‘Have You Ever Had Sex With Rick Perry?’ Ron Paul Supporter Behind Racy New Ad Talks With The Blaze

Politics can be a dirty game. During campaign seasons, both sides of the political aisle dig with fervor to find any and all personal information that they can be used to bring down their opponents. Even the media engage in this sometimes reckless activity, as evidenced in the pouring over of Sarah Palin’s personal e-mails.
But a bizarre political move by a Ron Paul supporter tops the charts when it comes to over-the-top political antics. Robert Morrow, 47, of Austin, Texas is looking for information that could hurt Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential prospects. To accomplish this goal, Morrow, who describes himself as a “self-employed investor and political activist,” has taken out a full-page advertisement in this week’s Austin Chronicle.
The ad boldly asks, ”Have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?” It continues: “Are you a stripper, an escort, or just a ‘young hottie’ impressed by an arrogant, entitled governor of Texas? Contact CASH, and we will help you publicize your direct dealings with a Christian-buzzwords-spouting, ‘family values’ hypocrite and fraud.”
At the bottom of the ad, a curious line appears: “Note to gay people: If you know the truth about Rick, please QUIT covering for him.” Of course, the rumor that Perry, who is not supportive of same-sex marriage, is, himself, gay has never been substantiated. On the extramarital affair front, Justin Elliott of Salon writes:
To be clear, there is absolutely no evidence that Perry has had extramarital affairs. But Morrow has written a screed, currently circulating online, that denounces Perry both for his policies (it labels him a “crony capitalist” and a “Neocon”) as well as his alleged dalliances.
Morrow claims that he knows strippers in Austin who have stories about Perry, but none of them are willing to come forward to the press; hence, the need for an ad in the Chronicle. “I think it’s only a matter of time until somebody credible comes forward,” he told me.
In a phone interview on Thursday morning, Morrow told The Blaze that only one stripper has come to him staking the claim that she slept with the governor “a few years ago.” When asked how he found the stripper, he said:
“[Rick Perry's] entourage and I like the same women. I’m not sure how much clearer I can be. I don’t really have much in common with Rick Perry…but one of the things we do have in common is strippers. You know, the young hotties — and I’ll leave it at that. [...]
There’s no doubt that Rick Perry has been running around with strippers, hookers and hotties.”
Syncing with Elliot’s report, Morrow claims that no one, aside from the sole stripper (who he didn’t name), has come forward yet to prove his theories that Perry is a womanizer and/or a homosexual (he believes both of these ideals to be true).
In a recent article, Morrow referred to Perry as “political herpes” and railed against the governor’s alleged adultery (again, a totally unsubstantiated claim). Additionally, Morrow believes that the governor exploits faith and religion for personal gain. Morrow sums his policy disagreements with Perry up as follows:
Nor does Perry understand or appreciate free market capitalism and the importance of low taxes for all; Perry is a crony capitalist and he likes to spend and borrow lots of money. Perry does not respect parental rights (HPV mandate).Rick Perry, a 25 year career politician, is for the endless, costly undeclared wars; he is for an unaccountable Federal Reserve banking cartel making multi-trillion dollar interventions in a free market; he is for the Patriot Act and its assault on your privacy.
Having political differences with a candidate is one thing, but taking out an advertisement in search of past sexual encounters is, well, an entirely different beast. Aside from the embarrassment this ad will likely cause, there is a good chance — as there always is when public figures are at the center of controversies like this — that individuals with no true ties to Perry will come forward with wild allegations.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Morrow has been engaged in wild attack campaigns. As Elliot reports, he paid for and personally voiced a robocall in South Carolina back in 2008. Intended to defame Hillary Clinton, the message claimed that “Hillary knew about and helped cover up Bill’s rape of Juanita Broderick.” Listen to the call, below:
That ad was simply par for the course, it seems. The entire incident is oddly reminiscent of a 2010 article by Beau Friedlander that offered a $100,000 bounty for proof of a Glenn Beck sex tape. The bizarre antics never seem to end.
Note: During a second interview with The Blaze, Morrow clarified that he has spoken with three women in the past who have claimed that Perry and his “entourage” are tied to strippers and “escorts.” None of these women were responding to the advertisement that was printed in the Austin Chronicle; they had come to him previously with these allegations.

Most of the time they pose as supporters of other candidates. In this instance it would be killing two republican birds with one stone, Perry with the accusations and Paul, who is a fine and trust worthy man, because they were made ostensibly by supporter/s.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 1:23pmMarci, when neo-cons understood that Liberty is popular, that Ron Paul was right on many things, criticizing RP became a bad tactic. Instead the shills parrot Trump line “Oh, we like Ron Paul, but he can’t win“ or ”I like some of Ron Paul ideas, but his supporters are just crazy and racist.”
It reminds me anti-Semites who always start with “I am not against Jews, I even have some Jewish friends. I just hate Zionists.”
Ron Paul would not be so important as a person (beside his venerable voting record and tireless education effort) if not for
1) His understanding of economy and monetary policy is proven to be correct – Austrian school of economics is not taught in our universities (except few) since New Deal.
2) Ron Paul is the only politician who does not want to “run” the economy, the world or our lives. The rest does and compete who is more “able”, “strong”, “experienced” or “honest.” Free people do not want to be ruled by nobody. They need government only to protect the borders and their liberties.

It just seems that they take the phrase “The squeeky wheel gets all the oil” to a whole new level. They are always the ones with the innopropriate outbursts always escalating and getting violent. The hannity outting with Ron paul supporters where they started throwing things at him is a prime example. Liberal activists do the same thing, i wouldnt have to look hard or far to find an example of them getting out of control. GLOBAL WARMING SUMMIT anyone???????
It seems that if its not RON PAUL then it can be no one. Well i happen to think that ron paul is a nutjob and would be a terrible president for reason which I have stated a thousand times before. I guess you have polled everyone in the United States to know for certain that Ron Paul supporters are not the majority?
Interestingly enough, what you propose is true: It is Ron Paul or bust.
No other politician can be trusted, they all flip flop based on personal interest. Ron Paul has had the same solid argument for years, and the things he predicted happened.
The funny part about all of this, is people on here scream ‘Anyone but Obama’.
Ron Paul people understand wholeheartedly that most, if not all excluding Ron Paul are bought. Supported Perry, or Bachmann will lead to the same result as if voting for Obama, just at a slower rate.
Many people are sick of the establishment, they are not looking for a “Republican” to save them, since “Republicans” have always failed in the past, they are looking for real solutions. The days of the “Christian Loving War Mongering Conservative party are over”, you can see the writing on the wall.
Regardless, you implied it yourself: “Ron Paul people will only vote for Ron Paul!”.
Well if you wanted to beat Obama, wouldn’t you like to hold on to those votes? I thought this whole campaign was about “Anyone but Obama?”.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 6:41pmWhether there is anything to this or not does not matter in the least to me. I have very real concerns with Rick Perry and from what I am seeing, Perry is not electable. He will not lift one finger to secure our borders, is a committed globalist. If you think George Bush was a bad President Rick Perry is going to be ten times worse. Are we going to elect someone who really will fix our many and deep problems and follow the constitution or are we going to be swindled into electing a total fraud like Rick Perry that is the question.

Although Ron Paul had no control over this, his campaign should contact this guy and let him know it does Ron no favors. In turn the guy should post a public apology to Rick Perry. To openly solicit hookers and strippers to “tell their story” for cash will just get a bunch of hookers and strippers doing what they do best, lie.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 6:57pm@101 I can agree to your point as to why the media now brings this guy up now that he associates it with RP just get get the attention. I read into the things he complains about and ALL of them are highly sceptical views and there are 2 sides to each story. He spins eveything he gets his hands on and when you look deeper into the cases he discuses there was either facts he left out or just fear mongering with phrases like GOV perry wants to put a needle in your daughters arm. This was not the case, it was presented as though it was.
But I cant help but say its weird but i see quite a bit of you RP followers taunting the SAME spin a few weeks back when perry was thought to be a potential canidate for presidency. The Needle thing came out, the Bilderburg conspiricy came out. Yet not one of you know the truth behind the Bilderburg meetings because they are held in secret so im sure its the worst thing that a person can go to. I have seen the lists of attendees, the only thing they make public. The stance of the individual isnt known on any particular issue their either. Might be a good thing to have our influential people there to make sure we know what is going on.

Posted on August 19, 2011 at 10:22amThese campaigns get very heated and tactics like this Morrow guy is doing are common place in today’s political world. That does in no way make it any less despicable. I do not like Rick Perry and sincerely hope he is defeated soundly and while there are many things I like about Ron Paul I hope he is defeated soundly as well. That said for those of us who blame Ron Paul for what this lone wolf supporter has done we need to reread the story and there is no evidence that Ron Paul’s official campaign had anything to do with this ad being taken out, or for that matter there is no evidence that Ron Paul knew beforehand that this ad was going to be taken out. I believe that we as voters should be as fair minded with those we do not support or vehemently disagree with as we are to those we passionately support. If you as a supporter will do this you then have much more influence on those whose opinions you hope to persuade. That is all that I am saying is we should take more time to get all the facts before we attack someone for what one of their supporters have done. No Presidential candidate has enough control over their supporters to keep some from doing stupid things and we as voters need to realize this, otherwise we are just as bad as the far left media that purposely and deliberately uses every bit of sleaze and unsubstantiated allegations to discredit anyone who challenges their messiah.
We as a people have become too easily persuaded by deliberate distortions.

I realize that its just one supporter, but there is a long pattern of supporters that do and act the same crazy azz way. It gets to a point that you ask yourself, “why do all these wack jobs support RP?”
I said the same thing about obummer and the folks that he hung out with and that supported him. “If you lay with dogs, you’re going to get fleas” One judge of a person is the company they keep, and I don’t care for the people that support RP, then add some of the wacky statements made by RP that I may have been able to ignored except for the connection to the crazy people that echo their support and his crazy statements.

And a pig came up and lay down by my side.
Then I lay there in the gutter and my heart was all a-flutter,
Till a lady, passing by, did chance to say:
“You can tell a man that boozes by the company he chooses,”
Then the pig got up and slowly walked away.
I hate to say it but Ron Paul supporters are pushing me further away from him. Ron Paul NEEDS to come out and denounce this guy. Makes no sense to me, and they all ought to crawl back into whatever hole they’ve crawled out of! Shame on you, if you have any shame, that is.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 3:55pmBecause they believe that THEIR guy is the only one who can save us, so they must destroy anyone else who could win instead. We have a three-way existential battle where the winners will have to keep the nation from destroying itself one neighbor against the other. Ron Paul‘s rhetoric is so divisive I don’t think he could lead in that case.

Thanks to Pauls‘ supporters he won’t get my vote, and I‘m sure they will be the reason he doesn’t get close to the nomination. You Paul supporters are crazy and you need to crawl back into the hole under the asylem you crawled out of.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 12:45pmI actually agree with Paul on alot of things, but he should either drop out or come and condemn anyone of his supporters that would doi this. Bigger question for real is how do we know it was Paul’s supporters. The campaign actual resembles something BSNBC WOULD DO.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 1:06pmI would love to see Ron Paul as VP actually. More so than anyone else running and maybe even with Allen West or Marco Rubio. As VP he would make a great advisor to keep the President constitutional.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 1:58pmAlthough it scares me to think of Ron Paul being the Commander in Chief, I actually agree with him on Iran…in principle…Though I also stand with Israel and would defend her till the last…So yeah, that is a conflict…
But what really scares me is what he said about terrorists having the rights of citizens…That one really bothers me.
Look, I respect the hell out of Ron Paul. He is an ideologue and stands on principle despite reason. This is great, this has its place. Something is either constitutional or it is not. But sometimes a president has to cross those lines. Sometimes reason must overcome ideology. I believe, as a Christian, that I should not murder. Especially in cold blood. But would I torture to the point of death someone who had the information I needed to save non-combatants? You betcha! In a heartbeat. Likewise, I would steal the medicine I needed to save my kid even knowing it is wrong and against God’s commandments. I know I should instead trust in Him to provide…But I am human. I would steal it.
Ideologically I like where Ron Paul stands. But abortion is still murder and needs to be against the law. Iran is still an evil power that must be prevented from having the ability to start WWIII. Terrorists are not US citizens and do not have any rights under our Constitution. We are a rich country and while socialism is no choice for the overall economy, we still need a safety net for the poor, the unemployed, and the old.

He doesn’t imply that Terrorists should have the rights as citizens, his argument is deeper.
In order to be a terrorist you have to be convicted as one, needing a trial. If not, your not a proven terrorist.
I understand your concern, but what your interpreting is media distortion. What if the government assumed your neighbor was a terrorist, and had him arrested without a trial?
Ron Paul does not support Terrorists, he just doesn’t support letting the government claim anyone to be a terrorist without some kind of evidence.
The biggest irony in this whole ordeal is, many blazers think “Terrorists don’t need a trial!”
Really? Why did we put Nazis on trial then? Nazis did many more evil acts, and they received trials, so why not try terrorists?

I don’t know why this man is so angry with Rick Perry but he sure seems upset about a “titty bar tax ($5/patron)” on strip clubs that Perry had been pushing for.
