How Has Obama Disrespected Fallen Soldiers? Beck Explains — And It’s Worse Than You Think

People may disagree with the policies and politics of President George W. Bush, but one thing that cannot be said about him is that he did not revere and cherish America’s servicemen and women. During his Thursday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck paid respect to the country’s fallen heroes and questioned how the current president is conducting himself when it comes to our troops.
How has President Obama paid his respect? Beck pointed out that the president has sent actual form letters, signed with an electronic pen — the same exact letter and same electronic pen — to the families of fallen soldiers. The only change on the letter was the name it was addressed to. Nothing was personally written by the president to these families, according to Beck.
Beck was appalled by this display of disrespect and juxtaposed the president’s use of form letters and electronic signature with the fact that Obama used 22 pens to sign his Affordable Care Act into law. It took approximately one and half minutes to achieve that task.

He wants active duty personnel to purchase their own health insurance and life insurance (yeah Mr Agent I need health coverage because I’m on my way to Afghanistan). He hasn‘t brought it up but I’ll bet he wants them to buy their own guns and ammo. I mean, after all, it is an all volunteer force and they should be aware that the government doesn’t owe them anything for their sacrifice.
As for the letters, crtics need to get their priorities straight. A Black rapper is killed in a street shooting is much more important than some soldier killed while serving his county. Soldiers don’t make large contributions to the Obama reelection campaign.

We, the Troops, felt a connection with President Bush when he would address us. Obama has done nothing more than utilize the military to his political benefit. I devoted my life to the service of my country. I was going to make a career out of it. However, God had other plans for me. 31 AUG 2010, two years ago today, our convoy was struck by an IED killing three of my best friends and one of which I grew up with (we enlisted on the buddy program together (RIP SSG VINSON B ADKINSON III)). At this moment two years ago we were just leaving the FOB for the day and I can recall what we were doing at this time (its 1050 HRS (AM AFT)). We were talking about the upcoming college football season. I am an Oklahoma State fan and “Vinny” is a diehard OU fan. We were making bets and small talk. This memory is one of the last I have of him. I have spent two years in a wheelchair but I am getting closer to walking every day, they didn’t have to amputate. There was something amputated that day; my heart. I practically begged the folks here to cover this event. They didn’t. Reason… the soldiers and veterans of this group were Ron Paul supporters. Our respect and highest honor for our fallen brothers and sisters in arms is written in history that attempts to put into words the eternal appreciation, love and acknowledgement of their sacrifice that is unique to all combat tested warriors. These traditions of honor are rendered from the battlefield to the grave.
marybethelizabeth, you will never understand this and I will tell you that I do not suffer fools lightly and will temper my response by accusing you of being a particularly vile and evil person of malicious and hateful intent. You can go to quantcast.com and check on the demographics for Beck’s websites. This is the demographics for GBTV.com. The audience skews older and 70%+ of it makes less than $100,000 a year. The demographics for The Blaze have been hidden. The ones for GlennBeck.com are very similar, his audience is mostly older, White males with about average income.
