Hillary Denies Prez Ambitions…Despite Being Called ‘President’ in New Zealand

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (The Blaze/AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is once again slapping down speculation that she harbors ambitions for another presidential run, despite a slip up by New Zealand’s Prime Minister suggesting otherwise.
In New Zealand on Friday, Clinton told a pair of television interviewers that she won‘t run for president even in the aftermath of this week’s congressional midterms that saw Republicans take control of the House and make big gains in the Senate. Some have suggested that Clinton should take advantage of President Barack Obama’s unpopularity to make a new bid.

She said she is very happy doing what she is doing as America’s top diplomat and replied “not me” when asked if she could be the first female president of the United States.
Yet New Zealand‘s Prime Minister John Key doesn’t seem to think so. During a joint press conference Key accidentally referred to Clinton as “president.” The slip up immediately caused chuckles, and Clinton buried her hand in her face while smiling.
“Secretary Clinton… close…” he continued before concluding the conference.

He’s not bright enough organizationally to do it. He’s a community agitator, she is a behind the scenes Maestro. With the power she would have wielded, we’d already be using Euros to buy groceries.
