‘House of Horrors’: PA Women — Abortions Left Us Sterile, Near Death

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Women who say they were left scarred or injured by an abortion doctor now charged with murder are describing their experiences at his West Philadelphia clinic.
Thirty-year-old Davida Johnson says when she got pregnant in 2001 she first visited Planned Parenthood but was scared off by anti-abortion protesters. She says she then went to Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s clinic and was left with venereal disease and later suffered four miscarriages.
Gosnell is being held without bail in the deaths of a 41-year-old patient and seven babies prosecutors say were born alive and then were killed with scissors.
The 69-year-old Gosnell says he was serving poor residents of the neighborhood where he grew up.
Prosecutors call his clinic a “house of horrors.”
It was back in 2001 when Johnson was taken to Gosnell’s late-term abortion clinic at 38th and Lancaster in West Philadelphia.
Johnson, already the mother of one child, said she decided against aborting her 6-month-old fetus on her way into a filthy operating room after seeing dazed and bloody patients in recovery.
She said Gosnell and his staff not only ignored her change of heart, they hit her, tied her down and sedated her until she passed out.
“This is a house of horror. Where did I come to? What am I doing,” Johnson said of the thoughts going through her mind. “They gave me another dose of something that I did not agree to. I was completely out.”
“The next thing I knew I woke up on a bloody, dirty recliner,” Johnson continued.

Wade (graduated in 73) and not one of us has had an abortion .. of course we knew what abortion really was .. I think the MSM and Pro-Abortion advocates have tried to “sanitize” it over the years .. maybe some will now learn what a disgusting and violent act it really is.

If i do get them, I will send them to the Blaze and to Fox. They are the only ones who would have the balls to show them, I think, and make an issue out of it.
But it’s a long shot..
Anything I can do to strike a moral and intellectual blow in this debate I will try.
This is a subject that needs more “images” connected to it and not absract ideas and euphamistic slogans.

These women are aborting babies later than than she was when she was born….couples are crying out for new born babies!! Makes me sick…..adopt the child out!! The fact that this has made some of them sterile is a blessing…they can’t choose to murder any more.

In 2009 Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in an interview with the NY Times magazine…
“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.”
In fairness (I think she realized she shouldn’t have said that outloud) she added…
“There will never be a woman of means without choice anymore. That just seems to be so obvious,” she explains. “So we have a policy that affects only poor women, and it can never be otherwise, and I don‘t know why this hasn’t been said more often.” Of pro-lifers, she declares, “They’re fighting a losing battle”
The point I take away from that, abortion is just one more way they’re killing off us lowly mortals. Teens are more willing to be sexually active because the abortion option is there and, its socially acceptable.
If we teach our children abortion is murder, immoral and, population reduction of undesirable types, they won’t see it as an option. Ask them if they picture God smiling with pride for their decision to murder such a blessing as a child. Of course its not just teens that choose abortion…

Yes, I noticed that immediately. Lord knows you can’t blame stuff like this on the caring, loving, blood-suckers at Planned Parenthood, or the murdering Doctors that do these procedures. If you don’t want the world to become unbalanced you must blame the people that are trying to stop the genocide.

As a Christian, I believe this legislation allowing women to kill their unborn is a willfull slight against God, and althought we live in a land that has freedom of religion, to allow these women to do this at a whim grants them a great dis-service against the will of God, and may even condemn then to an eternity in hell. Above all else, abortion should be illegal as a preventative measure against a socially abhorant thing. That to kill the unborn should be considered a sin in ALL men’s mind.

He was performing a procedure this president openly defended in Illinois while a senator. This is a joke when it’s presented as an uncommon incident when we all know it goes on daily. In some circles this man is viewed as a hero, I know this seems hard to believe by some but it holds true.
These women should take precautions and use both forms of protection and birth control, I don’t take any pity for her sufferings. And to blame her problem on “anti abortion protesters” shows you the lack of blame she accepts or places on her self. Screw her and all of them who abort their child at 6 months or at any month. Currently we have couples going to foreign countries to adopt, I‘m sure they’d fined a place, but hold on this is a government subsidized industry and also it’s a billion dollar industry.
May God have mercy on all children killed during this plan parenthood holocaust. And the promotion of this in other countries, they have the blood on their hands.

Every other issue we fight for is benign in nature! The right to LIFE is the cornerstone of FREEDOM! We, as a people are ALWAYS fighting the WRONG battles…the very core of every election should be to OVERTURN ROE V WADE! I mean…OUR FIRST AND FOREMOST PRIORITY!
If a candidate up for election is not ANTI-ABORTION, he/she is not our choice! Plain and Simple! Obama has appointed two supreme court justices so far…Sona Sotomayor and Elena Kagan…both relatively YOUNG WOMEN! Obama has reaffirmed the Progressive agenda for the next 100 years! With each election cycle since 1972 WE THE PEOPLE have solidified OUR FATE!
WHY oh WHY can we not UNITE as a COUNTRY and get this done? WHY? We NEVER seem to be speaking with a FOCUSED resolve…you know…ONE VOICE! AND…it seems to me that if it were not for GLENN drawing us together, we’d be completely fragmented because of the absolute chaos that Obama has brought to this nation!
AND…don’t call me a Bible-thumping, judgmental bigot…I‘ve lived long enough and had enough experience as a woman to know what I’m talking about! This entire story speaks to ALL of the Progressive agenda! ALL OF IT! Debi, it seems likely that you and I were seperated at birth. Just kidding. I only said that because on almost every issue that has come up on this blog, you and I seem like the same person when we comment. And here again you wrote something that I agree with 110%. Although I love this country dearly, I know that we have made a few mistakes along the way, and Roe v Wade is one of the bigger mistakes. I am however a big believer in redemption, so I hope we can fix Roe v Wade during my lifetime.
When I heard we had reached the milestone of 10 million babies killed, I thought we would rise-up and say ENOUGH!

Posted on January 25, 2011 at 12:09amThe D&C operation has risks even under the best of circumstances (although at 6 months, she probably had a D&X). I had to have a D&C twice; I was miscarrying and hemorrhaging blood both times, and I was left with scarring that makes it difficult for babies to turn upside down like they’re supposed to. This was in a hospital under good circumstances and competent doctors. I couldn’t imagine what kind of risks the people take going here.
Still, it is really their choice to go here. Most reputable doctors will perform a D&C or tubal operation when miscarriage is inevitable and the mom’s life is in danger, but if you choose to end the life of a living child, you often have to go to these shady doctors, because the doctors with consciences won’t touch them.
