Herman Cain Gives Rousing Speech at Tax-Day Rally: We Need Some ‘Altering & Abolishing’

Tea Party staple and potential 2012 presidential candidate Herman Cain gave a rousing speech at a tax-day Americans for Prosperity rally in New Hampshire on Friday. He praised the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. In fact, he boldly quoted the latter, saying that we are now experiencing destructive government, and the time is now for “altering and abolishing” it.

“We’ve got some altering and abolishing to do, and we are doing it,” he said to raucaous applause.

He also laid out his tax plan, which includes lowering the top corporate tax rate, suspending capital gains taxes, and giving employers and employees a one-year “payroll tax holiday.”

You can hear the entire speech below, in which he boasts about being a Tea Party speaker before it was “cool.“ The ”altering and abolishing” part comes at about 2:30:

Yes, yes, yes….I love your message Herman Cain! This man “gets it”. I’ve listened to him when I can tune in for a few years now. He is a good man.

The payroll tax holiday would give Americans a real in your face understanding of how much money is actually extorted from our paychecks by the Government. This could lead to the Fair Tax, which Mr. Cain truly understands and would be a great proponent of. He has run a large business…so that is important and useful knowledge to help the private industry.

You give me hope Herman Cain, and bring tears to my eyes. You are such a great inspiration for people of ALL color. I am so sick of the division of the left. You could bridge the color gap, to which sadly, our present President has so intentionally failed miserably.

God bless you sir. You have my love and admiration, even though I would be thought of as and old white racist by these destructive forces on the left. Go Herman go <3

He , GOD that is, wants too! But we need to put our individual house’s in order by getting in line with Him Spiritually first. Now please don‘t think I’m directing a finger at you because I’m not, that’s between you and GOD. All that I’m am saying is that if we of the Tea Party desire GODs blessing we should act like we are his Children in all we do.
I say your post, and I decided to be a voice crying out in the wilderness. And I speak to my own heart as well as to my fellows here.

He’s friends with fellow talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Neil Boortz, so he’ll have a lot of media coverage when he runs. And anyone who tries the race card this time around will be told to sit down and shut up!

A Trump/West ticket has also been tossed around. Looks like we have some nice BLACK choices from the conservatives this time. Here’s hoping all of them will participate, and shut Obama up for good.

Perhaps I feel this way because my best friend for most of my life has a different skin tone than I do, we never ever made it an issue. Listen to Palin’s speech in Madison, WS. She was wonderful. I know that they have demonized her to the point of no return on the left, but she was GREAT. I love Hermann Cain, and also Allen West, but I am the same with them as with Sarah, I have doubts that they could beat Obama…I wish it were not the case. But I tell you, when Sarah is ON, she is saying exactly what all of us want to say and don’t have the platform. She is a force to be reckoned with. Even if she doesn’t run, SHE is a great force in the Tea Party and the Conservative values that we all believe in…well most of us anyway, other than the trolls who don’t believe in anything except for the liberal agenda. I wish the BLAZE would have covered her speech in addtion to this one. No one can post to the speech on the BLOG…

I think it‘s good that the RINOs are out in front and here’s why. I think that the Obamanations machine will focus on them, giving Our Tea Party candidate some breathing room to gather momentum into the presidential debates. Once into the debates Herman Cain, Allen West, or if we can get Chrissy Christi to run, any of these guy wipes the floor with Obama because of the “ unanointed ” ones record alone.
In either case if ever an election and our nation were ever at the good grace of GOD, 2012 is the one. Pray like there’s no tomorrow, because that just might be the case. IMHO I think we stand on the brink, we either get right with GOD as a nation, or we get right off the cliff.

      You are RIGHT, O-M-M-S ….
The left’s 5th column, the entire media, including fox, more and more, REALLY had NO INTENTION of bringing up a certain ethnicity for improviing their plight.
It makes me nauseaus to hear the liberal commies play identity politics, only as a means to capture whole dumbed-down and paid-for voting blocs.
I know there will be many on either side of the political spectrum identifying Herman Cain, and Allen West as ‘african-american’, for specific strategies, and that saddens me as well.
I truly hope that ALL CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS AND INDEPENDENTS (there is no such thing as a conservative liberal commie) will address them and refer to them in NAME ONLY, just as it should be done for our women candidates.
      SARAH
      HERMAN
MICHELLE (I wish she would get her name changed, as I truly love her !)
      JIM (DeMint)
      ALLEN (West)
      MIKE ( Lee) .. UTAH
      SCOTT (Walker) .. WISCONSIN

I voted for Mitt last time (2008) and all I saw was a REALLY NICE GENTLEMEN, who debated very nicely amongst his opponents, but did not breathe fire.

NO NICE MEN, WHO CANNOT FIGHT LIKE A GIRL !!!!!
      No Huckabee .. rino.
No Gingrich .. too uncertain, should have run in 2008, but waivered.
I haven’t liked Tim Pawlenty much up to now, but I have heard him assert himself in the last day or two, stating that the DEBT CEILING SHOULD NOT BE RAISED !!
ALL CANDIDATES NEED TO COME OUT AND STATE THEIR POSITIONS on what to do with the DEBT CEILING !! TODAY !! And anyone of them who even quibbles or suggests that the DEBT CEILING SHOULD BE RAISED is automatically DROPPED FROM CONSIDERATION !!!

Indeed, he is a true American at heart, with honor and integrity. One thing most people do not seem to get at least in the media on both sides, is the next president will have his hands full undoing all the damage done by Obama and the generations of progressives before him.

The next one will go down in history as either the POTUS who has helped with the Restoration of America, or if Obama or Hillary take it, the one who let her pass into the night at long last.

THE REPUBLIC IS IN CRISIS –LEADERSHIP REQUIRED
A champion of freedom, reminiscent of George Washington, will be necessary for the Republic to survive. This new leader must fulfill Ayn Rand’s definition of a “Radical for Capitalism” and will have to be a charismatic speaker to Garner the popular support required to save the Republic. At this time there’s no one on the national scene that fulfills these specifications. No RINOS allowed!

Two personalities that show promise are Herman Cain and Marco Rubio. Both of these men are excellent communicators but they have yet to earn extensive public support or demonstrate that they are truly “Radicals for Capitalism”. Only time will tell if either of these men has the philosophy and the charisma to save the Republic. Perhaps someone, unrecognized today, will rise to the occasion.

Who do you think has the capacity to restore the Republic? http://commonsense21c.com/

Let’s say we WIN the Senate, and WH and keep the House in 2012, yes?! I sure hope we do…so then we all pack up and go home and sigh relief, things are going to get better, right? Wrong, THAT will be the TIME of MOST DANGER, that is when the defanged leftist hooligans are going to do their WORST, yes, they will go bonkers crazy on us then. You know I think their gonna go nutzo on us this year, and they will, but it is when we WIN that they will become the nastiest pieces of parasites we’ve EVER SEEN! So, if we make it to 2012 intact, and WIN, we must KEEP OUR GUARD UP! That will be the greatest time of danger, because the left will be totally disenfranchized, and like the children they are, they will want to take us down forcefully, bet your bottom dollar!

This week there are 16,935 Federal Job Openings – (representing new and replacement positions) and, almost 73% are in the national defense & security sector. The rest are allocated to twelve “social and legal” agencies.
It seems most of the “growth” since 2002 has going to the Military, Border Patrol, Transportation Security, and Counter Terrorism – which the Paul Ryan Republicans and majority of Tea Party chapters refuse to criticize or demand they right-size.
Unless we face these hard facts, we cannot reach balanced budgets – unless we raise revenues. With lily-livered big businesses sitting the economy out; this means TAX increases or Deficits!

I see no color in this man. He speaks only the truth, describes what our founding fathers have put
together. No canidate R or D or I can match his faith in God and belief in America.

He will make a great president especially if he is the one just after Obama. It will show what a total fraud Obama is and support how we are all Americans with the same goals and dreams.

Two possible POTUS candidates in one night on the Blaze puts me in an uncomfortable position. Most of you know by now that I’m supporting a draft Allen West movement, but I would have no problem for voting for Sarah or Herman if they were to win the primary. However, I think I make a good case as to why West would be the better choice, here…

I am in support of Herman Cain,Allen West would be my first choice but as of yet he seems to have no intention of running for President, but i will be proud to support either one.

We are very hard at work trying to draft Col. West to run. The good news is… he hasn‘t said ’NO’.

      Herman rules!
Tax and spend is clearly not the answer Mr. President

According to an article at http://www.heritage.org/Research/Factsheets/2011/04/TAXES-ARE-NOT-TOO-LOW-Its-the-Spending-Stupid
the government took in about $2.2 trillion in 2010. Then went ahead and spent $3.5 trillion. Now it doesn’t take a math major to figure out that they are spending more than they take in. It also doesn’t take a brain-surgeon to figure out that you can’t raise taxes enough to make up the $1.3 trillion deficit.

SGTCRUST “That will be the greatest time of danger, because the left will be totally disenfranchized, and like the children they are, they will want to take us down forcefully, bet your bottom dollar!” I have discussed this very thing with some of my friends. I am most worried that when obama is not elected he will lash out between nov and jan trying whatever he can to subvert the constitution just like everything else that he has pushed around congress. That will be scary

Hey Cozmo, you are a true thinker! It really pains me to say the things I do, because I know I sound so radical myself, yet I am just a thinker, a ponderer, just someone who sees things for what they are, and I don’t mince words…just as the trollers around here LOL! I am happy, yet sad, that at least one other person has had this enlightenment. God Bless America, and the free, brave people who live here, may we never stand down.

Herman Cain is the real deal. Joe Biden would say he is clean and articulate.
