left the compound where her husband was killed in five years. Abdul-Fattah, who was reportedly in the room when bin Laden was shot dead by Navy Seals, was injured in the leg during the raid. She is said to be in her late twenties.

CNN reports:

Osama bin Laden‘s wife has told interrogators she didn’t venture outside the walled compound where the al Qaeda leader was killed for five years, a Pakistani military spokesman said Thursday.

The wife, who was wounded in the raid, said she lived in the compound in Abbottabad with eight of bin Laden’s children and five others from another family, Maj. Gen. Athar Abbas told CNN. All of them have been in Pakistani custody since the pre-dawn U.S. commando raid that killed bin Laden and will be returned to their country of origin, Abbas said.

Abbas said he wasn’t sure from her questioning how long bin Laden had lived there himself or whether he had ventured outside.

Given the length of time that she has lived in the compound, presumably in close proximity to bin Laden, what does this woman know about al Qaeda’s current projects? Its future plans? This information could be invaluable to U.S. intelligence.

But it does not look like the U.S. will have a chance to interrogate Abdul-Fattah. Right now, she is in the custody of Pakistani officials who, apparently, will steer her clear of U.S. interrogators, sending her back to her home country of Yemen after they have finished interrogating her.

    It’s just like the U.S. to make a daring raid into another country, kill and take the body of the evil bastard we were after, escape cleanly with no injuries to our own, then let the jerk water country we went into, keep possible useful subjects away from our interrogator’s.
    We should tell them that we‘ll be picking all of the one’s we want to talk to saturday, morning at 9 a.m. and we expect them all washed and ready for burial, and in the event that they are not ready to be picked up, then the government official’s who are stoping us from getting them, should themselves be washed and ready for burial, but one way or the other the people we want will be leaving with us.
    If the country officials don’t like it, well they’re already washed, so all that’s lacking is a bullet in the head and the burial.

      Seriously now, you’d be surprised what some TLC can do to a woman! Look at the lifeless expression on her face. She’s a young woman, yet she can’t smile. There is no spark in her eyes. And then there’s the shadow of emotional death that covers her in the form of an ever-present black burqa. Very, very sad.

      Back to your reply, the women and children lived in separate quarters. How do I know? For starters, that is what rich, polygamist Muslim b****** do. Second, it is very evident in this case, because UBL had three wives, and there was only one of them with him at the time of the raid.

      When is it going to sink in how primitive and barbaric these men really are? They don’t talk to their wives, and they keep them secluded except like I said before for sex, or to bring their (male) children to see their father. There is no way she could have “listened in” on any of his conversations with other men. All his wives can tell us is generalities about UBL’s life-style. That makes for a good movie, but does not constitute valuable intel.

      Pakistan won‘t secure the compound or the helicopter parts and return them and now won’t allow the U.S. to talk to this wife … HOW MANY BILLIONS OF $$$ DO WE SEND THEM EACH YEAR? .. TIME TO CUT IT OFF .. and as for the compound a 15 minute warning and take it out!

      How healthy was he after so many years on dialysis?
      What was the extent of his renal failure ?

      I know this will be hard to believe but I think a lot of these women are Pakistan and Afghanistan have a natural beauty…it makes me wonder what they would look like if we took them out of this savage environment when they are young and raised them in an advanced western civilization.

      For example…does anybody remember that picture of an Afghan woman on the cover of National Geographic with the beautiful eyes about 30 years ago? She was a HOTTIE!

      When are people going to remember that Pakistan is a Muslim country and that Muslims are instructed in the Koran to lie to infidels (that’s all the rest of us, folks) and guaranteed immunity? Of course they knew he was there!!! That‘s why they weren’t told about the planned raid.

      And the thing that frosts me is that the U.S. is releasing so much information and details. The Pakistanis have turned the compound in to a – wait for it — hold on, hold on – — shrine now. And some blabber mouth announced which body of water they dumped OBL’s remains in, and that now known as the Sea of Martyrs. We should have never announced which body of water it was, or maybe pulled one of their own, and lied about it. We could have said it was the Mashkai River or the Indus. But then again, now that we have established a precedent, why don’t we add a few more martyrs?
