‘Mind-Numbing’ Audio of a Law Student Telling Congress Why Religious Colleges Should Pay for Her Birth Control

Sandra Fluke Says Religious Schools Should Cover Birth Control

Reproductive Rights Activist Sandra Fluke

Sandra Fluke is a student at Georgetown Law. She’s also a “reproductive rights activist” who agrees wholeheartedly with the Obama administration’s controversial contraceptive mandate. Her reasoning, though, is likely to enrage some critics.

During a testimony in front of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Monday (a meeting that was held by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi), Fluke — who was coincidentally the only witness heard — described the financial constraints that purchasing birth control puts on her peers.

“Forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy,” Fluke said, referring to the fact that the university doesn’t pay for contraception. “Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school.”

She detailed, among other stories, how one woman felt “embarrassed” and “powerless” at the pharmacy counter when she “learned for the first time” that contraceptives weren‘t covered by the university’s health care plan.

Watch her complete testimony, below:

CNS News’ Craig Bannister, though, challenged Fluke’s $3,000 figure and came up with some pretty interesting numbers:

$3,000 for birth control in three years? That’s a thousand dollars a year of sex – and, she wants us to pay for it. [...]

At a dollar a condom if she shops at CVS pharmacy’s website, that $3,000 would buy her 3,000 condoms – or, 1,000 a year…

Assuming it’s not a leap year, that’s 1,000 divided by 365 – or having sex 2.74 times a day, every day, for three straight years. And, I thought Georgetown was a Catholic university where women might be prone to shun casual, unmarried sex. At least its health insurance doesn’t cover contraception (that which you subsidize, you get more of, you know).

On his radio show this morning Glenn Beck and his co-hosts called the commentary “mind-numbing,“ ”insane,” and characterized Fluke’s words as “unmitigated gall,” among other statements (read more of Bannister’s analysis and commentary here).

Watch Beck and company discuss the issue:

This isn’t the first time Fluke has made her voice heard in the halls of Congress. Earlier this month, The Blaze reported about Democrat Representatives Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) and Eleanor Norton (D-DC) and their anger over the lack of female witnesses present at a previous contraceptive hearing.

The congresswomen wanted Fluke to be permitted to speak at the event, but Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) declined to allow it, stating that Fluke was not an expert in religious freedom, which was the issue being investigated.

Fluke, though, responded by claiming that women should be included in the discussion. She also alleged that a friend of hers died because of a lack of access to contraception and accused Issa of silencing the people who have the most authority to speak on the subject.

The ruling progressive Democrats have neither the intellegence nor courage to tell parasites such as
Fluke to take responsibility for themselves and their actions. How would this idiot behave in the pre-pill era? Would she be demanding free condoms so she could spend as much time as possible on her back? This is a disgusting being.

She is just another Zombie shill for this administration. Mom and dad must be so proud of her admission of promiscuity on national television; I don’t remember the mention of a boyfriend- and since she needs birth control, she’s not a lesbian. Maybe she will get a participation trophy for that as well. If only her parents would have instilled responsibility in her she wouldn’t be demanding for us to pay for her sexcapades.Pfft.

From What????? Was she killed because of a botched pharmacy heist and was shot?

Oh the idiots at the Balze and CNS are at is again. Craig Bannister’s comment are out right lies that, the Beckerhead eat up. The testimony was not about condoms but medication. Craig Banisters comments are libelous and he should be ashamed of himself. The per month cost of $83.00 is not unrealistic given the price of medications.

If anything the CNS/Blaze reporting has proven just how dishonest the Christian Conservatives will be in this debate. They have no care about women‘s health or the women they will die from cancer or lose their fertility because old men in funny hats didn’t want the women to be able to purchase medication that is also a contraceptive.

I do not think people understand the entire farce this debate has become on both sides. First, the ability for men, women, and teens to procure basic contraceptives has been widely available at your local (government funded) healthcare clinics for free. You can get a basic physical, STD/HIV screenings, a bag of condoms, and birth control pills for FREE. This has been true long before Obamacare.

Second, the Social-Cons, led by “Slick” Rick Santorum SQUANDERED an opportunity to bring both parties, all American ethnicities, and American religious (and secular groups) together on the side of liberty. By LOSING FOCUS and debating the issue on the terms of the Progressives over the merits of contraceptives/birth control they gave up the real debate over LIBERTY and the infringement of.

The debate is NOT whether contraceptives or birth control is legal or morally acceptable, it is whether or not people of faith (or moral objections) should pay directly for the lifestyle choices of others.

This is typical whacko leftist behavior. I graduated law school. I saw these lunatics everyday. They are braindead and just regurgitate the garbage they have been indoctrinated with over the years.

Bottom line, this is what we (as a nation) get when we elect, over and over, clowns who set public policy, including establishing the educational norms in society, by virtue of US electing them.

This young woman is lost. It is HIGHLY unlikely she will recover and get her head straight. She will be angry, bitter, and take out her aggressions in a quixotic pursuit of fame and recognition in this little false crusade she is on. She is the enemy within. Look at her. She is from our families. She has been poisoned by our educational system.

I’ll bet that if you dig deep, you wil come to find two clueless, weak parents who let this little brat do whatever she wanted in life. Now here she is, spoiled for the world to see, spouting her intellectually vapid drivel for all to see. Sad.

On the wrong side once again ENCINOM . . . think about what you wrote.

“The testimony was not about condoms but medication. The per month cost of $83.00 is not unrealistic given the price of medications.”

Contraceptives are given for a condition that does not yet exist . . . kind of like One-a-Day vitamins, and they are certainly not medication. The cost of one-a-days is much less than $83 per month, but not covered, so why should contraception be so special?

Even if you want to argue that the morning-after pill-should be considered medication because conception has already taken place, the self-facilitation of pregnancy is reason enough to reject the funding. Most of us would not want to subsidize the free dispensation of insulin to someone who eats a half gallon of ice cream per week, or free methodone to a drug addict.

As long as we block the natural consequences to those who make stupid decisions, we further dilute the gene pool. Natural selection is the reason that humans remain on the earth after millions of years, but liberals strive to negate that process, and permit everyone to indulge themselves effortlessly, thereby weakening the human race.

Now, think about all of the medical benefits that will be denied for lack of funding because of diversion of funding to contraception. Treatments for infections, viruses, appendicitis, broken bones, mammograms . . .

Your are so self-serving – blinded by your own “needs” that you’ll never admit yo

And frankly, miss, pregnancy is not a disease. This isn‘t about women’s health – particularly since birth control has numerous and severe side effects, including those of a psychological nature. If you’re big enough to have sex, you’re big enough to deal with the consequences yourself. Buy your own birth control – it isn’t as expensive as she says (3000 bucks a year? What is it, gold-plated?).

She must be part of the gubment – her math is fuzzy: just searched and found that ‘the pill’ costs between 15 and 50 per month. that results in $540 and $1800 for three years. Of course if you include a hotel room in the $3000 it could cost $3000.

Huh. Apparently Craig has never heard of the pill, OB-GYN visits (needed for the pill and recommended annually for sexually active women), Plan B (in case other birth control fails), or other contraceptives such as spermicidal gels, birth control injections, or IUDs. Condoms are cheap, but notice that this girl said contraceptives, not just condoms.

Craig Bannister has set up what is known as a strawman; a false argument that is easy to knock down. Does anyone honestly think this girl is buying 1000 condoms each year like Bannister says?

During the short time my wife was taking low-dosage birth control pills, the cost was about 60 bucks a month – without any insurance. That comes out to about 720 bucks a year. The effect on her mood, her weight, and her health was so intense that she decided to never use it again.

But again, this is a smokescreen. The First Amendment is being trampled upon by our government, and unless those on the left pull their heads out and fight against this mandate it will be gone faster than any of us think.

The point he was making is birth control is affordable – if you cannot afford the pill, condoms are a cheaper alternative – but even if he used the given cost of birth control, which runs between $15 and $50 dollars, you are still not talking about $1,000 a year – plus the fact many organizations will help in the cost not just of the pills but in free check-ups. Besides I thought Obamacare allowed parents to keep their children on their healthcare longer. Why would a Christian College be their only means of coverage if they can stay on their parent’s insurance?

Birth control and the morning after pill is not a right but such an argument obscures the real issue – the power of the government to mandate a company to give a product away for free as well the government stepping on the rights of religious institutions.

Any of these “over-sexed” college girls in dire need of contraceptives, sterliants and abortions that Ms Fluke is so passionately representing can to a government funded health clinic and obtain birth control pills and screenings for “free” (well..“free” in liberalville). What this militant leftist in the guise of a law student is actually trying to do is chip away at the church and it’s insitutions and erode the first amendment at the same time. If this girl is really a law student she‘s probably the worst presenter of an argument I’ve ever had to endure. Once again…it’s not about “womens’ rights”. It’s about the first amendment and the protections is gives religious practice. The church isn’t saying these women are not entitled to “free” (yeah I know..“free” only to a liberal) contraceptives, sterilants and abortions. It‘s saying it and it’s institutions don’t have to pay for them either directly or to their insurance company offering the “free” perks. There are government funded clinics that offer “free” (stop laughing) birth control and screenings. Apparently this underinformed idiot posing as a law student hasn’t realized that yet.

      “the strawman argument is yours.”

I’m actually curious as to what you mean. As my “argument”, if you can even call it that, was “Condoms are cheap, but notice that this girl said contraceptives, not just condoms.”

Are you saying Bannister did NOT change the wording from contraceptives to condoms? I’m not sure how you can dance your way out of that, but I’ll smile and nod at you as you try!

That doesn’t touch the actual substance of the article of course; my entire point is that if Bannister is assured of his position, he should not be forced to lie to make his point. Pretending the argument was about condoms instead of contraceptives in general so as to paint the girl as a hypersexual chipmunk is insulting and demeaning. We should be above such things, don’t you agree?

“although if she wore said paper bag we’d all be better off.”

LOCKED…where’s the lie Bannister said? Is the price of condoms he quoted a lie? Perhaps he should include the more exotic varieties that have a higher price point? I mean…why deny this two-****** her “right” to the very best and most stimulating condoms the church and the tax payer can buy her, right? Certainly it’s her “right” to get the most expensive condoms and have the church pay for them. You said Bannister’s was a strawman argument and proceeded with your usual word mincing …when in fact, you offered the strawman argument. Bannister hasn’t lied. He was certainly being a tad facetious by only offering the price of condoms and not including those “free” clinics I reminded you of. If his sarcasm was lost on you, you have my sympathy. Look up “nuance” champ. In any case…in your usual myopic way you fixated on Bannisters words while choosing to ignore the broader picture once again. I know you can’t help yourself though…you’re just a myopic, mealy mouthed, self approving git who can never acknowledge the whole picture. I‘ll reiterate for you because your pride won’t let you admit it…there are “free” (well..“free” in liberalland) health clinics Ms Fluke and her over-sexed sorority sisters can go to which will provide contraceptives and screenings for them. No church has to pay for her or her what appear to be libidinous female counterparts’ habits. Ol’ Two-bag Fluke needs to get a better education her ignornace is showing.

Honestly if this two ****** is a lawyer she presents the worst most fragile arguments I’ve ever had the discomfort of having to take seriously. She apparently has never heard of “free” clinics funded by the government (I wince whenever “free” is used) that offer everything she demands the church should pay for. Apparently lethargy and ignorance are also something she believes her fellow female students should embrace..at someone else’s expense of course.

This is sick! I have never seen such time wasted on something that is purely private and these supposingly intelligent people wasting time when they are getting an education. I have never in my lifetime seen so much time wasted on something like this that each person is responsible for their own personal habits. Why should anyone subsidize these women’s sexual habits… God, we truly our not deserving of our freedom. May he judge this country soon and show people with limited intelligence what is truly important in our lives. AND IT IS NOT SEX! Stop the insanity and don’t ask others to pay for your sin. Ah, there’s your dancing!

“where’s the lie Bannister said? Is the price of condoms he quoted a lie? Perhaps he should include the more exotic varieties that have a higher price point?”

You mean the strawman? He changed the argument from contraceptives in general to condoms in particular. When discussing healthcare, do you only talk about band-aids and not mention vaccines, doctors visits, or medical procedures?

“He was certainly being a tad facetious by only offering the price of condoms and not including those “free” clinics I reminded you of.”

Or anything else in the realm of normal contraceptives?

“you fixated on Bannisters words while choosing to ignore the broader picture once again.”

Yes, I know you hate it when I quote what people say and call them on it; it’s like people are responsible for their own words! :-) As for ignoring the broad picture, I specifically addressed it. Here’s the quote, as you missed it before:
“That doesn’t touch the actual substance of the article of course; my entire point is that if Bannister is assured of his position, he should not be forced to lie to make his point.”

It is interesting that you don‘t find changing someone’s words to make a completely unrelated argument neither “lying” or a “strawman,” and that you disapprove of focusing on the words that people write.

Interesting reasoning. There are free and low-cost clinics for healthcare in general as well, as well as vaccination drives, blood testing sites, etc. Your wording seems to suggest that because they exist, there’s no need for health insurance?

It’s an odd tact to take, but I‘m sure you’ll be at the forefront of tapping people in hospitals on the shoulder and informing them about the “free” government-funded clinics across town.

How it is used to prevent ovarian cysts. How it is used to help regulate a women’s menstruation cycle. How it is used to reduce the risk of various cancers.

Instead, you assail this woman with some of the most horrid insults you can think of. I watched the entire Beck clip, and was absolutely disgusted that they felt it necessary to edit out the section where she talks about the person who had to get an ovary removed because she couldn’t afford her medication. And why is it she couldn’t afford it, because people just like you decided that her condition wasn’t the reason she wanted her medication.

“but Bannister is being facetious by citing the “condom” price argument. His pricing is accurate however.”

Funny, I never debated the price of condoms; implying I did so is a (say it together class!) strawman argument :-) My point has always been that he‘s making a strawman argument by claiming she’s talking only about condoms and not contraception in total.

“There’s absolutely no need for her to demand the church be co-erced into paying for her sexual proclivities.”

Thankfully, she’s not. She’s insisting that her insurance, for which she herself must pay, be held to the same standards as other organizations as mandated by law. Her church is not involved.

“Fluke is nothing but a militant leftist seeking to undermine the church and get “free stuff” at someone else’s expense”

Odd that you claim it is free (although she pays for her insurance). Even if she has clinics nearby, she’ll still need to buy insurance. No such thing as a free lunch, Avengerk! How about what I said before; since there are vaccine drives, free physicals, and blood testing centers, should these procedures also not be covered in health insurance?

This little girl makes me ill! My daughter suffered from ovarian cysts, and no, the contraceptive pills, which would have kept them from recurring, were not covered by my husband’s insurance policy. We paid for them ourselves. (We could have gotten them for free or near-nothing at Planned Parenthood, but..) This girl talks of her “friend” who was diagnosed, and then contemptuously adds“ My friend is gay”, as to why a contraceptive motive was not the primary one. Excuse me…but they are lucky to be able to attend the Jesuit University in the first place. CHASTITY is what is called for…chastity of all kinds… Second, she tries to tear up for her dear friend who had an ovary removed (or was having one removed) and how she would be undergoing early menopause. My biology understanding is that if a woman has at least one working ovary, she will not suffer thus. Finally, she pleads with the committee about how this same “friend” will never give her poor mother “the grandchild she so longed for”. My oldest daughter was told by 3 doctors that she would never become pregnant due to the cysts. She was also cautioned that if she ever DID become pregnant, she or the baby, could die. It all had absolutely nothing to do with access to healthcare! I accepted the fact that my daughter would be barren, as did she and her husband. @beckisdelusional – Viagra, seriously?

      OK, from the top:

Every prescription drug plan does not cover Viagra, and very few of the ones that do offer it without a copayment.

A woman can take ‘the pill’ everyday for up to 25 years (ages 15-40), men who do take Viagra tend to not take it every day (it gets expensive, see above) and has only been on the market for what, 10 years?

Viagra is a medication to overcome a medical condition, a problem. ‘The Pill’ is about causing problems in the body to prevent it doing what it otherwise would do.

If this is really about Women’s health, why is the pill preferable to any form of contraceptive that also prevents the spread of AIDS/STDs?

If this is an accessibility issue, how can supporters claim 98% of women use contraceptives? By comparison, 98% of women don’t have access to clean drinking water…

If this is a cost issue, how can supporters claim that 98% use contraceptives – somebody’s been paying for it?

And finally, the issue can’t be cost, because the left keeps telling us that giving away free contraceptives doesn’t cost anything (that‘s why insurance companies csn’t raise their premiums to pay for this), in fact it saves money compared to the cost of all the children that won’t be born.

Now, are you arguing that men should get free Viagra w/o copayment? If not, why not? You‘ve already equated Viagra and ’the pill’, men still have to pay for Viagra – that’s not fair!

Let’s see, minimum wage is around $7.25/ hour. If you work 5 weeks during your summer break, that would equal 40 hours/week x $7.25/hour x 5 weeks= $1450.00/ year. And you need $1000/year for your birth control. Then what you are telling me is that you want me and others pay your $1000 for your birth control because you and others like you will not work 5 weeks/year and cannot keep your legs together? Like I tell my kids, why should I put more sweat into the game than you are willing to do?
PS: Please give me your number when you become a lawyer, I want to make sure I never call it.

I have a birth contol method that won’t cost you a damn dime, keep your freaking legs together and take the bag off your head. By this womans opinion I would take it that any medication that keeps you well or cures an illness should be provided at no cost, won’t it be a wonderful world when everything we need will be provided to us by the all-knowing all-caring federal government? Give me a break if you want to have sex pay for your OWN birth control if you can‘t afford the birth control don’t have sex. NUFF SAID.

@Mike N – “Contraceptives are given for a condition that does not yet exist” – then why do so many doctors prescribe birth control pills to women/girls as a means to fight the growth of ovarian cysts and cancer?? these pills can be hundreds of dollars a month, so you actually are showing that you don’t really know what you are talking about. it IS medication.

“Now, think about all of the medical benefits that will be denied for lack of funding because of diversion of funding to contraception. Treatments for infections, viruses, appendicitis, broken bones, mammograms . . .” – since the gov’t is not funding contraceptives, nor will hospitals or doctors be personally responsible to cover the costs, once again, your example is wrong and inaccurate.

“Your are so self-serving – blinded by your own “needs”” – I know. It is SO selfish to want women to have affordable access to the medications they and their doctors deem necessary. Trying to force my own religious views on the rest of the country is not in any way self-serving.

If not, how long do you think it is before she’s on staff? Seriously! All this is an effort to disenfranchise those of us who DON’T want to have, be party to, or pay for abortions – either chemical or aspriation, early or late-term. She and Barry are telling us, “Phark You, Most of Americans! You’re going to do what we tell you to, like it or not!” This is NOT about women’s health, it‘s about Big Gov’s right to RULE you, against the explicit protections of the First Amendment!

As for you, Ms. Flake from Georgetown University, you are COMPLETELY FREE TO CHOOSE how you will conduct your sexual lifestyle, or any other ELECTIVE pursuit, practice, activity, hobby, or night at the bar. Just don’t ask me to finance it!

You are demanding that others in the plan pay for your unnecessary add-ons. Next, you’ll be demanding we pay for your Manicure-Pedicure each Friday afternoon (pink and white, with sparkles, please!). Nice if you can get it, but a whim just the same–not a necessity in life to be demanded from others.

And, Ms. Flake, I find your strawman argument illogical and off-topic : “My Lesbian friend, who obviously doesn’t need contraception, was denied this medication to treat her ever-growing cysts.”
Most women request contra-ception for the expressed purpose of inhibiting one’s ability to conceive (as the name indicates). A relatively small number of women require contraceptives to treat gynecological problems such as your friends’. Pregnancy is not a gynecological problem. It is a condition one generally causes to occur.

If this “friend” even exists, why did you not offer her assistance in getting to another clinic? It appears she was foolish to not seek the hormones her body required to inhibit cysts from forming. Hormones can be delivered in other formulas besides by BC. Did your friend just ignore the problem, or was she too embarrased or lazy to seek alternate care after being presented with the facts. You know, it is “so degrading” being seen down at the free cliniic…

wow ,,,as I go down thru and read the comments,,,seems no one has mercy
for someone who expects someone else to pay for her sex life. What in the
world is happening to this country that I fought for, and many have fought and
died for. Have we become so spoiled rotten that our eyes have glazed over.
We want other people to pay for our health care, we want other people to pay
us for not working. We want other people to pay because we had children we cannot
afford to take care of. In other word we want other people to pay for our stupidity.
This country is the most blessed nation in this world. If you don’t believe it
go live in some other country for a while. Our freeway system, our roads, our
air and ground travel are superior. Yet we are not satisfied. We continue to be
dependent on our Government, when in truth the Governments job is only to keep
us safe. I am appalled at this lady who is not married and having so much sex that
she cannot afford all the contraception she needs. Then Rush Limbaugh speaks

Will they have to live like people did hundreds of years ago? In lonely log cabins far away from their families? They can’t get their contraception for free? I’m sorry but that leans more towards a privilege than a right. If you can buy it, good for you! If you can’t, don’t.

Hold on… when I hear “reproductive rights” I think of a woman being given the right TO reproduce, while unfavorable to enforce on some, it is at least something that women should if need be fight for.

academica2020, I appreciate your honest question. Although Ms. Fluke’s testimony is admittedly anecdotal, personally I would err on the side of caution. The “separation clause” and the advent of modern medicine has presented a subtlety that the Framers couldn’t have anticipated. The states legitimate obligation in this case is to ensure that the individuals civil liberty is not infringed upon by the Church’s “conscientious objection”. Specifically, if the Church objects to the funding of hormonal birth control on the grounds that one of it’s tenets is birth control is forbidden, then the Church has no legal standing in denying the individual described by Ms. Fluke. One the medication at issue has been found to prevent some forms of ovarian cysts and two the individual that Ms. Fluke described is purported to be a lesbian so the likelihood that she used the medication as birth control is eliminated.

      @ECHOHAWK:
I don’t want to freak you or ENCINOM out, but I do agree that, if the hormone pills are prescribed for a medical reason, than I have no objection. If they are strictly for contraception, I do. In the latter case, the individual should pay for them, as do men when it comes to condoms. May be simplistic, but it is not a religiously based opinion, just mine.

You are missing the issue, its not that the contraceptives or the little blue pill are being ppaid for, it is that the Church has refused to include insurance coverage for one set of medications solely on arbitrary grounds. Obama’s plan for health insurers to provide contraceptives for free, only came about because the Church refused to allow their employees the option to have such medication available to them through the insurance plans the employees pay for.

The whole point of the argument being made on this issue is simply that the Church’s “conscientious objection” infringes upon the liberty of the individual. I don‘t hear a great hue and cry that the individual doesn’t retain the right to obtain this form of contraception and the assertion that the women arguing that they want the prescription provided for free is inaccurate at best. The Church, in this case attempts to make the argument that it suffers harm by endorsing or condoning a health care plan that includes hormonal contraception. This appears in affect to declare Church dogma superior to individual liberty, contrary to the First Amendment, inasmuch as governments defense of the Church, according to the Constitution, is secondary to it’s defense of individual liberties.

Echohawk, the church isn’t infringing on her civil liberties unless they are preventing her from buying birth control. Forcing the church to pay for something they oppose is infringing on the civil liberties of the members of said church.

Hysterical Liberals need to calm down. There is no “war on women”. Just another fabricated rallying cry. Liberalism is a disease that is destroying our American way of life. And the pathology of it is showing. Rush is right (correct) as usual. Progressives most always come out of the woodwork, especially before elections to distract the Sheeples that follow them. It is a plan to ignore Obama’s dismal record. Not one of his twisted lies, used to gather the flock of “gimme gimme liberals” has mateterialized for them. The pied piper has led this country to the cliff”s edge. So they are looking for confirmation that their “King” was the right choice, and are quite willing to repeat their mistake again, hoping for different results. They will not admit they were wrong in their last vote. Apparently, this is too damaging to their egos and false expectations for the “Good Life”. How else will they go forward with their selfish, irresponsible lives?

I am not advocating a theocracy, just follow the tenets of your religion.

    God will not be mocked.

How much money is spent (wasted) by people who fail to follow the doctrine of their religion.

I would consider these expenditures as a “sin” tax – to be paid for by the sinner.

And we have to listen to this why? So we can all see we are not as stupid as we sometimes think we may be.

Never had someone pay for my contraception. Never had anyone pay for anything for me (except my parents when I was a child. This is what it has become – it is someone else’s responsibility to take care of me.

Her friends seem very committed to being the “village bicycle” at her college, and by all means, their nethers can serve as a clown car for all I care. But they shouldn’t complain when the government, and by proxy myself, don’t dole out the cash for her not to get knocked up, or infected with heaven only knows what. We call that “consequence.”
