History Repeating: Greek Neo-Nazi Party Threatens to Throw Immigrants and Their Children Out of Hospital, Into the Streets

As Greece’s political and economic future hangs in the balance, one of the country’s contending political parties has vowed to raid hospitals and kindergarten schools in order to remove immigrants and their children “so that Greeks can take their place” if they are elected into power.

Not surprisingly, this threat came from the country’s extremist Neo-Nazi party, Golden Dawn, during a campaign rally on Monday. And as they say, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

“If Chrysi Avgi [Golden Dawn] gets into parliament, it will carry out raids on hospitals and kindergartens and it will throw immigrants and their children out on the street so that Greeks can take their place,” Golden Dawn MP Ilias Panagiotaros said to thunderous applause, according to the Guardian.

Following Greece’s May 6 election, no party earned enough votes to take control of the government and deliver the country from limbo. However, Golden Dawn got roughly 7 percent of the total vote (more than half of police officers voted for the party).

In an extremely important election for both Greece and the European Union, voters will go to the polls for a second general election this Sunday. Opinion polls suggest Golden Dawn will win more than the 3 percent needed to earn Parliamentary seats. In that sense, Greece may get what they ask for.

The Guardian explains why Golden Dawn‘s proposal isn’t being dismissed as insane:

Medical supplies and beds at some hospitals are running desperately short. The governor of the state-run Nikea hospital, Theodoros Roupas, called on doctors to stop non-essential surgical interventions because of a critical shortage of gloves, syringes and gauze. The order was revoked when Roupas found emergency supplies later in the day.

“The situation is really critical and getting worse every day,” said Dr Panaghiotis Papanikolaou, a neurosurgeon at the hospital. “There is not enough medical staff to cope and huge shortages of supplies. There’s no money to even service scanners and surgical microscopes … we’re talking about a major healthcare crisis – not in the making, it is happening now.”

The paralysis spawned by six weeks of political instability following Greece‘s indecisive poll on 6 May has exacerbated the country’s parlous public finances. Sunday‘s fresh general election is viewed as decisive for the county’s future in the euro.

Alexis Tsipras, leader of the leftwing Syriza alliance, said it was obvious that Greece’s rudderless state could no longer continue. A government had to be formed. “The country has to have a government, be it of the right or left,” he said. Syriza is neck and neck with the conservative New Democracy party.

“The next 10 days following the election are extremely important,” he said referring to a host of critical EU meetings, including an emergency summit scheduled at the end of the month.”

So far, 2012 has been absolutely devastating for Greece as the country has suffered a crippling financial crisis, which ultimately led to riots and violence in the streets.

The Daily Mail points out that Golden Dawn has engaged in violence against immigrants before, claiming there is not enough money or resources for non-Greeks. Members of the group have also reportedly “clashed” with left-wing and anarchist groups.

Additionally, The Blaze recently reported on a member of the Neo-Nazi party throwing a glass of water at one politician and attacking another female Communist with Greece’s far-left Syriza party, repeatedly striking her in the head. The chaos was captured on live TV.

Nazis battling Communists, sound familiar to anyone?

According to MSNBC, the man who struck the woman, Ilias Kasidiaris, is now suing his victims for defamation. He is also suing the private TV station for wrongful detention after being locked in a room for his outburst.

      I still fail to see how the Golden Dawn party is “extremist Neo Nazi’s” just because they want a Greece for Greek people and are fed up with their leaders and others selling out Greek citizens to foreigners and illegals. This is the same thing that is happening in America, sell out American citizens to illegals and foreigners but if you are against this happening you are an extremist Neo Nazi. It seems to me we need a Golden Dawn party in America before America becomes a Chinese province, a giant Mosque or a 3rd world wasteland overrun with illegals and their piles of anchor babies that we have to slave away from sun up to sun down to support while they ride around in their new cars and relax in their government housing to do some online shopping to spend their fraudulent 10k tax return that they stole from the US taxpayer.       You’re generally correct in your statement about G-d and politics. G-d absolutely doesn’t expect charity to begin in parliament but in parlors (or at kitchen tables). But to really understand between faith and government you have to go back further than the New Covenant.

      Start in Exodus, with the covenant treaty forged between G-d and the Children of Israel. (Look up Ancient Near Eastern Suzerain Treaty for more detail than I have room for here). G-d formed that treaty not with a nation, not with a king representing his people, but with the people themselves. Some would argue that it is formed between G-d and the representatives of the tribes / family groups. G-d never intended for there to be a government between the faithful and Himself. He didn’t give Israel a king until they asked for it.

      But Israel was given a king and that king was given authority; specifically the authority of the sword; read that as the right to enforce laws and wage war. And with that came the authority to tax. Don’t panic; that’s not a pro-tax statement. Most people jump on the “Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s “ line and totally miss the whole point; that point being the second phrase, “Give unto G-d that which is G-d”. There is so much more to that lesson than just money; it’s a lesson about being a good citizen to both kingdoms, your nation and the Kingdom of Heaven.

      Based on your remark, you didn’t understand what I meant saying that “left/right” is an idiotic type of classification.
      “Left/right” are notions of spatial orientation, which, when applied to ideologies/philosophies/politics, i.e. abstract categories, reveal the very early, i.e. primitive, stage of thinking, on a level of H0M0 Erectus, long before H0M0 Sapiens.
      It’s not much different from assigning certain moods to a “Left” group, and other moods – to a “Right” group of emotions.
      If primitivism becomes a modern way of thinking, we are definitely dealing with mass clinical idiocy.
      Could you explain to me so that I can agree, why Bolsheviks are commonly called “Left” and Nazis – “Right”? Why not vice versa? Why not Northwest as opposed to Southeast? Or vice versa? Etc.

This was the same straw man argument used by John McCain. He told a town hall meeting that we needed the illegals to pick lettuce because if Americans did it, they would take $75/hour. Either way, I’m not sure how this is a sane argument. You pat yourself on the back for exploiting people and keeping wages artificially low?

      I live in the DC area; a veritable boom town. Mostly high-tech with not much need of manual labor; so you’re unlikely to find illegals here right? Wrong. If you go into a Costco in Greenbelt, you see more hijabs/niqabs than you would on an Emirates flight. If you go to one in Sterling, you would think you made a wrong turn at New Dehli. The fact is, immigrants are being imported to throw the balance of power and alter society; not even beginning to mention chain migration. If you don’t like your calls being routed/outsourced to these countries, you’re in for a rude awakening when these non-assimilating people/cultures are surrounding you.

    The middle class in virtually all “first world” countries is disappearing. Europe, US, Japan, you name it.

    We tried this noble experiment, a New World Order of open trade. The poor of the third world would be raised to our level and we would al become brain surgeons and computer programmers, skilled jobs.

    And with the interlocking trade, it would put an end to the WWII kind of wars over natural resources.

    Well, there’s been no WWIII, there’s that. But the poor of the third world weren’t raised to our level, and we didn’t all become brain surgeons and computer programmers. The rich got richer (for now) and the middle class was decimated. The middle class of virtually every first world country has been in the streets.

    And you could eliminate all taxes on the rich, and “stimulate” the economy with ten Trillion dollars of pork barrel giveaways, and it wouldn’t change that fact in the slightest. It’ll still be cheaper to use slave labor overseas.

    Greece, the Tea Party, all of it is the same cause, they don’t know that, but it is. Is it obscene how immigrants are used as scabs to drive the middle class into poverty? Of course. And if the only ones that defend that position is the Nazis, they’re going to get a lot of votes, just like 80 years ago in Germany.

      If words have meaning, there is a middle class. I hate the notion of class struggle and identifying people that way too, but it’s a mathematical fact that ALL first world countries are losing their middle class. It’s extremely rich or extremely poor, it‘s a real thing and it’s pure evil.

      The US used to be a place where a poor kid could better herself, where there was no class structure, but we’ve gone from first to the absolute last in the entire first world in social mobility. If born poor in the US, you’re gonna stay poor.     Golden dawn IS NOT a Nazi party, they have been labeled this by the media due to the fact they want to deport the illegal mu-slum immigrants (approx. 2 million in a tiny country).     I’m trying to understand what is so controversial here. We complain about illegals abusing our hospitals, too. I guess when people start threatening to enact the policies most here would champion on paper, people go all weak in the knees. When the government doesn’t act to protect your tax dollars and spends decades forcing multiculturalism down your throat, what do you propose as a means to an end? What is so terrible about throwing non-contributors into the street or out of the country so long as it has nothing to do with race/gender/religion? I suspect, regardless of all the rhetoric and hyperbole found here, most of you would still err on the side of altruism with other peoples’ money. Keep chasing your tails, I guess.

      The Left = government action to impose a will on people as opposed to free people making choices. Greece, like most countries of the west, have allowed Leftist governments to take root, and having been in place for so long, they have manipulated markets, destroyed freedom, and done things that have resulted in the chaos we see exploding.

      The motivation to keep a country in the hands of the Greeks, the rightful owners of their lands, is a problem long in the tooth. Now evil is becoming an attractive alternative to purge people the Left invited in long ago. These people were likely invited in from lands far and wide to replace the workers who never were born due to abortions and a hedonistic lifestyle most in the West have practiced for years.

      We have the same issue here in the U.S. We have aborted our future, and we import the labor, only to find that these foreigners will replace us in our own lands. It is a natural progression when people lose their way and abandon God.

      The young in Greece are now 3-4 generations removed from WWII. They failed to learn from history so they are repeating it. Same with a lot of the young people in this country are now thinking that socialism is the way to go. They are becoming exactly what the young did in Lenin’s day, “Useful Idiots”.

      My father fought in WWII and Korea. He taught me a lot about the enemy in those wars. I passed that on to my sons in the hopes that they would remember that history and pass it to their children. The Greatest Generation are fast fading from this world. If we don’t keep history and its lessons ingrained into our society, you will have people that think the Holocaust never happened and think such idiot things like “Pearl Harbor was concocted by the FBI”. But Golden Dawn’s sentiment is not very different from that of Americans who complain about illegal aliens enjoying American education, health care and social services at the expense of “real Americans.”

If Obama care goes into effect people over fifty well you get the picture might as well go buy you plot or urn. The economy is so bad that over 60% of people in the US can’t get their hands on a thousand dollars!!!! Hospitals under funded already due to the economy.

      Israel has given more to the Palenstinians in food and medical aid and employment but if they have kicked out illegal immigrants than that is their right I only wish the bonehead Obama would learn . They get on welfare right away. I know of some that the husband works but the wife tells the state she is not married but has seven kids by the same man, food stamps, free medical and cash. The. West is broke and Israel is smarter than most.

      The video and article in my above post. Also, I believe the rhetoric is the same in every nation, and I agree with that rhetoric. I am just saying that when others use it it is criminal but when Israel or America uses it we accept it. Europe is under the gun with illegal and legal immigration in ways that we in America have not yet encountered. The EU is so liberal it has forced immigration on the citizens against their will. Of course they will be more reactionary. Why not forcefully remove illegals who bury broke hospitals? We encounter failing hospitals in the southwest, caving under illegal immigrants. Why shouldn’t we forcefully remove them? Why shouldn’t the Golden Dawn? Someone has to do it, and while I ultimately do not like authoritarianism of any stripe, right or left, at least these “extremists” have some b**ls and act on their convictions.

    It is coming folks. The Euro isnt going to go away peacefully. Since the only functioning economy over there is Germany which doesnt have to pay for a military because we pay for it we will be right in the middle of it.

    I am so glad we tied ourselves to these countries. This 70 year illusion that all of Europe loves each other is a joke. The only bright side is with the Euro collapsing the dollar will follow so we might be dealing with our own internal wars so Americans might not be there again. We might be having our own Hilters and Stalins rising.

      That may be true but notice he didn’t say illegal. Nor did he say that they would be doing this for the benefit of tax-paying citizens but for “Greeks”, which means to me indicates that this isn’t going to end well. Regardless, if the government can kick people out of hospitals and schools that means they are either too involved or they are running both, neither of which is a good thing.

      The cold hard facts are being ignored, so intensely have Americans been brainwashed by the PC crowd.

      These Nazis, or whatever they are, amount to a small fraction of the population. The greatest threat to immigrants in Greece are the regular rank and file.

      When the EU decided to take in immigrants, they had a grand plan to increase their tax and consumer base in order to become economically more powerful than the US. In the pursuit of that plan, immigrants and asylum seekers were put on the public dole, supposedly for a limited time until they merged with the work force and happily contributed to the government tax coffers and the bank accounts of the corporate greed mongers.

      But it didn’t work out that way. They got on the dole and stayed there, never getting jobs, never assimilating and very few even bothered to learn the language.

      Well, now, money for their benefits is coming out of the pockets of hard working Greeks, and considerable animosity is growing against these foreigners, which is getting pretty intense.

      This is true throughout the EU in every country to one degree or another.

      And, as the situation continues to worsen, anti-immigrant sentiment will continue to increase until there is fighting in the streets between various tribes, in addition to anti-government riots, because of austerity measures.

      Many analysts are predicting an ouster of immigrants and an eventual break up into nation states.
