As the United Nations is poised to vote on a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood this week, all eyes turned to Israel during Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate.
Businessman and presidential hopeful Herman Cain stated emphatically that the nation’s Middle East policy should be such that any country that “messes with Israel,” is in fact challenging the United States:

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 11:10amThank God for common sense and and Herman Cain. I love you even more today than I did yesterday, when I was still fooled that Perry might be our guy. Last night I learned I cannot support Perry because he will give away the FARM to Illegals, like in-state tuition and making all the other college kids make up the difference by billing them a share of the loss.
This is America, and yes Perry, I DO HAVE A HEART, but not for rewarding unlawful behavior. We have enough Americans who’d love to go to college, but can’t afford it. This is whom I’d reward first.
So Mr. Cain, run, run, run. You, I do trust. You have what it takes. You are loved by many of us.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 4:13amHerman Cain says what he means and means what he says…you know where the man stands. He is a true conservative and he is expressing it. If the media can surround a candidate and change the course of an election (Obama) then conservative communications need to do the same for a conservative candidate. Perry and Romney are both right center…right center will not fix the soul of this nation.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 3:02amAlright, just when did we decide that Israel is our 51st state of the U.S.A.? Doesn’t Israel have a right to her own sovereignty? Besides, Israel has plenty of nuclear weapons within her arsenal to lay waste any country that decides to attack her. And why must we continue to send Israel foreign aid despite the fact that we are BROKE?
Report Post »Which reminds me, Herman Cain is a former chairman of two banks sponsored by the Federal Reserve, the PRIVATE central bank that’s the main reason why our economy is in shambles. He announced on radio that he has NO intention of auditing it, let alone do away with it. When will you sheeple wake up to those facts?!

Report Post »Perhaps because Israel is the greatest thing that we have over there. With their intelligence gathering, middle east monitoring as well as LOT of other things that they do that we could never do as well ourselves if we were over there. There is no one better qualified to do the things that Israel does for us nor do it anywhere as well. Not only would we do it less effectively if we were intelligence gathering etc. ourselves but it would cost us millions more than what Israel gets, PLUS virtually all the “support” we give to them is in business deals because a lot of the most effective weapons and “secret spy” stuff came from them which we buy and that is where they get their “support” from. Perhaps if you cared to find out things first you wouldn’t be so upset about us paying them money. It is ONLY the arab states (including the rich ones) that are getting “welfare” money from us. If we quit paying welfare to all the nations that we do, we would get back to having the largest, most powerful and most updated army of any nation by far. We would also have all the military that we would need to close down our borders and keep the illegal aliens out of here and all those other kinds of things. Like I said though, Israel has earned every dime that we have paid it and more! We are the one on the winning end of that agreement.

I really have to admit, that has got to be the funniest statement I’ve ever heard. Me…unaware of or “having my head in the sand” towards Barack Obama’s idea of breaking America apart, despite the FACT that I‘ve been COMPLETELY AWARE of his and Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven’s strategy FOR THE ENTIRE TIME HE’S BEEN PRESIDENT? What a joke! But of course, I can‘t really say that I’m surprised by baseless attacks such as this one, having understood that they abundantly come from people that let the neo-conservative/progressive lame-stream media choose Presidential candidates that they deem “capable of winning” for them.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 9:59amThere is in fact no formal defensive alliance between the US and Israel. All we have given are repeated US declarations of Israel’s right to existence and security and billions of dollars in military aid (rivalled only by our counterbalancing aid to Egypt and the Palestinians). What we have gotten, other than warm feelings of self-congratulation, the odd piece of intelligence, and of course the emnity of large swathes of the world’s Arab and Muslim population? I love listening to Glenn, but he is wrong.
You do not surround yourself with like-minded people.
You take your views to everyone else.
I read the articles on the Blaze everyday, but hardly ever comment( when I do, usually to a comment by a left winger ).
I use most of my comments for HP.
Whether you want to believe it or not, HP is one of the most popular Blog sites( If not the most ).
I read a post the other day that said – When did HP become a Right-Wing Blog site?
Everyday a 17,18,19etc. is looking at HP.
Don’t surround yourself with like-minded people. Give others a chance to make up their own minds.
With all that being said. I don’t think I share all the same views that you do( But most ).
I consider myself a Libertarian, who will ALWAYS stand with the right!

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 1:16amIt’s too bad that Herman Cain directly refutes the wisdom expressed by President George Washington in his Farewell Address of 1796:
“Once again making reference to proper behavior based upon religious doctrine and morality, Washington advocates a policy of good faith and justice towards all nations, and urges the American people to avoid long-term friendly relations or rivalries with any nation. He argues these attachments and animosity toward nations will only cloud the government’s judgment in its foreign policy. Washington argues that longstanding poor relations will only lead to unnecessary wars due to a tendency to blow minor offenses out of proportion when committed by nations viewed as enemies of the United States. He continues this argument by claiming that alliances are likely to draw the United States into wars which have no justification and no benefit to the country beyond simply defending the favored nation. Washington continues his warning on alliances by claiming that they often lead to poor relations with nations who feel that they are not being treated as well as America’s allies, and threaten to influence the American government into making decisions based upon the will of their allies instead of the will of the American people.”

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 3:24amYou’re spot on, Kid and so was George Washington. For some reason, Glenn Beck cites George Washington and then immediately makes the case for blind support of Israel. Beck’s position on Israel is hypocritcal and “wrong” … no other State has been recognized as legitimate based upon a religious book (Bible) or concept. No other State has been “created” based upon the unwitnessed promise made 4000 years ago by an invisible God. This idea is crazy and becomes even more nuts when you realize that most of the Israelis are atheists. (I am a Bible student).
Even if Christianity were the only religion on earth, which it is not, establishing a Nation State based upon the Bible without one iota of real evidence that clearly proves the claimants are the TRUE heirs and descendants of Abraham (which they are not) is ridiculous and the only thing that could make it more ridiculous would be if the Bible actually disputed the claim, WHICH IT DOES, only goes to show you how ignorant we have become.
Modern Jewry (Ashkenazi Jews) are NOT descended from Abraham, period. They descend from Japeth whereas Abraham descended from Shem. Again, the Bible is not a reasonable basis for establishing a secular Nation State even if these people claiming that it does [zionists] were actually descendants of Abraham, which they are not.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 6:10amIf you noticed the question Ron Paul received about abortion was nothing more than a attempt by Zionist Fox to erode his gaining support by conservative non neocon and Pro Life voters bc he believes the US needs to mind their own business and not be used by Israel to eliminate their enemies and finance their needs!!!!! Wake up America!!! If you can’t see the “Cult Like” statements blindly supporting Israel and the willingness of the vast majority of American Jews to put Israel first before America your blind!!! On Fox, the only conservative news network has only neocon Zionist conservative talking heads and you rarely if never get a view opposing Israel in anything they do!!! Their is not room for one non neocon critical of Israel in anyway on any issue!!! They give you choices of only neocon Zionist conservatism like Beck here and care nothing about America itself but to assist Israel and promote Global Nationalism!!! If your a true American thats 100% devoted to whats best for America then FOX is deceiving you! The Republican party has been taken over by neocon Zionists both Jewish and non Jewish like the Dems have been taken over by Progressive/Marxist/Communists!!!!! You see the majority of posters in this tread only care about support for Israel to get their vote!!! The more Zionists take over in the US the more Jesus Christ disappears from the public square!!! You have Jewish Marxists on the left and Jewish neocon Zionists on the right!! They will unite!

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 10:24amAm I wrong, or was Ron Paul the only candidate who didn’t get prompted to say how strongly he “stands by Israel?” Perhaps because his answer was predictable?
Washington was right to this extent: the US should never, ever pledge to support any foreign state no matter what that foreign state may do, indefinitely into the future. Even our formal treaty-based foreign alliances going back to 1949 I(NATO) have term limits and renegotiation and opt-out clauses, but not our commitment to Israel. This is where a foreign policy increasingly taken hostage by deranged evangelicals has led uks.

“The precept of the koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mahomet is the prophet of God… The vanquished may purchase their lives by the payment of tribute…” John Quincy Adams
Thomas Jefferson later reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress: “The ambassador (Adja) answered us that [Mussulman] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
President John Adams, in a letter to Mordecai Manuel Noah, 1819 said “Farther I could find it in my heart to wish that you had been at the head of a hundred thousand Israelites… & marching with them into Judea & making a conquest of that country & restoring your nation to the dominion of it. “…the Jewish hagana asked (using loudspeakers) Arabs to remain at their homes but the most of the Arab population followed their leaders who asked them to leave the country.” – The TIMES of London, reporting events of 22.4.48
“Since 1948 it is we who demanded the return of refugees… while it is we who made them to leave… We brought disaster upon… Arab refugees, by inviting them and bringing pressure to bear upon them to leave… We have rendered them dispossessed… We have accustomed them to begging… We have participated in lowering their moral and social level… Then we exploited them in executing crimes of murder, arson, and throwing bombs upon… men, women and children – all this in service of political purposes…” – Khaled al Azm, Syria’s Prime Minister

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 3:44amHe would have been well advised to shut up after saying he’d shut down the EPA. Just leave it there, the crowd went nuts, it was a great answer. Then he slipped up and let his big government instincts kick in, saying he’d remake the EPA into a better organization than it was before. Huh? So you’re telling us big government is good as long as a Republican is running it? You don’t think the New Cain EPA would “progress” into something much more sinister 20 years down the road like it has today? He’s a likable enough guy with some great one-liners, but that’s all they are. He’s standing up there with gimmicks like his 9-9-9 plan. How long do you think it would take for that 9% income tax rate to get jacked up into the stratosphere? And then on top of that we’d be paying a 9% national sales tax too. Dumb idea. Glenn said on his show Wednesday or Thursday that the progressive income tax came out in around 1914. They told us it would only be around 8%. Three years later it was 90%. Herman Cain is probably well-intentioned, but he doesn’t understand what would happen with his policies when someone else took office after him, or even what might happen in a time of “crisis” during his own presidency if he implemented such a plan. The only way to do a national sales tax is to repeal the progressive income tax from the constitution first so the politicians can’t hammer us with both.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 11:43amIts not the media’s pushing per se, though they have a contribution, put it is the polls and polsters. Either the polls are being intentionally skewed, or we got one whale of an ignorant republican base that is NOT reflective of Tea Party restoration of conservative and constitutional values.
Its hard for me to perceive, having had my eyes opened to who and what we are against in this country by Glenn’s shows, but apparently, taking the polls at face value, most of the republican voters don’t have a clue, and don’t realize it overlaps into the republican party as well. THAT can in part be attributed to so called conservative commentators in the news that are afraid to call a socialist a socialist, and present how anti-thetical it is to the constitution, and who are backed by the same leftist machine for the “conservative answer”.

Perfect, no. But pretty darn good.
