‘Hit the Road, Barack’: Beck Examines Newsweek‘s Provocative But ’True’ Feature Story

By now, the Internet is abuzz with speculation about Newsweek’s new cover story. For those unfamiliar, historian  Niall Ferguson penned the featured article, titled, “Hit the Road, Barack.” Yes. The same Newsweek that dubbed Rep. Michele Bachmann the “Queen of Rage” and mocked GOP nominee Mitt Romney for being a “wimp” now asserts that President Obama is inept when it comes to economics and that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan’s “path to prosperity is our only hope.”

An opportunity this good does not come along every day. With that in mind, Glenn Beck took to his studio on Monday evening to break down what “hit the road” really means to the now-disenchanted liberal establishment. Fear not — they haven’t had an epiphany, but they aren’t too pleased with the one they believed would bring them “Hope and Change.”

    If you thought Obama was the anti-christ then I lol….he’s just a precursor.

    Truth is, the worst hasn’t even started. A Mormon might just get elected at the beginning of it all.

    So much for the White Horse Prophecy right? It’s the only happy prophecy given by any prophet regarding the survival of America as a free country as far as I have studied into history & religion…

    Who knows…maybe it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy in this case…or have all prophecies been self-fulfilled…

    What if there were no such things as prophets…just con-men that care about people. LOLZ

    I’d like to think that prophets are real…not for my sake…but for everyone else that needs a light to follow.

    Glenn Beck is now a Mason who fancies himself a Moses…or a Joseph Smith. I can say that Joseph Smith was a better man. He didn’t sell his soul for 50 million.

    I wish Beck was actually Mormon and not just using their phrases and terminology…I mean…For Fact’s Sake he was a drunkard & a radio show host for how many years? How deep down into the rabbit hole did he go in order to end up where he is now? Does anyone actually trust Talk-Radio or TV-News? Or in this case…Internet?

    ps: Alex Jones is allied with Marxist & Illuminati & Glenn Beck is a $50 million PET who employs people who flash handsigns….wtf

      I‘m a former Mormon and Mormons don’t make symbolic gestures except for the uplifted right arm…signifying that they are on the right hand of God…where the Son is. The bent right knee in token of submission to God. The Penal Oath reflecting personal conviction to the Work. (Masons, Knights Templar, Samurai, & Native Americans did the same thing, as well as other non-masonic groups practiced the penal oath…except our politicians protecting the Constitution…that’s not really a penal oath sadly)

      Everything else is not considered Mormon and I have never seen any Mormon much less Beck use any gestures that the common man wouldn’t use.

    Read article by National Review brain dead Idiot liberal lamenting the downfall of Newsweek because they fare criticize the chosen one our dear leader.

    He mentions GH Bush ‘wimp factor’ cover as legitimate. A WWII fighter pilot shot down while on a mission taking out *** communications tower crashes in sea and rescue by a sub is a wimp? Lol

    Have any of these liberals seen Barack Obama throw a baseball he looks like a six year old girl!

    How about his macho bike pics with his little bell on the handle bars, his helmet, and white socks showing those have Putin shaking in his shoes.

    Or how about his splashing around in the surf on his ‘boogie board’ the guy has no muscles on bis chest and you’d be lucky to find a hair!  Id bet he shaves once a week as well he’s so testosterone laden he makes John Wayne look like a girlie man!  Lol

    You know we are all up a creek without a paddle. If Congress would have listened to David Walker maybe 18 yrs. ago, we would have stood a chance. As it stands, all that anyone can do is keep kicking the can….. Or, we could stop funding the UN, IMF, All Subsidies, Fire All Librals and end all INTITALMENTS.     Hopefully, Newsweek has finally “seen the light”. One… with any intelligence hopes this is true.
    After reading what Obama said about Veteran’s medical coverage, he should be ousted, and ousted very quickly. He should not be able to run for another term. It was trulyl disgusting.

      Your ‘gut’ feeling that Newsweek’s sales are down is correct, however because it ‘appears’ that the institutionally treasonous press is now ready to tell the truth -their sales on THIS ISSUE are enormous! Go figure.

    Everything about Obama is a fake. He even has fake family pics on his FACEBOOK page. There is a pic of him with his mother, sister and grandfather at the airport. His mother is photoshopped into the pic over someone else who was originally in the photo. Only problem is, whoever did the photoshopping forgot one thing. His mother has a BLACK hand. For real. Check it out. facebook.com/barackobama/photos look at the album, Barack and his mother Ann. Her right hand is black. Most think that Frank Marshall Davis was the person who was originally in the photo.

    A subject in the news, an arrow, and a snotty comment to support the arrow.

    The Federal Government just gave former Marine, Brandon Raub credibility for his cause and concerns by their extreme actions. He is not the only U.S. Citizen talking about ‘Revolution’ if things don’t change after the election. To handcuff him and forcibly detain him for psychiatric evaluation for a month when he has committed no crimes is what is criminal. This is a work-around of Brandon’s ‘Constitutional Rights’ so they can suppress his speech and intimidates others who might agree with him. It is an attempt to suppress free speech against the U.S. Government and keep Citizens from organizing.

    : Brandon Raub is a former U.S. Marine, Decorated combat veteran, and he founded the Richmond Liberty Movement, based in Virginia. Brandon was arrested by government officials last night over some “terroristic” posts he made on Facebook.     Ferguson’s claims are misleading because the CBO report does not say that ACA will add to the defecit. He is deliberately misleading readers, conveying the impression that the CBO had actually rejected Obama’s claim that health reform is deficit-neutral, when in fact the opposite is true. You would think a publication like Newsweek would do some fact checking or have a fact checking department…but they don’t

      It should be called UNAFFORDABLE HEALTH TAX

      I guess from your writting you don’t get out much. What kind of pub do you think NEWSWEEK is? It is the national inquier in book form and their mission in life is to promote the DEM party. So, it must seem strange to you that they would deviate from the norm and publish such a scandalous piece! Wow! And if the CBO or anyone else tells you that OBAMA care will be deficit neutral, i.e. won’t add to the deficit, and you believe it, then you are just another sucker who’s bought into their line of BS. Yeah, it won’t go up, sure it won’t. But you can bet the farm your taxes will!!!!!

    Don’t get your hopes up … the PROGRESSIVES are disappointed that their Dear Leader (designated fool) didn’t do their bidding the first round … they simply forgot the Chicago thug way … do what ya gotta until you can do whatcha want … Putin was told, but he‘s rubbing the Chairman’s face in the “wait until after the election” gaff …

    Back to the point … yes … he does need to be gone … remember, however, that he is based in Chicago (land of the voting dead) and he is a communist (the end justifies the means) and he is the liberals darling (they forgot he is half white) and Liberalism is a mental health epidemic. Also … they believe that the Chicago way can be exported Nationally (evidence Holder and his attack on States voting laws) …

    When will anybody figure out that these people are totally irrelevant to a functioning government? And that the criminals currently in charge haven’t been challenged by law? And that NOBODY has the balls to enforce their sworn duty to protect and defend the CONSTITUTION from these traitors?

    And that Congress is in violation of law by not passing budgets? Let alone their total disreguard for constitutional consideration of what they DO pass … Move the center of government to Colorado and bury Washington in sand …starting over might mean meaningful governance.
