Russia Today brings us video of widespread flooding and mudslides that ravaged southwest China on Wednesday.
The footage, filmed by local broadcaster CCTV, shows flooded roads, fields and villages. Several people are also seen being evacuated to safety by the emergency services, as cars were carried away by the deluge.
More than 20 cars were reportedly hit by the landslide and four people were stranded but so far no casualties have been reported.

Posted on July 15, 2011 at 10:40pmI am surprised some of our idiot liberal and RINO elected officials didn’t borrow a couple BILLION from China and then turn around and give it back to China for humanitarian reasons. It is what we do for Haiti and all the other countries WE CANNOT AFFORD to help.

Posted on July 14, 2011 at 9:12pmLook at how little water (how low it is) it takes to toss these cars around! Take note! Don’t EVER cross a bridge that is under water, or push through a road with water running across it! I lost a neighbor, years ago, in Columbia, MD, after a rain storm! They got washed off the entrance road, when the culvert under it couldn’t handle the water! The driver made it–his passenger didn’t!

Posted on July 14, 2011 at 7:59amGood thing China has all those Ghost Cities to provide housing for all those displaced by the mudslides. As long as they pay four times as much money… Oh yeah.
