House to Probe if Obama Broke Campaign Laws

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is launching a probe into a possible overlap between President Barack Obama’s official White House and campaign activities.
In a letter to a White House lawyer Monday, Issa requested a number of documents related to what he described as “an array of potentially illegal fundraising behavior,” CBS reported.
The two issues at the center of the probe are a March meeting at the White House with Obama, a group of business leaders — all campaign donors — and members of the Democratic National Committee; and a video shot in the White House advertising a chance to win “Dinner with Barack” and Vice President Joe Biden in return for contributions. The Blaze covered reports of the video in late June.
“President Obama appears to be aggressively using the White House itself and federal employees within the Executive Office of the President (EOP) to solicit donations…” Issa’s letter said.
Mixing campaign fundraising with official White House duties is prohibited by Federal Election Committee.
Press Secretary Jay Carney defended the March meeting, calling it “extremely common” to have a DNC or RNC-sponsored events at the White House, and that the only thing discussed was economic policy, which would not be a violation.
In an interview with CNN, Issa was suspicious of those claims.
“You’re talking with your contributors, what are you talking about if not reelection?” he said.
Issa requested all documents pertaining to the meeting and the video be turned over to the committee by July 26.

This administration and a lot of students and businesses think it is fine to lie/steal/cheat/skirt the laws because odds are they won’t get caught and depending on WHO is investigating WHO broke the law, nothing is done IF they are caught.

We need to support Issa by contacting our representatives everytime he initiates and make sure they’re signing “the letter” and vocally speaking out. We need to keep these issues in front of our Rebub candidates and make sure they contrast them to Obama’s pledge to be the most ethical and transparent in history. Newt’s behavior and blatant waste of time and taxpayer money was why I left the Republican party and why this type of stuff will drive more people to become independents. Independents are of course dangerous because we actually vote on the issues and for solutions that represent all Americans. Unfortunately, so many of the “sheeple” are apparently scared to death of an independent vote that independent candidates never win, and so the system continues on its merry way to hell in a handbasket. If we REALLY want to save our country, there are three things we really have to do:
(1) STOP letting the “mainstream media” decide who will get nominated to run for president
(2) SUPPORT your candidate, even if the mainstream media is hellbent on ignoring him/her to death
(3) VOTE! This “my vote changes nothing so I’m going to stay home” crap just will NOT cut it any longer. That is one of the main reasons we have an evil little Communist PUPPET in the White House today–TOO MANY people decided to “just sit this one out” and did not vote!
If you want to effect change, you MUST vote! It is the only weapon we have left to take our country back from these crooks!
