Halloween at the White House Includes M&Ms, Sugar Cookies and Yes — Dried Fruit

The normally pristine White House will be alight with cobwebs and jack-o-lanterns Saturday evening when the First Family welcomes trick-or-treaters for some Halloween fun.
What can the costumed masses expect to stuff into their pillowcases and plastic pumpkin carriers? The Obamas will pass out an array of goodies, ranging from M&Ms with the presidential seal to White House-shaped sugar cookies covered in orange icing — and of course, plenty of banana chips, apricots, pineapple and raisins.
Recall the president’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” earlier this week when he mused that the White House might get “egged” if the first lady plied Halloween goody bags only with raisins and fruit.
Students from local Washington, D.C.-area schools and the Boys and Girls Club of America will be among the trick-or-treaters, and children from military families will be invited to a special Halloween party inside the White House.
As participants make their way across the White House lawn they’ll be entertained by the Marine Band playing Halloween music and could get a scare or two from in-costume actors from Washington-area theaters.

I told them I cry too every April 15 when he takes half of mine. Irate parents, angry phone calls. But it was worth it.

I give her credit for trying to look her best while part of the vapid Hollywood looks matter crowd. It her policies which I think deserve a wide load of criticism. Have never recovered from the Angela Davis “fist in the air” mean look in her eye photo of her from 2008 campaign. Should have noticed the Far Left similarities .
