Have You Heard Herman Cain’s 1996 Gospel Album?

When you toss your hat into the political ring, especially on a national level, the media and your opponents will scour your history looking for anything in your background that might give them an advantage. Back in 1996, Herman Cain recorded a gospel music album called “Sunday Morning” and it has just popped up on the Internet.
A Cain spokesperson confirmed to TPM the tracks are legitimate, and said they were released by an independent, pro-Cain website.
So, is this a good thing or a bad thing for the candidate? Before you decide, sample the music:
Herman Cain was a successful CEO and hopes to bring his management and leadership skills to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And if he wins the GOP nomination and the 2012 election, he could also bring a great singing voice to the White House.

Nothing wrong with priasing the Lord, especially when you’ve been blessed with a voice like his.
I would like to hear him lead the Nation in the singing of the National Anthem Jan 2013.

If Herman Cain finds himself in the Oval Office, not only will he be able to recite the pledge, he will also be able to sing the national anthem.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 2:40pmMaybe we will get to hear him sing the National Anthem someday! Nice voice is right! At least we KNOW he isn’t a Muslim extremist like someone else we know is! (a lying Muslim Extremist, that is) (head-shaking sadly here)

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 8:00pmAt least the man believes in God! Much better than having a person that sat for twenty years istening to his pastor saying, ” God-damend- America!” and then throw him under the bus when it became politically uncomfortable.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 9:44pmWow! This is wonderful. Takes a man who loves and worships the Lord to run this Country the right way. Sure different from the pretend Christian in the White House now. Now wait, I’m not judging his belief, I‘m simply saying anyone who lies about everything couldn’t have Jesus in his heart, very much.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 9:32amI’m loving me some Herman Cain. I think this guy is interesting, fun, and puts it all out there on display.
Just like Obama put out there his socialist views and anyone who did their homework would know what they were getting. Why is it not okay to discover that Herman has spiritual roots? He says it over and over anyway! Is it a surprise to find out? I think he is just being true to his own beliefs. And how fun is it that he can belt it out? Fantastic!
I prefer gospel hymns to a soundtrack from Rocky or Rambo (the Commie martial music bad guy tracks).

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 2:47pm-You know, I have felt that Mr Cain is very substantial, but this just increased my esteem of him. Not only does he ‘get’ GOD, but he ‘gets’ work. My only concern is that I have been really feeling like we need to have another General George Washington in the Oval office- someone that has led men, fought for America, and knows GOD. I, therefore, only want to see Mr Cain’s military record. I have previously stated that I will ONLY vote for whomever calls publicly for the impeachment of Obama, but I feel I am being swayed a little, at least, here.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 6:31pmI have loved Herman Cain since my hubby and I met him back in 2004, during the Fair Tax debate, shortly after Neil Boortz came out with his book. I sang the national anthem at our Fair Tax Conference, where we got Herman Cain to be keynote speaker for the event. Afterwards, my hubby and I had our pics taken with him (so personable, just like another Ronald Reagan). However, in all of our conversation and even, 7 years later, after having seen him again at a tea party, only a few days before his announcement to run for the presidency, I cannot believe that he remembered me when we walked up to his booth after the tea party was over. To this day, I am impressed, not only by the man’s wit, humor, business prowess, knowledge and warmth of personality; but his talent, as well! Thanks, Herman, for surprising us more and more with what we need in the White House — a man of God.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 2:20pmYES, unfortunately, Cain’s association with the PRIVATE BANKING ENTITY CALLED THE FEDERAL RESERVE is EXTREMELY TROUBLING. Read the book, “The Creature from Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin. Educate yourself about this extremely powerful, secretive, entity that controls OUR money. The creation of the Fed is an affront and egregious violation of the Constitution whereby the Founders intended that Congress have the power to coin, and control, money. Since their power was usurped, back in 1913 via a fiscal crisis created by the very banks who then seized control, WE THE PEOPLE have had no control over our money. WHY? Because we lost the ability to elect or remove the people who control our money.
Geez, why can’t people GET THIS and wake up to the reality that this bogus and self-serving private bank controls our government??? The Fed creates the boom/bust cycles of our economy. The Fed just bailed out the BIG BANKS, mostly EUROPEAN banks, during the financial crisis.
The FED is responsible for our FIAT money system. Fiat meaning that for every one dollar they create, nine more dollars are also created, out of thin air! Nixon took us off the GOLD STANDARD in 1972. Since the, we have had virtually nothing tangible to back the dollar. Only the “full faith and credit of the United States government.”
And, Cain doesn’t think the Fed needs to be audited. They do a good job of that themselves. Yeah, right. Fox guarding the hen house baby.

Posted on July 13, 2011 at 2:42amCain worked for the FED for 4 years from 1992-1996 under Greenspan at the most conservative branch of the Federal Reserve. Ron Paul has worked in Congress for 30 years. If you want to associate Cain with the Reserve based on fours years, then Paul should be far more associated with the actions of Congress and everything that they’ve done since the 1980s. Interesting, we did not even have a major deficit until the 1980s.

Posted on July 13, 2011 at 8:30amWas! I suspect that he did not stay on was because he did not what he saw going on. There have been many members of the Fed since 1913. A friend of the family joined the Philly Fed during the Depression Of 1932 under president Hoover. I can vividly recall him privately railing on about his experiences at the Philly Fed from ‘33-’37. As a very noted CPA and arch Republican he never got over the crap he had to swallow. There are a lot of folks at the Fed. Many just do not care for what is going on. Most see themselves as tiny counterweights to the crazies at the top. If you think things are bad now, just kick out all the dedicated sane troopers in the trenches and literally see all Hell break loose.

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 8:01amwatch what the left does with this. The MSM will run wild with it. They call Sharpton and Jackson reverend (which is a joke), and no complaint from the left because of their so called religion. Real-deal christianity on the other hand they can not stand. They wanted to crush Palin because of her church being charismatic, but then discovered that much of black America attended charismatic churches, and had to back step.
Remember years ago when the left went wild for Slick Willie playing his sax on MTV?
