Looking for a place to hide out for a while, escape from it all like? Rockford, Ill., may be your dream destination.
Illinois has become the newest sanctuary state, not for illegal immigrants, but for Democrats looking for deep cover in avoiding the Democratic process in Indiana and Wisconsin. The city of Rockford is hoping to capitalize on its sudden influx of visitors with a cheeky new tourism ad:
It’s unclear whether an entire caucus booking hotel rooms is able to get a decent group rate, but if Dems play their cards right, Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel can announce a new economic development cottage industry for Chicago to house wayward Democrats from across the Midwest.

The Newspapers will have big envelopes of Benjamins. The Chicagao Way.
And they can steal the towels, “Legally”
Plus, every Wednesday night they will have a “Tea Party” crowd assembled and allow the Dems to use the water cannon. It will be like a theme park for Democrats.

Here when I ran away from work the boss fired me and I was really mad! So I joined a Union! Now I have my chair back :-)

Posted on February 26, 2011 at 1:47amRockford is a city in serious decay. Years ago it was a hub of economic activity with machine shops and a tool and die industry that was booming. I was in Rockford this summer and it’s pitiful when compared to what it used to be. It’s a hard core town fiercely loyal to the democratic party even though democratic rule in Illinois for over 50 years has proved to be a failed experiment. Shows to prove the libs/dems will embrace poverty and decay before they admit the “truth”. I personally would be embarrassed to show my face in Rockfordclaiming to be from the party responsible for their “condition”

The taxes along would bankrupt them—no matter what you do or buy the taxes are hugh! Having lived in IN we were the beneficiaries of it as all the Chicagoians came to IN to buy almost everything because our taxes were 1/4 the taxes in Chicago!

Posted on February 26, 2011 at 12:07pmDon’t know what to believe about anything anymore, but what I do know and believe is: these Dems from Wis. are making a foolish mistake. They need to vote if they want to be heard, not hide out like a bunch of fools in grade school. That’s how I see them. What else I believe is: How do these teachers have the nerve to collect money from taxpayers for not only overpaid wages, but what really pizzes me off is expecting taxpayers to pay out for their pensions which will be more than their wages in many cases. This is out & out fraud and stealing from the public. How can you hold your heads up and try to teach our children when you are so corrupt? (Too many bad teachers too.)
