Count How Many Times Obama Asks Congress to ‘Pass This Jobs Bill’

Fox News:

Obama repeatedly called on lawmakers to pass his plan “right away,“ saying ”there should be nothing controversial” about the American Jobs Act. He said all the proposals are paid for with spending cuts, although he won’t detail them until next week.

“Everything in here is the kind of proposal that’s been supported by both Democrats and Republicans – including many who sit here tonight,” he said. “The purpose of the American Jobs Act is simple: to put more people back to work and more money in the pockets of those who are working.”

So here, courtesy of the National Journal, is Obama’s speech in less than 45 seconds.  Count how many times he asks, with slightly different phrasing allowed, for Congress to pass the jobs bill:

      What if . . . the House were to approve the 105 Billion for infrastructure AND the 35 Billion for local teachers & emergency workers WITH THE ADDED PROVISION that no money is to be paid to any employee who is not free to chose whether or not to belong to a union? That would be fun to watch.

      A trillion dollar stimulis did nothing ezcept increase the debt, so how is 447 billion going to do anything different? What is the defination of insanity?       We already have the proof that, as an automobile, this country runs poorly on ethanol. We need to be running on gasoline that is “ MADE IN THE USA ”

      I DID NOT SEE ANYONE CATCH THIS YET. The “made in america” statement is another globalist term referring to the North-American Region, which of course includes Canada and Mexico.

      WHERE IS THE “ MADE IN THE USA ” LABEL ON THIS SPEECH?

      We do not need money to repair schools. If any money goes to schools it should be for textbooks that are not lying to our children. Remove all the globalist, secular humanist, three gender references, and of course the THEORY of evolution must shown for what it is.

      Evolution is a bigger lie than global warming. There is no proof at all of macro evolution. It is debunked from the start.

      MADE IN THE USA is the label we should be seeing. Not the globalist term referring to the North-American region.

      This jobs bill is proof the Democrats are just a bunch of Keynesians with a guilt complex at the moment. They know their policies have utterly failed in the best test they’ve ever had. All the years of Keynesian economics classes, all the back-room poo-pooing of Reaganomics and supply-side economics and “tax cuts for the rich”– and when a full-on recession is handed to them, with full control of the legislature and executive branches, they put everything they were ever taught into action: TARP (yes, voted on under Bush -by a Democratic legislature- but administered by the Obama Administration), Stimulus, Omnibus, Cash for Clunkers, Dodd-Frank, even Obamacare; all examples of Keynesian economic policy and all complete and abject failures. And now they’re caught. Trapped. In the corner with the smoking gun and the economy is bleeding. And they try and blame the paramedics.
      This is the reality of the situation and they have not– and cannot conceive why they have failed.

      How about this…We actually bring more jobs to the states, Unions will never save this country, only jobs will. So why don’t we open up the fabric factorys, open up slaughter houses in Texas and start drilling in Mexico, and Alaska to use our OWN natural resources. Plus we need to bring back the tariffs, if anything is sold to us outside of the United States then we need to tax them so that they will bring their jobs here. Haha Spending more money to get out of debt is the stupidest idea i Have ever heard, its like saying Lets Put this fire out by throwing paper into it.

      Think about it, remember when we ‘invaded’ Iraq? They discovered huge trucks FILLED with U.S. currency, $100.00 dollar bills. Truck loads of them. By comparison to the last 3 years, not even a drop in the bucket! All in the name of “jobs”.

      Now, are you actually trying to tell me that $3.5T has been pushed down the gullet of our ‘economy’ and job creation is the same or LOWER? What idiot would believe such fantasy? Every out of work American would have a job just driving trucks of money around! And now we need more?

      Who is more mentally disturbed, some one who believes this crap or some one that questions that even a single dollar ever went into ‘job creation’ in the first place?       @KickinBack, hope is good. But we all saw what Republican House did this August when they had an opportunity NOT to raise the debt ceiling and force Obama to cut. They yielded to the establishment.

      Since the establishment is backing Perry and Romney, I doubt any of them would cut anything. More likely it would be more of the same – spending, inflation, bail outs, new war against Iran. If dollar collapses, they will introduce a draft to take away young people from street protests and let the mob burn the rich and scare the rest of populace to accept complete dictatorship.

    It‘s so urgent to pass Obama’s “job’s bill” that he ended his vacay in the Vineyard one day early. Oh wait – he left one day early because of hurricane Irene, didn’t he?

    Does Obama ever do anything in a timely manner? It seems that he’s always a day late and a dollar short. It must take him hours in the morning to get dressed, seeing that he has to make an actual decision on what to wear.

    His “job’s bill” is just more of the same-o, same-o. Billions for union jobs, nothing for the majority of Americans who don’t belong to unions.

      Has anyone added up the total amount from all the stimulus and other spending this guy has wasted, and found out the amount of money we could of got in a check if they had just giving it to us instead?

      Yeah, I counted at least 16 times he said some form of “pass this bill”, sounded like either a truly desperate man or a freaking hypnotist, I guess hypnotist would explain how he got enough people to vote for him to put his stupid a** in office and continue to support him through all his failures and ineptness..I think this is just a trap for Republicans, he has to know they will never vote for another stimulus, and then he can say “I proposed a bill to put all Americans back to work, but the mean, nasty old unpatriotic Republicans blocked it so it is their fault you don’t have a job. He promised the world, but gave no details, just more of the usual crap spewing from his lying mouth, and by the way, according to his book, his drug of choice was “coke”.
