Haunted? UK Family Says This Video Shows Poltergeist Terrorizing Home

The video will give anyone who believes in ghosts, spirits, or demons a chill. A family in the UK captured video a few weeks ago of what it says is a poltergeist haunting their Coventry home. In the video, a wardrobe door can be seen swinging open before something drags a pink chair across the floor:
The Coventry Telegraph says the haunting has gotten so bad the family has been forced to move out. Lisa Manning, her children Ellie and Jayden, and her partner Anthony say that they’ve seen pots and pans thrown across the room, blinds moving up and down, as well as lights turning on and off.
The Manning’s case resembles another alleged haunting in Hull, East Yorkshire. There, according to the Daily Mail, 31-year-old Emma Keeitch and her family say they too are being terrorized by a poltergeist — a presence so disturbing it even has ghost experts freaked out.
The Mail reports the Keeitch clan has also moved out of their house after a series of strange events, the scariest of which included entering the bathroom, looking up at the window, and seeing the word “move”:
Paranormal psychic Steve Kneeshaw said: ‘I have done many investigations but this is the worst one yet – it even freaked me out.
‘It was a very intense evening and some of what happened was totally bizarre.
Emma and her boyfriend, Jamie Owen, 25, left their home with their four-month-old daughter Pheobie after waking up and seeing the message on their bedroom window.
She claimed that poltergeists had switched on stereos, spun pictures that were hung on walls and even threw a plank of wood into a bin.
She said: ‘I’ve never believed in ghosts and always been very skeptical. But what has happened to us is too much – we just can’t stay here any longer.
‘We have tried to explain it away. You can blame the electrics or a draft for some things but not everything.
One of the investigators, Kellie Taylor, said that she was slapped across the face by one of the spirits causing her to flee.
As they continued to look around the house a television remote was thrown across the room and bedding moved by itself.
‘The house is definitely haunted and has poltergeist activity,” Elliot Ainley, who studied the homes strange happenings, writes in a report. He says “there are two spirits haunting the house — that of a mother and that of a baby.”
‘The mother spirit seems particularly angry, probably at the way she died, which is why objects are being thrown about,” he writes. “We decided to do some glass divination, during which Kellie had her face seemingly lightly slapped by a spirit hand.”
Ainley believes the spirits’ names are Rachel and Sarah: “They appear to have both died quickly and tragically.”
Keeitch has now reportedly called in an exorcist from the Church of England.

Report Post »I won’t discredit the paranormal–anything is possible. Not everything can be explained through natural phenomena or overly active imagination. I reserve judgment even though I lean toward skepticism. However, I’ve never been in that situation–I would probably be looked at with ‘rolling eyes’, too should I relate such encounters.

I would like to see two camera angles, next all the crap on the floor moved, and one camera aimed down on the floor. From What I saw there is most likley string tied to the door the chair. You can hear someone in the background coughing if they were in the room when this happen why did they not say something. This is just a fake video just like most of the Paranormal Shows out there

Posted on April 15, 2011 at 3:58pmThis video seem a big contrived, I suspect fishing line. However, I have seen things in my home and in my mother’s home that cannot be explained. Things got so bad two weeks ago that I actually got holy water and said a prayer in my home. Nothing has ever moved in my house, it is more of voices and strange shadows or things that I call “ghost lights” they look like blue streaks flying across the room rapidly (kinda like a glow stick, just thinner). My husband was a skeptic until one night he heard the voices for himself and saw a shadow above our bed.. It freaked him out big time.

Posted on April 15, 2011 at 4:58pmActually, Ghost Hunters are a joke…I used to investigate haunted places all the time (before they ever had the TV show) & I always got WAY more on my digital recorder & pics than they ever have. Ghost Adventures, now there are some really cool dudes and they get all kinds of stuff…of course, they only investigate places where humans have been touched, had things thrown at them, etc. I watch them every Friday on the Travel Channel. Btw, I have lived in haunted houses…in fact, there is a female spirit in the house where I currently live & I see her shadow occasionally…she also likes to turn on the TV & lights in the spare bedroom.

(had a hard time believing in it for a LONG time until I experienced some things that could not be explained away.) But…what’s up with the background noise going on there? Sounds like someone is standing there filming it which makes it suspect.

I agree, the background noises make it suspect, and I have seen enough video tricks to know you can’t believe everything you see. You can’t see the bottom legs of the chair, who knows if there isn’t a rope or string attached pulling it?
Having said that, I too know of a house which is said to be haunted. I‘ve never witnessed it but I’ve heard from neighbors. It belonged to my Aunt and Uncle, he commited suicide when I was 14 and she died two years later of RA. Since they died the house has been sold several times and the neighbors tell my cousin that everyone who buys it says its haunted and they can’t stay there. I believe its vacant now.
