Here‘s the Video of a White House Adviser Talking About a ’Global Minimum Tax’

Two weeks ago, we told you some United Nations leaders were considering a proposal for a world tax to fund “social protection.” And now there’s video of a White House adviser saying “we need a global minimum tax.”

The video, from Monday, features Gene Sperling, the director of the White House Economic Council, speaking at a meeting about the budget being televised by CSPAN. From the video, he seems to be talking about what the president supports. Here’s what he had to say:

“He [presumably the president] supports corporate tax reform that would reduce expenditures and loopholes, lower rates for people investing and creating jobs in the U.S., due so further for manufacturing, and that we need to, as we have the Buffett Rule and the individual tax reform, we need a global minimum tax so that people have the assurance that nobody is escaping doing their fair share as part of a race to the bottom or having our tax code actually subsidized and facilitate people moving their funds to tax havens.” [Emphasis added]

He went on to talk about giving more details in the future. Watch below:

Mr. Romney urged what he described as “a new type of Marshall Plan” that would deliver economic aid, public health aid and other assistance to Islamic states struggling to resist violent extremists. He also called for the creation of a special military unit that would work with other governments to combat terrorists.

Gene Sperling, like I’ve been stating all along, it’s the Jewish kibbutz-ism, commune-ism, communism, cabal that is at work fundamentally changing our nation. I listed Gene Sperling days ago as one of the primary Jewish movers and shakers along with: Axelrod, Emanuel, Sunstein, Stern, Lew, Orszag, Zeints, Berwick, Feinberg, Bloom, Sutphen, Shapiro, Shapiro, Gensler, Simon, Lynn, Steinberg, Ross, Klain, Bernstein, Sher, Feinstein, Rudman, Kagan, Ginsburg, Breyer, Plouffe,… on and on… all teaching the Jewish science of Herss, Marx, Alinsky, Piven… and supported by the Jewish Soros, Bernanke.

Let’s admit the fact that corproations and fat cats have recieved welfare in the form of loop holes and tax breaks for 30 years now and it has produced the current mess. Raising taxes to Clinton levels would balance the budget, somehting I thought tea-baggers supported.

Do you ever grow tired of your own ridiculous doublespeak?

Welfare is when the government takes money by force from someone who has actually earned it… and gives it to someone who has not earned it.

Your Orwellian definition of welfare is a farce, and allowing people to keep money they EARNED is simply not stealing it from them.

Your ridiculous doublespeak only works on those who have no brain and/or those who are looking to sell their vote to the highest bidder.

The fact that you back insanity such as stealing money from Americans to give it to foreigners simply proves you are a collectivist NWO fool.

Here’s Obama admitting his plan back in 2007.

      http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/02/the_global_candidate_proposes.html

“With billions of people living on just dollars a day around the world, global poverty remains one of the greatest challenges and tragedies the international community faces,” said Senator Obama. “It must be a priority of American foreign policy to commit to eliminating extreme poverty and ensuring every child has food, shelter, and clean drinking water. As we strive to rebuild America’s standing in the world, this important bill will demonstrate our promise and commitment to those in the developing world. Our commitment to the global economy must extend beyond trade agreements that are more about increasing corporate profits than about helping workers and small farmers everywhere.”

Just another Beckerhead with no idea what the term socialist means. Obama is no where near being a socialist, outside of the Fox News/Beck definition of the word.

Second, the debt is not the immediate issue facing the nation, the unemployment rate is. The stimulus worked and should have been bigger, the US still has a car ibdustry thanks to the auto bailout.

The GOP are running from tax reform, they only know how to cut taxes for the richest among us. The Bush tax cut added to the debt and needs to be dine away with. Additionally, taxes need to raised on those who benefited for the past 30 years from government hand outs, the wealthy. the income gap since the age of reagan has only grown while the middle class disappeared. Tinkle on economics doesn’t work.

      @therightsofbilly,

      from the CBO:

The extended-baseline scenario was constructed on the assumption that, by and large,
current law would continue without change—including the assumption that tax cuts
originally enacted in 2001 and 2003 would expire as scheduled. Under those assumptions, revenues were projected to climb from 15 percent of GDP in 2010 to 21 percent in 2022 and 22 percent in 2030

      At ENCINOM

The national debt is absolutley the immediate issue facing the nation.

The stimulus did not work and should not have been bigger. The auto industry should have been left in the cold to do or die. The US still has a car industry thanks primarily to GM and Chrysler shifting from stateside sales to China, not from improving their design and manufacturing practices. Unfortunately for them, the Chinese economy is beginning to flounder, and the relief for the auto industry is very temporary. The big 3 will all be mired in unsold inventory again two years from now.

The GOP are clamoring for tax reform; just not the kind of reform you seek.

Obama has added nearly 5 trillion dollars to the national debt in 3 years time . . . ALMOST 5 TRILLION! Most of that pays for road and bridge crews to lean on shovels, excessive pensions for public workers, food stamps, and the non-productive unemployed to sit on their a$$e$ waiting on their next benefits check.

If the takers continue to make nothing, and the number of makers cotinues to decline, we will reach a tipping point. When that happens, there will be too little food produced, to little warmth available, and anarchy will rule. I know . . . you think that’s a good thing . . . really???

Certainly the Constitution provides no authority for foreign aid. So that part when Bush initiated the term New World Order meant what? This is nothing more than the government finally cutting off the tax havens and loopholes enjoyed by corporations and individuals which lead to the rest of us paying higher taxes.

      JROOK

You mean like GE? The problem with America is it’s full of Americans! If you want to control them lets breed them out by opening up the borders.

The real problem with America is that “We the people” have been sleeping while our Government has been manipulated into some bloated beaurocracy with centralized control by parasites that want nothing more than to exert their influence. All the while “We the people” suffer the loss of liberty in the name of their progress.

No thank you. Small government is easier to keep an eye on. Too many laws by retired lawyers who then become politicians. Return to the constitution, Term limits, cut spending now.

It’s kinda like the Mafia used to do when they would vandalize small businesses and then offer “protection.” For a small fee of course.

I can’t wait for the first left wing idiot to get on here and try to point out that 0bama has not raised taxes, again. It ain’t for the lack of trying and if 0bamacare goes into full swing there will be next to nothing left to tax. Equal protection under the law be damned, Barry wants his fair share!

When nations pay taxes to other nations, it is not called a tax. It is called tribute. No international organization has the right to levy a tax on any American. Obama and his gangsters have got to go.
