Here Are 5 Christian Companies That Join Chick-fil-A in Publicly-Proclaiming Their Bible-Based Views

Chick-fil-A isn’t the only company willing to share its Christian faith with the world. While attaching a specific religious view to a product or service holds the potential to turn a portion of consumers off, some business leaders and companies stick to their values and intentionally include them in their packaging and messaging. Some of these brands include: Forever 21, Interstate Battery, Tyson Foods, In-N-Out Burger and Hobby Lobby.

5 Companies Like Chick fil A That Share Their Christian Faith

Forever 21:  Forever 21 is a clothing store that was founded by Don and Jin Chang, devout Christians who moved to America from Korea in 1981. The small store they opened in Los Angeles in 1984 has grown into a mass business comprised of hundreds of locations across the globe.

On the bottom of each bag, shoppers will find “John 3:16,” the popular Bible verse that reads, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Interstate Battery: Norm Miller, chairman of Interstate Batteries, a company that sells — you guessed it, batteries — is also a believer who discusses his faith and salvation publicly. In fact, he even takes to the company’s web site to invite customers and visitors to write to him for prayer advice.

“Norm Miller is also a believer in God’s power to change lives, because it was that power that turned his own life around after years of drinking as hard as he worked,” reads Miller’s personal testimony on Interstate Batteries’ web site.

But, the company goes well beyond merely mentioning God. Miller encourages everyone to accept Jesus Christ as personal savior — a central tenet of the Christian faith. Here’s more from the site:

You can accept Him right now, just like I did, by repeating this prayer and making it the commitment of your heart. Just pray…

“Dear God, I want freedom from the slavery of my sin. I believe Jesus is the Truth, and I accept Him now as my Lord and Savior. I ask you for forgiveness of my sins, because He paid for them for me. Please give me the power to live a life pleasing to You. Thank you for this gift of new and eternal life in Christ! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

If you prayed this prayer, I’d like to send you some additional information that will help you grow in your understanding of Christianity and in your faith in God. Write to: Norm Miller, “Growth,” 12770 Merit Dr. Suite 1000, Dallas, Texas 75251.

5 Companies Like Chick fil A That Share Their Christian Faith

Tyson Foods: Tyson, yet another company that refuses to hide its faith, offers employees chaplain services at plants across America. If people are saddened after the loss of a loved one or coping with a family emergency, these individuals are brought in to pray and assist those in need with coping.

John H. Tyson, the current chairman of the company, is a born-again Christian who believes his values shouldn‘t be pushed to the side when he enters Tyson’s doors.

“My faith is just an ongoing evolution, trying to understand what faith in the marketplace looks like, giving people permission to live their faith seven days a week,” Tyson said back in 2010. “If people can talk about the football game on Monday, why can’t they talk about their faith?”

Tyson Foods is also known for donating mass amounts of food to America’s poor.

5 Companies Like Chick fil A That Share Their Christian Faith

In-N-Out Burger: Much like Forever 21, In-N-Out Burger, a fast-food chain based in California, uses John 3:16 as a way to advertise its faith. In fact, the company places the popular verse on the bottom of cups. Here’s what 11Alive.com reports about the popular business:

Western U.S. burger chain In-N-Out has printed citations of Bible passages on cups, wrappers and other pieces of packaging since at least the late 1980s. For instance, “John 3:16″ appears on the bottom of soft drink cups, a reference to the Bible passage…

Hobby Lobby: Last, but not least, is Hobby Lobby, an Oklahoma City-based crafts store chain that very-openly embraces Christianity. Like Chick-fil-A, the company closes its more than 500 stories on Sundays and vocally mentions God on its web site. Here are just a few of the proclamations presented Hobby Lobby’s statement of purpose:

Honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with Biblical principles. [...]

Providing a return on the owners’ investment, sharing the Lord’s blessings with our employees, and investing in our community.

We believe that it is by God’s grace and provision that Hobby Lobby has endured. He has been faithful in the past, we trust Him for our future.

As TheBlaze recently reported, Hobby Lobby’s owners are also preparing to build a Bible museum in Washington, D.C., just blocks away from the National Mall. The museum, which is currently being organized, planned and designed, will provide visitors with thousands of Biblical artifacts along with a better understanding of the Old and New Testaments.

5 Companies Like Chick fil A That Share Their Christian Faith

While these certainly aren’t the only Christian companies out there, they are some of the most notable. Do you know of any other faith-based businesses that operate at the national level? Feel free to tell us about them in the comments section and we may include them in a future edition of “5 Christian Companies That Publicly-Proclaim Their Christian Faith.”

I support all of these companies and I suggest everyone do the same. If the progressives who complain about these companies (or any belief but their’s), then they should take their hatred across the pond to somewhere like Iran. I‘m sure the mullah’s would welcome these progressives with open arms…just before throwing them in prison or making them dissappear.

The corridor from Washington DC to Boston has the lowest number of christians in the country. Mostly former catholics. Thus it is a great area for evangelicals to send missionaries. Also that corridor holds one third of the US population. And a third of all universities.

Also the homosexuals and lesbians plan to have a kiss in day at Chick-fil-A Friday. It is typical of them, very childish. Ever notice that most homosexuals seem to act in an immature manner like a bunch of teenagers? The kiss-in is more about getting in your face, sort of like a teenager trying to get adults angry. And homosexuals wonder why the adults in society treat them like children?

      @ MECANIC:
I think you are mistaken. Tyson NEVER DISCRIMINATES but continue to uphold their VALUES AND MORALS. However, they will NOT tolerate the force of the gospel upon other employees. AND, they do not allow you to stop working to perform any religious rituals you may have (bowing to the East/Mecca at noon, etc.). If you want to work there, IT WILL BE YOUR CHARACTER THAT GETS AND ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP YOU JOB – NOT YOUR RELIGION, SEXUAL PREFERENCE, ETC. It is a very, very DECENT company to work for. But, they will NOT bend to outside influence either.

SiToNiTsOrOs1 says, [liberals] “should take their hatred across the pond to somewhere like Iran…” Boy are you confused. Iran is a theocracy and bans same-sex marriage based on the religious beliefs of their mullahs. You folks are trying to impose religious laws on others who don’t share your beliefs, just like they do in Iran. You got that exactly backwards.

No matter, for a list of companies that SUPPORT gay marriage, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supporters_of_same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States

Skimmer 57, Chick Fil A doesn’t refuse to serve gay people, so why should it refuse to serve adulterers. And how would they even know if they were adulterers – check marriage licenses. Try to get this through your head. Christians are taught to hate the sin and love the sinner, which means they aren‘t going to try to kill or physically hurt or ostracize those who don’t agree, but they also aren‘t going to say that what they consider sinful is just fine so that a person’s or group‘s feelings aren’t hurt.

@mecanic: Please, do a simple search before you post your comments for everyone to see. Your comment was wrong, and might sway opinion which is not very astute. You’re absolutely incorrect on Tyson supporting islam. To the contrary, they were SUED by islam and a group of Somalis. I think this happened on several occasions. Tyson is a true Equal Opportunity Employer. They hired people knowing they might be of another faith without prejudice and got burned for that. I don’t know if as a Christian I would be able to do that myself.

I also won’t be boycotting any stores. I understand and don’t blame anyone for doing that though. I have a select few places I shop at and eat at so it’s not a big deal for me.

Another business we no longer support is McDonald’s and Levis. We are not comfortable with McDonald’s advertisements pushing a homosexual agenda in places like France with the adolescent crowd. The ad we saw meant for it to be a shocking revelation. It was underhanded and acted as though all kids have secrets from their parents. As far as Levis, they promote violence in their most “epic” commercial. I just can’t support riots, it destroys peoples lives and it is not God’s way.

I understand some of you NOT wanting to do business with companies such as JC Penny, Target, etc. Perfectly within your right to do so. However, isn’t a little tit for tat? “You boycott a company that shares my values? Fine, I’ll boycott a company that shares YOUR values?”

Boycotts do nothing except make a lot of noise with little impact on the financials of a business.

Example: Chic-Fil-A. Probably broke the record yesterday for a single day of business.

“We live in a free country, so we have the right to do just about whatever we want — within the boundaries of the laws of the land and our personal convictions. Despite what we’ve been led to believe, politics is not everything, so why do so many of us (including the conservative anti-Oreo cookie crowd) feel compelled to politicize everything, including businesses? ” -Susan Brown

I don’t oppose “same sex marriage” (an oxymoron) on the basis of my religious beliefs, but because it’s absolutely contrary to the laws of nature.

Homosexuals and liberals trying to forcefully radicalize the definition of marrige defies natural laws. There’s no such thing as a right to “marry” someone of the same gender. RIGHTS ARE NATURAL. Homosexuals and liberals seek SPECIAL PRIVELAGES and special treatment. There is in our human species only two genders, man and woman. Males were made to mate with females, wherefore a man has a right to marry a woman, likewise the woman has a right to marry a man. We don’t need a Government or any man made laws to tell us that a man may marry a woman. THAT’S NATURAL. I oppose these radical homosexuals as much as I would oppose any adulterer who would seek special privelages or treatment for having a wife, kids, and yet sleeping around with many other women. We don‘t need a Government to tell us that it’s wrong to murder, that’s already in us to know such things. These are natural LAWS. They’re never changing or evolving. Since a man has a right to marry a woman, he also has a right to have and raise kids. We also have natural duties. That is, even if no Government existed, my neighbor may not come to my house and take my life. We have a duty to respect life. Likewise, no man, having a child, may abandon his son, and never take responsiblity for his child’s health and well being. These things are NATURAL.

We as a christian nation should have an Amendment to the constitution defining marriage. Then it would have to ratified by the each state. And if each state wants to they can hold a referendum on the issue and let their citizens vote on if it should be ratified. The when 38 states ratify it, it is the law of the land. And as we saw in California (until the minority left wing commie judges stepped in) , the liberal of liberalest states, such ratification would take place and then we can tell the homosexual agenda to get out of our schools, stay out of our daily lives, and go back in the closet, no one wants to see your disgusting way of life in public. We need to put an end to the left wing communist agenda in the USA. And Ted Cruz is another cog in that commie crushing machine! Slowly the great giant of freedom is awakening!

From what I understand, Tyson doesn’t discriminate, however, the Muslims in this town where the plant is, are being very discriminatory. So much so, that while they shop in local businesses, they refuse to have females wait on them. They are causing major issues in Shelbyville.

I agree on supporting free speech, freedom of expression, and protecting it against the FASCISTS who would use government power to “punish” those they disagree with. What is this nation coming to? If this was still America, those FASCIST politicians would be dragged from their offices and replaced with someone who will obey the Constitution. How dare they try to punish a fast food chain because of the words of one person? WTF??

However, I don’t have a Chick-fil-A near me. I do have an In-n-Out burger. That‘s where I’m headed, not just to show support. The ingredients list of the sandwiches at Chick-fil-A is a strong enough deterrent for me. In-n-Out is all natural with minimal processing. MMMMmmm!!!

It has been said that nepotism is rampant with regiional and district management hiring releaties and friends while firing competent employees so they can replace them with friends or releatives. To JZS,
Standard tirade full of phoney-baloney and plastic bananas…

Let me explain to you why these companies support health-care for homosexuals.
      1) They are lead by men who want nothing to do with sour publicity that is foisted upon a company if they make any of their true beliefs publically known. They want no such bad public feelings from their customers be they; Christian, Muslim, Mormon, agnostic, atheist, devil-worshippers, homosexual, NAMBLA, perverts, bestialists, whores, liars, thieves, murderers, etceteras. The company exists because of the profit motive, and their stock holder expects a return on the dollar he/she has invested. So rule numero uno – “Don’t piss off your customer”.

      2) They want to hire people who are dedicated to helping the company achieve profit. Obscene profit is good for those who work towards enhancing the capitalistic bottom line to earn the almighty dollar. Men and women go to school to have a career in which they can earn a living, raise a family, or a cat if they are homosexual. Good companies want to hire smart people and candidates must have a rationale for working at that company. Salary, health-care, profit-sharing, location, policy, and peers, are all part of the offer and acceptance of a job. Imagine that!

      3) Gay people who are activist should not bring their activism to the work place just as I would not be able to bring my evangelism to the work place, under threat of being fired. No problem.

Today Tyson in their industry is at the mercy of the USDA PNS DOT and about a half dozen government agency ..Including the Government being one of their biggest customers. These companies today now have to watch every thing they say and do because of the web they are in …We tried to say no years ago, that the government had no business past inspection in the market place .. but at the time many companies such as IBP saw it in their interest to make the deal with the devil ….Today they are living with it ….

Very skeptical of Tyson Foods, after all they are the ones who were big supporters of “Slick Willie” Clinton, they’d have to “born again” after polluting themselves with that association. Not only were they big financial supporters of Slick, but there were many shady dealings in AR politics involving Slick and Tyson, including large scale pollution of Mother Nature by Tyson’s chicken processing plants.

Let’s see if I have this right.

The Iranian mullahs, the minority, dictate laws to the masses according to their views. In America, we have elections where the majority decides the outcome. As of now, the majority has almost always voted down same sex marriage.

But what do we hear from you? You claim that the views of the minority concerning same sex marriage should override the views of the majority who oppose it.

Now wait a minute, where have I heard that before? I literally just read someone with low critical thinking skills griping about that type of theocracy. Oh that’s right. It was you!

You are the one who has it exactly backwards, but should we really expect anything different from the person who claims the Tea Party is racist while simultaneously castigates them for supporting Herman Cain or Allen West? Guess not.

The arrogance of your ignorance sometimes makes me believe you are a conservative trying to make liberals look like fools.

Boycotting is just WRONG, no matter what the reason. It is honorable to support a business whose beliefs or theology you agree with, but to boycott is only going to affect innocent people. In this day and age with employement so hard to find thanks to our lousy president, a lot of people are forced to take jobs with companies whose stance on religion or the gay marriage isssue they may actually disagree with out of a necessity to survive. So not every single person may be “on board” with the reason of the boycott. If you choose not to patronize them that is your God-given right. But to call for a boycott is just wrong.

BLACK9897 says, “I personally do not believe in it is right to make laws on banning any type marriage. I still hold to the morals of marriage being between one man and one woman.” Good post. Personally I don’t carry who marries whom. And I don’t understand why anyone else does either. I don’t care people marry that outside their religion, or their race (which used to be illegal) or outside whatever group they are in. Why would anybody care about what people do in their own private lives, things that that harm no one?

ATECHGEEK says, “We simply support those who support our views. You are free to do the same.” Sure, good point.

ROBOTECH says, “Get over yourself Atheist.” Hey man, what makes you think I’m an athiest? Is anyone who expresses an opinion different from you an athiest? Hardly.

BuzzardSays says, “Let me explain to you why these companies support health-care for homosexuals.” Buzzard, stay on topic. I posted a small fraction of businesses that support gay marriage, and you’ve tried to switch the topic to healthcare. Are ADHD or something? We’re not talking about healthcare. But, if you’re saying that companies make policies and take positions based on what makes them the most profit, yes I agree. I personally I wish company owners had ethics that trumped profits. That’s why I have said I respected the Chicken burger guy. But we’re talking about capitalism, so don’t expect much more of that, including from him.

Here are even more companies that have strong Christian principles such as Chick Fil A and the ones mentioned above.

Tom’s of Maine. After launching the natural home products company in 1970 with his wife Kate, CEO Tom Chappell nearly left it to pursue full-time Christian ministry. While receiving a master’s at Harvard Divinity School, however, a professor advised him to just treat his business as ministry. “He began bringing in different spiritual leaders to talk to the board about how they could use spiritual principles to run the company,” says the Tyson Center’s Neal. Beyond environmentalism, the company seeks to “create a better world by exchanging our faith, experience, and hope.”

ServiceMaster. Perhaps some of the residential services companies it owns, like Terminix and American Home Shield, will ring a bell.

The company was founded in 1929 by Marion E. Wade, who “had a strong personal faith and a desire to honor God in all he did,” according to ServiceMaster’s website. “Translating this into the marketplace, he viewed each individual employee and customer as being made in God’s image – worthy of dignity and respect.”

Herman Miller. The Michigan-based furniture manufacturer’s founders were steeped in the Reformed Protestant tradition.

Walmart. Treat this one as an honorable mention. Lambert says the Walton family, which founded the company and still own a major stake in it, has used Christian servant leadership models in building the world’s largest retailer. And the company’s Arkansas roots helped sensitize it to the shopping habits of churchgoers. It helps explain why Walmart long carries the kind of Christian books that were once the exclusive province of Christian bookstores. “You don’t find those kinds of things in J.C. Penney,” Lambert says. But Walmart has been so successful with such material that it’s now become a business threat to Christian booksellers.

TX Dave, Let’s play that revisionist history game, shall we?
I guess when you’re the party of immorality, sex scandals are part and parcel of the deal. Anyhoo…top 10 Lib sex scandals.
      10. Sen. Daniel Inouye. The 82-year-old Hawaii Democrat was accused in the 1990s by numerous women of sexual harassment. Democrats lied and cast doubt on the allegations and the Senate Ethics Committee dropped its investigation.
      9. Former Rep. Gus Savage. The Illinois Democrat was accused of fondling a Peace Corps volunteer in 1989 while on a trip to Africa.
      8. Rep. Barney Frank. The outspoken Massachusetts Democrat hired a male prostitute who ran a prostitution service from Frank’s residence in the 1980s.
      7. Former Sen. Brock Adams. The late Washington Democrat was forced to stop campaigning after numerous accusations of drugging, assault and rape, the first surfacing in 1988.
      6. Former Rep. Fred Richmond. This New York Democrat was arrested in 1978 for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old. He remained in Congress and won re-election—before eventually resigning in 1982 after pleading guilty to tax evasion and drug possession.
      5. Former Rep. John Young. The late Texas Democrat increased the salary of a staffer after she gave in to his sexual advances.

3.Former Rep. Gerry Studds. He was censured for sexual relationship with underage male page in 1983.
      2. Former Rep. Mel Reynolds. The Illinois Democrat was convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault with a 16-year-old. President Bill Clinton pardoned him before leaving office.
      1. Sen. Teddy Kennedy. The liberal Massachusetts senator testified in defense of his nephew accused of rape, invoking his family history to win over the jury in 1991.

@JZS Gee, maybe conservative towns & cities across America should ban some of those companies from doing business in their communities or make getting permits impossible to get or prohibitively expensive, huh? Just like DC, Boston, Chicago & San Diego are doing to Chic-Fil-A? The fact is that we as consumers have the right to support or not support whomever we want & governments do not have the right to discriminate against individuals or businesses on the basis of religious or sexual viewpoints, but that‘s exactly what those cities’ mayors are trying to do.

I think the point sitonit was making is that our country (unlike Iran) gives liberals the right to voice any opinion they want & if they don‘t like it that conservatives have the same right they should move to Iran where they get imprisoned or beheaded for their viewpoints if they don’t line up with the Muslim theocracy’s. What those Mayors are trying to do to Christian companies is a non-bloody version of what Iran does to dissenters, force their views on the public & businesses by making them disappear or “behead” them.

      mar·riage noun \ˈmer-ij, ˈma-rij\
      Definition of MARRIAGE
1a (1) : the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law

then in 2009 merriam webster added
      “same sex marriage”
but if you see they’ve actually changed the word they are defining, when you add a “same sex” you are no longer defining “marriage”. You cannot just add or change the definition of a word, it doesnt work that way. It would be like me saying Red now means blue, because me and my crazy friends want it to.
You have changed what is being defined, and thus a different definition.

      @Landon

According to online reports, it was changed in 2003, not 2009. And I beg to differ: definitions change over time. For example, the word gay has a different meaning now than 50 years ago. The word “nice” 500 years ago meant foolish or stupid.

You may disagree with the changed word, but you cannot deny that words do change with any factual basis.

THIS is who “we” are (any other attempt at labeling is futile): People who are NOT GOING to sit still for “changing” the definition of marriage. The etymology of the word, the religious context of the word, the tradition handed down of the act of the word, do not support any kind of “change”. That the government co-opted the word in conforming to the religious definition in passing DOMA can be argued to be a violation of the First Amendment in the first place by passing a law which respected religion. Now that the push is on for the government to “change” what marriage is, the time has come for religions to assert their First Amendment right in that marriage redefined to mean something other than that which was co-opted in the first place is a “prohibition of the free exercise” thereof, and thus, unConstitutional. If the U.S. government changes what is marriage, then there WILL BE NO FREEDOM by religion to not comply — case in point, the Obamacare contraceptive brouhaha.

Before I get the homophobic label, let me show my libertarian side: If “equality” in your relationship is what you are truly arguing for, then an equal designation for any two, unrelated adults who wish to formally enter into a relationship is what is needed. I don’t CARE if the government calls my marriage a “civil union”; what I care is that which God Has Consecrated.

Any argument that is based on emotion/feeling by those supporting gay marriage need to look at the logic: M+W=

Certainly the dictionary definition of marriage has some bearing on the conversation, however, as others have pointed out, dictionary definitions aren’t necessarily static over time. I think what really needs to be altered is our attitude towards marriage. There are those out there who are defining marriage as a “right” and therefore whining about not having access to this “right ” as children being denied access to a piece of playground equipment. I have held for some time now that marriage is a RESPONSIBILITY, not a right. For many of us it also happens to be sacramental as well. Two people engaging in sexual intercourse which can result in offspring have the responsibility to form a stable, lasting relationship in which to raise these potential offspring. If they don’t want marriage, they shouldn’t be sexually active. Imagine how many problems in our society that alteration in thought would clear up. Those engaging in some form of sexual intercourse that can never result in children (infertile OS couples of any age could still be recipients of a miracle , so we’re talking SS ONLY ) would be absolved of this responsibility. Ergo, no need for same sex marriage.

Which is somewhat funny, because under islamic law homosexuality is punishable by death, but then again… don’t expect too much common sense and logic from people infested with the red virus.

As for Tyson, the one near us (in shelbyville, Tn) has eliminated some Christian holidays and is recognizing Moslem ones… For a company to do that, shows me that their faith in Jesus isn’t too strong. The chickens at this Tyson are also processed to Islamic specifications… We are not supposed to eat food offered to idols. But I admit, I pray over my food and ask GOD to bless it, despite however it has been processed.

I just called Tyson Shelbyville TN to ask about the Islamic killing of animals and a woman rep denied it and denied they replaced Christian holidays with Muslim onea.

I did NOT believe her on the above ……..because the women Tyson rep then flat out LIED when she told me Tyson did NOT replace Labor Day with a Muslim Holiday because THEY DID.

Poor Shelbeville TN was DUMPED upon with 1000 Muslim Somalis by the LAUGHABLE Bush Administration and Obama continues this DUMPING of foreign Muslims to this day in towns ALL OVER the bible belt and up to Maine to Florida.

The SHELBYVILLE TN plant ONLY NOW pays for days off for Muslims during their Muslim holiday and it NO LONGER pays for the Labor Day day off. Tyson blamed the unions who wanted it because so many Muslims are in the union now (scary thought in and of itself).

Perhaps I’m missing the point, but wasn’t the issue most people had with Chick-fil-A not that they are a “Christian company,” but that they donate millions of dollars to groups supporting reparative therapy (conversion therapy), opposing gay marriage, and supporting things like the Ugandan law on executing homosexuals?

I mean, obviously there are anti-theists out there who are nuts, but I don’t know many sane folks who said “They are Christian and thus we must boycott them!!!” Just curious at the seemingly false correlation here; do these companies also donate to the groups that WinShape does? The article doesn’t mention it.

I’d like to see a link to a company that supports a law like what you suggest in Uganda. I‘m not saying a law like that doesn’t exist in Uganda, I just have a hard time believing that anyone supports such a thing other than crazy fools. And please don’t say “I heard it from someone else”.

This STARTED because of an interview Chick-Fil-A CEO gave to a religious news media organization. Equality Matters scrapped the internet and found the quote and ran with it. In doing their due diligence, they did some opposition research on Mr. Cathy (CEO) and found that he gave donations to those organizations you specified.

Christianity got involved when Anti-Chick-Fil-A sympathizers took to the bloggosphere & twitter to indite Mr. Cathy, all of the Chick-Fil-A workers, AND it’s customers as homophobic bigoted Christians that deserve to die from heart attacks.

I went to Chick-Fil-A yesterday in support of their organization, NOT because I disagree with gay marriage (I think they should have civil unions with all the same government benefits)…but because I disagree with the tactics the LGBT community uses to further their cause.

They protest “HATE” by being HATEFUL….and this scorched earth tactic of “if your not with us, your against us” (and we know what happens to people that are against) doesn’t win any hearts and minds.

Chick fil A didn’t donate to ANY hate groups. The gay mafia has a lobbying arm that spits out “watchdog groups” that label Christian Ministries that block their goals as “hate groups”. Then they lie about them and smear them and twist their words to make them look bad.

Kinda like this one about Uganda:
      http://voices.washingtonpost.com/right-now/2010/06/family_research_council_explai.html

Just because you can whip a mob into a frenzy over false statements, it doesn’t make the false statements true, no matter how many years you spend spouting them. The gay lobby has whipped their supporters into a frenzy over Chick-fil-A in an attempt to defund and disgrace their opponents on the issue of marriage and the normalcy of the gay lifestyle. These attacks are all based on LIES,

      @Skimmer

“Didn’t Jesus say that if you remarry after you get a divorce you are committing adultery? Why don’t they stop serving adulterers?”

When did Chick-fil-A stop serving gay people? That’s a false argument. You are correct though: remarriage is adultery. It’s a double-standard most Christians shy away from awkwardly. I am not one of those Christians: Jesus said remarriage is a sin. So it is.

      @Duddio

“Chick fil A didn’t donate to ANY hate groups.”

I never said they did. Although I believe some are considered hate groups from SPLC. You may disagree with them, of course.

      “Uganda resolution”

From what I read it’s that they opposed a Democrat-led resolution that asked Uganda to change its stance on sexuality, including the execution of homosexuals. If your link is correct, they asked for changes to the resolution, rather than its outright opposition. If they did not, in fact, oppose the resolution then the point is wrong, and I thank you for the information.

Are we living out a new book of Acts? Will the Christians of today be like the Christian church almost 2 thousand years ago coming together and supporting your brothers and sisters , sharing the gospel with an unbelieving world? Yes we can and yes we are. Keep pushing ahead never looking back, God will forgive our mistakes and give the strength needed to carry on his work. Prophecy of the last days is staring us in the face, our friends, family and community need us to live by the standard that God put together so long ago in his word. Living a Christian life is not easy but then again life is short and eternity is forever. If we cannot live for Christ today and everyday how can we say we love him and want to share eternity with him. Show love when your enemies hate you, pray for those who disagree with you. Be a friend to those in need and pray Gods blessing upon his people.

Good list. However, Tyson Chicken is a dangerous company for America. While their CEO may claim a Christian faith, it does not translate into the way the company does business. Tyson has been partnering with the hard left ELCA/Lutheran Social Services to import third world residents into the central time zone to staff their meat processing plants. Many are Muslim, and recently Tyson dropped labor day as a holiday in favor of the Islamic Eid:

That’s what our freedoms are about. Eventually public opinion will sort itself out as long as you don’t make a mess by trying to hurt others over the difference. Support who you want, but hate is a bad choice for everything.

Big cities — Boston, Chicago, New York City. Ah, Chicago the Windy City where the educated folks are BEGGING the street gangsters to stand away from the children so that the city‘s children won’t be shot in gangland shoot outs. Chicago where there within the first half of the year over 275 people killed.

And those darn ‘country yokels’ ….if those yokels would just stop sending their farm products to those ‘educated city folks’. I recall the city educated kids who believe ‘milk’ comes from the grocery store. Send those educated kids to the country to milk a cow for milk…yes, milk comes from a cow. And, sorry “chocolate milk’ does NOT come a brown cow. And, send those educated city folks to the country to grow, harvest, and process …potatoes, peas, corn, wheat, etc.

You don’t need a Bible to know homosexual acts are unnatural. Calling a union between two ****’s marriage is also unnatural.

You also don’t need a Bible to know that American Christians are building their lives around some extremely shoddy information.

Should have known Interstate Battery since they have been with Joe Gibbs Racing like forever. Now I‘m torn since I don’t care for the driver of the Interstate Battery 18 car but I guess my faith wins out and I will be supporting them in the future!

Not only that but they make some of the best automotive batteries available in America. The qualitty is 100x that of the Chinese imports available in most of the chain auto parts stores, and the cost isn’t all that much higher. It’s worth visiting the website and hunting down your nearest Interstate dealer if you need a replacement.

Only in America is the electorate imbecilic enough to sense some kind of correlation between the consumer products they buy and their stance on freedom of speech.

Proud to be an American. It’s wonderful to see people coming out of the shadows and not be intimidated for their beliefs. I‘m disappointed in corporate Wendy’s for stepping back in their support of Chick…. We have to UNITE to take back the country,

Andy, for years gays have stepped out and spoken up for the things they think are right for them.
Value and principle based folks and companies have been maligned and targeted with vile rhetoric, for believing in GOOD??? (whats up with that!)
Now they know the American people have their backs. Its just that simple, they CAN say whatever they wish and know it IS still a shared value when they say “God is good” or “we are a values based company”
Rights for some, not others? How does that work exactly?

I like how when the left wants to boycott something, businesses always seem to do better. It seems the Tea Party and Conservatives take action, the left always talks a lot, but does nothing, and at the end of the day, they simply have to resort to courts to get their way.
