Report Post »Oh, I think the Clintons are the ones who have been laughing long and hard. ‘ Keep your enemy closer’ does not mean put them on a pedestal, well titled and far removed from the chaotic fray of everything gone wrong. Hillary sits pretty, quaintly available to indulge in fluffy interviews while the rest of the Administration, and all those who wear her stripes, get bashed from every direction. She is the first ‘lady’ the incumbent must beat in 12. She’ll go rogue this winter and prove to be troublesome for those of us who took the poles this fall. But ultimately, though she is the better master of subtleties, she is already a woman of far too many unfavorable words. The jargon, sentiment and expectations of American changes. She, having no ability to keep pace, will open the door for a Democratic dark horse, maybe two. Should we weather the gathering financial storm, the Dems will be a disastrous skit in 12. Hold the course, stay diligent and vigilant, America.

Posted on November 9, 2010 at 9:50amNot only is she gaining international “cred”, but she also is hovering outside the economic malaise, her hands are no where near any recent bailouts, stimulus, HCR, Financial Reform, etc. – I have been told for almost two decades how smart she is, so I have to assume she saw what was going down in D.C., projected the likely trajectory, and decided to sit this out, waiting for the economy to get back on track (or have Obama bear the brunt of the blame) then ride in on her white horse to save the day.
