Father Slits Daughters Throats in Honor Killing After Raped by Ghaddafi Forces

Another alleged Libyan Rape Victim Eman al-Obeidy

In what seems like an unimaginable tale, a Libyan father allegedly slit his three teenage daughters‘ throats after he found out that they were raped by Gaddafi’s troops during the siege of the port city of Misrata. The Daily Mail has more:

The father is said to have carried out the ‘honour killings’ because of his humiliation and shame at the rape of the sisters – aged 15, 17 and 18 – in Tomina, on the outskirts of Misrata. The victims were not named.

This “honor killing” is documented in a report by a Boston-based group called Physicians for Human Rights (PHR). Sadly, this is just one of the horrific stories to emerge after PHR sent team members to Misrata back in June. Researchers interviewed 54 residents, then followed the discussions up with the report. Through its text, readers are exposed to stories about Libyan war crimes and violence. According to Bloomberg, the report reads:

“The rule of law must be the bedrock of a new and free Libya,” the group said in the report released today. The rebels’ National Transitional Council “must ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice and held accountable.”

In addition to this story, PHR found that civilians were forced to act as human shields, children were hoisted onto tanks, and rape was widely and tragically used as a war weapon. A local school was purportedly turned into a prison of sorts where women were frequently raped.

Stories of rape and violence against women, though, aren’t new. Earlier this summer, The Blaze reported on the story of Eman al-Obeidy, the Libyan woman who claims she was gang raped by Gadhafi’s security forces:

The NY Daily News has more about what witnesses had to say about rape as a tool of war in Libya:

Witnesses said that Khadafy purposely chose rape as a tool of war because he knew this fatal outcome would happen.

“If Khadafy destroys a building it can be rebuilt,” one source told investigators. “But when Khadafy rapes a woman, the whole community is destroyed forever. He knows this, and so rape is his best weapon.”

Tragically, many Libyan women and families have been impacted by this horrific behavior. In the case of the father and his three young girls, the shame was so deeply felt that the honor killings seemed like a viable method of handling the fallout. Considering that this is only one anecdotal example, once the conflict is over other similar stories are likely to appear.

    Soon a judge in the States and/or Canada will find this father NOT guilty when he allows Sharia Law to govern in cases like this. God help us all if/when this ever occurs…

    If the story/stories is/are true perhaps the world should punish the males who think doing this is okay? For every woman killed in that country- kill 100 men who think it’s okay. If that doesn’t make them stop this vicious practice – rev it up to killing 1,000 men for every woman killed. Still not enough? Keep reving it up until the point is made to stop it. If there are no men left in the country because they want to stick by this practice, oh well.

    They want to live in the Stone Age then they earn Stone Age punishment for killing woman and children for so-called “honor”.

    Tie these into the message of where the new Constitution, as reported by the Blaze a few days ago, is to be centered on the Sharia Law, and much more will happen before the dust settles. For the people of Libya, the real nightmare is now beginning, and may remain for ages to come.

      That‘s because the rebels are more than just ’the people’ uprising against a tyrant. Gadafi, Ghadafi, Kadafi, however you want to spell it, wasn’t the best thing in the world although he DID bring them out of the 3rd world status, BUT these rebels are OUR Enemy, they are who OUR leaders say are terrorists and they just gave them the keys to a HUGE arsenal if military weapons. So NOW of course we‘re going to have to go in there in a ’real‘ war because we don’t want them coming here to use them on us. More of the same. I’m beginning to have problems with the blaze and with Glenn. I use to be his biggest supporter, but i‘m beginning to see trends that i just can’t ignore. The Blaze is going along with the MSM on this war and not reporting what’s REALLY going on over there. BBC got caught showing a video of “Green Square celebrating” after rebels took it over. Only it was INDIA with the INDIAN flag flying. Sheesh. They sent an email back to the man that spotted it and reported it to them. An EMAIL. no retraction, and said his ‘report’ had been recorded in the viewer report archives. Come on people. Glenn woke me up and made me hungry but he’s not feeding me anymore, only starvation rations. Other’s have woke me up completely and NOW I see Glenn and the Blaze for what they are. He‘s right DO YOUR HOMEWORK look far ’the REST of the story.’

      @TheWholeTruth… Glenn told how it would happen..before he left Fox and he has been right on. The muslim Brotherhood are not our friends. If there are any failures in reporting now, it is because Glenn hired a MSM person who thought it might be interesting to work for his media. I am quite sure that he doesn’t know what is going on as he is busy with his GBTV. I certainly don’t understand his logic in hiring her though. It’s like putting wolf in with the lambs. But then of course, this is what has happened to the country as a whole.It’s okay though..there wil be retribution although it won’t help us a darn bit. because sadly , biblically, we are not supposed to take pleasure in other’s misfortunes.

      @Ashestoashes I understand that there are wolves. What I don’t understand is that Glenn always has a big thing about connecting the dots but he only goes so far then he quits. If anyone goes to the ‘untouchable’ dots he laughs at them and is down right RUDE. Take the next logical steps from the information he gives and you come to the CFR and other ‘secret’ organizations that Kennedy himself warned about before he was taken out. The CFR is not a government organization, it is foreign policy think tank (we all know what those are) and they began with Wilson, one of Glenn‘s ’favorite’ (tongue in cheek there) Presidents. Obama’s administration is rife with CFR members as were all the presidents since Wilson. When you look at all the false flags happening all around us it’s more than just the president or spooky dude. It is a system that goes beyond these guys and it’s been here for a long long time. When I first read “The Planned Destruction of America” I was a little skeptical of some of the things in there (it was written in the mid 90′s) but then those things that I was not sure of started happening. It‘s going ’by the book.‘ I’m going out on a limb here because people think he’s a nut case (kinda like they do Glenn) but Alex Jones has had just as many if not more predictions that have been spot on. Did the blaze cover the ‘white al-qaeda’ promos from DHS? Did Glenn? Alex us abrupt but he goes where angels fear to tread.

      @THE WHOLE TRUTH Thank you for that link. I know that it is not just the Palestinians that teach their children that, but all the madrassas, more than likely even here in the states.     You will sometimes hear clowns try to say that honor killings are not part of Islam, that honor killings are from “before” Islam and merely a cultural thing. Well if Islam wasn’t such an evil religion, if it actually taught even a tiny bit of love for others, any society taken over by Islam would have eventually stopped honor killing. So that is how honor killing is part of Islam even if it did exist before Islam invaded and subjugated the entire population. The teachings of Islam only make it worse.

    This father was deceived by an evil religion to believe that death by his hands was better than living with the humiliation they would unjustly face. Don’t blame the deceived, blame the deceivers which ultimately lands at Satan’s feet. I pray that God will shine the light of truth and bring justice for all the victims of this deception soon, especially the children.

      seriously and how about little girls being married in the crib, well i guess since the 50 yr old “husband” waits to have sex with here until she is old enough to withstand his weight (about 8 yrs old) its okay. i am sure he wasn’t molesting her the entire time. i guess they only care about women’s rights when i comes to matters of the womb not serious injustices to women as a whole. ugh God please

      @Maumau, and don’t forget how “gentle” these husbands are when they have intercourse with their young brides. At the end of this story, the author tells us about a 13-year-old who died from ruptured internal organs thanks to her gentle and considerate older husband. Disgusting.

      Why don‘t the lefty women’s groups call out those responsible for abuse such as this??? It makes me sick to think that organizations like NOW are silent when these things come to light but will scream bloody murder when someone wants to have women view an ultrasound picture of their unborn baby before they have an abortion.
