Hear the 9-1-1 Calls Two College Students Made When a Convicted Rapist Allegedly Held Their Roommates at Knife Point

Authorities in Washington have released the 911 recordings two female University of Washington students made when a convicted rapist allegedly held their six female roommates hostage with a knife during a home invasion — two months after he got out of prison.
Robert Hitt allegedly broke into the women’s home around 3:30 a.m. March 5. That’s when police say he held the six women at knife point, not knowing there were two other women in the home, hiding and calling 911.
According to Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO-TV, the first call came from a downstairs bedroom, with the caller whispering there was someone in her home and that she’d heard her roommate scream.
“I can hear her still. It sounds like she’s alright, but it sounds like he‘s harassing her so I’m scared for her,” the caller said.
Another call came in moments later, this time from upstairs. Neither woman said they knew who the man was.
While on the phone with the 911 dispatcher, one of the women said she heard him threatening the roommates downstairs, and heard the sound of ripping duct tape.
“[He said] I’ll stab you,” she said. “He’s taping her. He’s taping her somewhere. I‘m worried he’s going to come find me.”
Police arrived within minutes and arrested Hitt, KOMO reported. None of the women were physically injured, though one woman was allegedly forced to remove her clothes.
Hitt was charged with nine felonies, including kidnapping and robbery, and faces a life sentence if convicted.
According to ABC News, Hitt had just been released from prison in January after serving a 10-year sentence for first-degree rape.

OR, they could take him out and hang him from some nice sturdy tree in the UW Arboretum. The hemp cure really does work in cases like this.

If convicted of premeditated murder, kidnapping and/or rape, put them on death row for 30 days, giving them opportunity to get their soul right with God, then end their earthly life. LET’S RETURN TO MAKING THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME. Letting these guys loose when they’re not rehabilitated means more horror ahead. Back to common sense, when the law had teeth and the whole Justice Dept worked more with preventive maintenance than with repairs and needless funerals.

Forget all of the drivel that you are taught by your marxist professors, more guns in civilian hands save lives. They are extremely effective in positively sizing up women versus rapists. I recommend that that these women get their concealed carry permits and carry! Avoid place that you cannot carry, you are a volunteer victim there. For your home I recommend the ultimate conversation stopper, a shotgun. I like the Saiga 12 and Mossberg with an AR-15 style butt, they are great for ladies and recoil averse men like me. Many think of that case when you read something like this and we never believe how somethine like that happened. I think sometimes we leave our guard down when we are in numbers. If one of these girls (provided they were old enough) would have had a sidearm concealed on their person this CONVICTED RAPIST would be transported to the nearest coroners office and laid on a slab where he belongs, not being rehabilitated. Women, especially in this day and age we live in, need to carry a pistol to protect themselves and as we see in this case, protect their friends from serious bodily harm or death. CONCEALED CARRY LICENSEES SAVE LIVES!

Posted on March 15, 2012 at 2:26pmYou are reaching here. This happened where they live at 3:30AM. No CCW was needed. They just needed to own a firearm, have it in reach of where they sleep but hidden.
They also needed to be trained in its use and be mentally capable and willing to use it. When your roommate has a knife at her throat it is hard to make the decision to shoot and take a chance with your friends life. Not too mention, if it was not hidden well enough…they’d of had a rapist armed with a firearm, rather than a knife.
The only thing that saved them “this” time is the number of potential victims…the extra time he had to take gathering them up, intimidating them, secure them…gave the police the time they needed to respond.

There is a very strong case for concealed carry and the relaxation of insanely overzealous gun laws. This particular incident just isn’t a part of that argument though.
