Hoax? Creepy Pic Claims to Show Strange Creature in Louisiana Woods

If you go down to the woods tonight… you probably won’t believe your eyes.

Because judging by footage from a hunting firm’s website, this crouching phantom looks like Spider-Man has swung on to the set of the Blair Witch Project.

A deer hunter in the U.S. posted a video said to feature the creature on the Wildgame Innovations website – and the piercing white eyes aren’t the sort you would want to meet on a dark night.

The hunter, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was so frightened he said he broke the camera but retrieved the image from its undamaged memory chip.

The picture was taken on a reserve in Berwick near Morgan City, Louisiana.

Skeptics will quickly give credence to this report from MovieWeb:

More disturbing images have crept up on the Internet today in regards to J.J. Abrams‘s sci-fi thriller Super 8. No real plot details have been revealed at this time, but we do know that the story will gleefully nod to the past works of Steven Spielberg, primarily the science fiction movies he made in the late 70s and early 80s.

Last Friday, a piece of concept art claiming to reveal an alien monster from the project started making the rounds. It has yet to be verified. Now, a strange photo has come forward, which is purported to be from Super 8. It first appeared on Wildgame Innovation‘s Facebook page. It is a picture reportedly snapped by a deer hunter on a reserve in Berwick, near Morgan City, Louisianna. It was originally being passed off as real, but now inside sources close to the production say its actually a viral image from Super 8.

If it is viral marketing, it’s working, even MSNBC is talking about the picture:

There is even video from a young Weirton, West Virginia extra called “Crying Girl”, who talks about having a run in with this creature in the movie.

In the scene, the little girl in question is said to be trapped on an airplane with her mother, where she comes in contact with this scary creature, which the young actress refers to as “a zombie”.

      Interesting you say he was wrong about a couple of where his actual comments were, it COULD happen; Hyperinflation and collapse of the dollar. He has repeatedly shown people in positions of power, saying they want to cause that in their own words.
      Recovery of the stock market? Have watched him, and listened to at least 90% of his shows for 2 years, and never heard him say the market would, or would not, recover. He has said the market is risky (NEWSFLASH lol).

      Never once heard him say that Van Jones would attempt assignation, (other than character, and career assassination). And that was said that Van Jones, and OTHERS were making that attempt via boycotts, and mis-quotes.

      Computer takeovers? He asked the question, as to why it was necessary to grant full access to the “Gub’ment” to those computers, when accessing cash for clunkers. It was true that in signing in, you granted that access. Why was it needed? Never heard an answer.

      CNSF you sure you arnt referring to Alex Jones?

      Too bad you haven’t listened to him for a full show. Otherwise, you would hear him say repeatedly not to take his word on anything, but to do your own research.

      Great advise for you. Maybe suggest that for the bluffington post.

      pipester, I listen to Beck’s show every day and I have the bleeding ears to prove it. It’s pointless to argue and nitpick about things he said rightly or wrongly. That debate could drag on for years. I think a better and more productive discussion would center around his general message of the imminent arrival of god (in our lifetimes is what Beck said earlier this week. I think the exact quote was “we will see the finger of god, no the ARM of god, in our lifetimes, so get ready.), the end of western civilization, and his recommendation and strong endorsement of the idiot book “The Five Thousand Year Leap”, whose author was frowned upon by Beck’s own Mormon Church. In fact, it appears Glenn was not even aware of the fact that the Motmon Church distanced itself from Skousen years ago.

      So a general discussion of the populist claptrap and fantastical spiritial weirdness Beck poisons the airwaves with would be more appropriate.

      He predicted Gold would skyrocket. Check.
      He said the government would begin monetizing the debt, despite Bernanke’s denial. Check.
      He predicted the collapse of the EU. It‘s well on it’s way.
      He predicted the meltdown of Greece with Ireland, Portugal and Spain next. Check check, coming soon and right after that.
      He predicted coming inflation. Remove the collapsed real estate values form the equation, and it’s already here. Prices on everything are constantly rising, though wages and property values are declining.
      He predicted violent riots in Europe. Check. Coming to a city near us.
      He predicted increasing loss of personal liberty under leftists, exactly what leftists accused Bush of, that would make anything Bush did look Pollyannish. Check.
      He predicted that Soros would attempt to subvert our system through front groups, and attempt to collapse our currency. Check and remains to be seen.
      He told us public employee unions were in bed with communists. Check.
      He told us socialists were using labor unions to advance their agendas. Check.
      He predicted the healthcare bill would cause insurance rates to go up, not down, moving us toward a single payer system Democrats publicly insisted they weren’t working toward. Check.
      He predicted China would stop buying our debt and dump the dollar if we continued to devalue it by printing money with no assets behind it. Check.

      Okay, so I couldn’t care less whether you like Glenn Beck or not(although if you hate him so much I wonder why you continue to torture yourself by listening every day?). However, when you start talking about the Mormon Church as if you are an authority, that’s where I take issue. Here’s some info that might be helpful:
      1.) Skousen is a respected Mormon scholar, nothing more. The church never “distanced” themselves from him because he was never a recognized authority on doctrine in the first place. The Mormon Church is structured differently than most protestant denominations in that there is a definite line of authorized leadership consisting of a Prophet, Apostles, etc. Only these individuals are authorized to represent the church and direct the general membership regarding doctrine. Skousen never claimed any such authority, nor did he have it. He is just an individual with his own opinions. So to say that the Church “distanced” themselves from him is ridiculous and untrue. His opinions are not doctrine, but are generally considered scholarly and well-researched.
      2.) The phrase “arm of God” is a term in the Book of Mormon that means a lot of different things, but it doesn’t mean the Second Coming. Glenn knows this, but obviously you don’t.
      Again, no problem with you hating Glenn Beck. He annoys a lot of people, so get in line. But don‘t spout off about things you clearly don’t understand. It creates misconceptions and bothers the people who actually are informed on the subject.

      a minor point, to most, but important to christians:
      The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not a “protestant denomination” in the generally understood sense of the phrase.
      It is a totally different religious belief, using many of the same words, with wildly different underlying meanings. Not the least of which is the doctrine of achievement of godhood through the perfection of the individual “soul” by personal effort (works in christian vernacular).With the “reward” of creating your own universe and populating it by eternal intercourse with your many wives, whom you have personally “called from the grave”, if they have been sealed to you in the temple. This is only open to men, by the way, ladies must choose the right husband.
      I don’t disagree with the politics, but let’s do be clear on details.

      Yes, you’re right – Mormonism is not technically a protestant religion – I just used that term for comparative purposes. As for your understanding of Mormon doctine, it is obvious that you are getting your information from some source that is very anti-mormon and you don’t really know what you are talking about. My suggestion – go to the source if you want to really understand the beliefs of a particular religion. Otherwise, you are probably misinformed.

      This pic was taken by a camera that they attach to a tree to get pics of deer while they are feeeding on the food that someone left out so the hunter can get an idea of the bucks in the area that he is hunting!

      Looked at this in photoshop… some of the bottom is the original photo but most of the upper part was taken out and replaced with black. Looks like the eyes are underwater googles. Definitively altered.
