Horrified Mom Finds Crotchless Panties For Sale at Colo. Children’s Store

Crotchless Panties For Sale at Colorado Childrens Store Prompt Outrage | Kids N Teen

Erin French was visiting a Greeley, Colo. mall with her family when she made a startling discovery: Next to a children’s play area was a “Kids N Teen” clothing store for young girls. It was selling underwear — or a distinct lack thereof.

“They have cuddly little stuffed animal backpacks and pretty little princess dresses,” French told Denver NBC affiliate KUSA-TV. “Then we saw crotchless panties.”

French said she was mortified and quickly took out her cell phone to capture images of the crotchless thongs for sale near the rest of the children’s merchandise at the store. Though the video is grainy, the underwear appears to be split down the crotch.

“My first initial response was, ‘Am I really seeing that?’” she said. “They’re sized to fit a seven-year-old girl. That’s just totally inappropriate.”

The store’s owner told KUSA that Kids N Teen caters mostly to children, but about a quarter of their inventory is geared toward teenagers. The mall’s management office was notified and the panties have since been removed.

Even though the panties are now gone, French said they never should have been in the store in the first place.

“This is a baby store, this is a children’s store,” she said. “There is one purpose for an item of that nature and that is not something that we want to encourage for our young girls.”

The store told the station it has only been in business the last two weeks and is still trying to figure out its merchandise.

Over the summer, a French clothing designer came under fire for its line of “loungerie” — skimpy lingerie items aimed at 4- to 12-year-olds.

I saw a young girl, about 9, wearing a curious t-shirt at the mall. It said something like “Grow up and put your BIG GIRL panties on”. I still don’t know what to think.

There are mom’s all over the country wearing clothes that there kids wear, just to look hip. Last year I saw a skank mom and her couple of young daughters all wearing outfits with juicy across their rear-ends. Seems nobody is using their noggins anymore.

For PROPERTYOF IAM: You are so right. I‘ve never forgotten Jesus’ response to the apostles when they asked what signs they would see when He was ready to return to earth again. It’s frightening to think of just how much worse it had to have been in the days of Noah given the fact that they did not have the same luxuries that society has today (i.e., electricity, toilets, indoor plumbing, medicine, etc.). But, since Jesus hasn’t yet returned with His army of Holy Angels, apparently things have not yet become as bad as they were in the days of Noah. That in itself should provoke us children of God to bow to Him every day in praise and prayer. How sorry I feel for children being born in this era, and for the things they are going to be taught by their parents and teachers — a bulk of whom we’ve been watching in video clips during these riots/demonstrations, using foul language, calling for the decimation of this country, calling for our death, destroying public & private property, being lawless, committing crimes and offenses, and, worst of all, loudly blaspheming God. How happy their god must be (the fallen angel Lucifer).

      Lord, come quickly.

What makes you think that they didn’t have toilets and things like that in the days of Noah? In Roman times, they had indoor plumbing. The Bible says that from Adam and Eve until Noah’s time, they had 1680-something years. How much technological progress have we made since 1600 years ago? Plus, people lived to be 100s of years old, so they had a much longer time to learn and have a productive work life. I personally think that they probably had a fairly advanced society. Of course, it all was wiped out in the flood. There’s no way that Noah and 7 other people would be able to continue an advanced society.

      @ Brooke

I’ve thought the same thing. We always think that we’re the most advanced people ever, and the myriad of people before us were all knuckle-dragging cave dwellers. Ok, I’m speaking in hyperbole, but really, it is not unreasonable to believe that technology of an advanced nature has existed in other civilizations in this Earth’s past. Heck, a few EMPs and we, ourselves, might be re-learning how to grow veggies to survive and make tools. Some have speculated that Noah’s Ark may have been nothing more than a floating DNA bank, not a big boat where two animals of every variety on Earth actually sat around like a giant petting zoo. Scripture of course wouldn’t word it as a DNA bank, and the details aren’t vital in understanding the principles at work. I‘m not saying that’s necessarily what I believe, but it’s just an interesting viewpoint to consider. Anyway, this is a little off topic, but your comment made me think. As for this article specifically, yes, very disturbing and inappropriate.

The store manager’s comment that teenagers shop at the store, too, was supposed to mollify the press, but it didn’t have the intended effect on me. Quite the opposite, in fact. My feeling is, you don’t buy underwear like that unless you want someone to see it, and in my home, sex is for marriage, so that is not the kind of underwear I’d be buying for my children. Can we let children still be children? Or must we pimp them out like little prostitutes while still underage? Good freaking grief, that makes me ill.

Capitalism is NOT the cause of this, you moron. That’s like saying money is the cause of prostitution!
With the sexualizing of kids at younger and younger ages, this was predictable. Progressive thinking allows that children are just little adults and as adults they should be able to do everything that adults do, including having sex as soon as they are able to do so. And if that’s the case, then crotchless panties for 12 year olds is (in the mind of the progressive) completely understandable!
So please take your progressive/anti-capitalist/pro-islamist mindcrap and shove it.

Thankfully this mother noticed that these underwear were being sold in a store where, regardless of offering items for kids and teenagers, young children shopped. Did the store owner expect parents to not pay attention to what was being sold in the store? Did they expect that children would never look at placed merchandise? Thankfully; this mother was paying attention to what was offered in the store and she spoke up.

Notice that the underwear are no longer being offered for sale. That is because this store had the rug yanked out from under them and were forced to re-examine selling these underwear. Of course they could continue to sell it, but there would be negative consequences for them as a result. Bad businesses like this one would fail for exploiting little girls; THAT is the beauty of capitalism.

    Note the lies being told.

    1. 25% of our sales are geared for teens.

Really? When was the last time your teen said, “Hey, can I go shopping at Babies R’ Us?” Teens do NOT want to shop at a kid store. If these idiots thought 25% of their store would be for teens, they are really stupid.

    2. The owner said they have been in business for 2 weeks and are still trying to figure out their inventory.

SOMEONE HAD TO ORDER IT. Merchandise just doesn’t show up in your stock room. You have to order it. That means an invoice and a catalogue where someone said, “Gee, I think we should get about 2 cases of the crotchless thongs for a 7 year old…and I know exactly where we will build that display.”

The cops better subpoena the records of the store and track down via credit card everyone who bought one of these items, and then targeted them for pedophilia.

(and it is time for parents to start forming mobs of people with pitchforks, torches, shovels and ropes)

Yes, Bill, but… Buyers frequently order much of their stock variety based on the purveyor‘s recommendations of sales’ expectations, without actually selecting or examining the individual items. This store is apparently a new start-up, which means the entire store-full of merchandise was put together in a relatively short time-span, and most of the attention would likely be concentrated on outer-wear — dresses, pants & jeans, blouses & T-tops, etc. It’s quite possible, if not probable, that the store management was not aware that some of their kiddie’s underwear belonged in a porn shop.

Let me put it this way, people don’t exist for government, people don’t exist to be slaves for the rich, people don’t exist for other people to do with them what they want to. Why did you stop at crotchless panties, why not brass knuckles, lead paint chips, and arsenic laced candy??? Maybe you should figure it out before you order, or stock your shelves… I dunno, just a thought.

Keith Olbermann is probably making a bulk order before they stop carrying those panties.
