How Much Sex-Ed Is Too Much? Students at One Texas College Are Asking (Content Warning!)

Remember when Colleges and Universities prepared young men and women to work in professional fields like Accounting, Chemistry, and Geology?

Yeah, those days are long gone.

The week before Spring Break, at the typically conservative Texas A&M University, one campus organization offered a special ‘how-to’ sex-ed seminar.

There is no way to put this gently, the class was a graphic lesson was called ‘B*tt Play,’  masquerading as a sex-ed program.  The featured featured lectures supported by videos and props to teach students how to handle their first anal sex encounter.  (The video appears below, with our strongest CONTENT WARNING.)

How much is too much when it comes to sex education on college campuses?  A controversial video now has conservative groups taking aim at Texas A&M officials.

The extremely graphic video posted online by the group Texas Aggie Conservatives shows a sex therapist using pictures and videos to teach gays and lesbians how to safely engage in certain activities.

Student Justin Pulliam says how-to sex lessons for gays have no place on his college campus.

“Most people at the university do not agree with having casual sex, or homosexual sex, or having sex outside of marriage,” he says.  “That the university is institutionally supporting such behavior is disgusting.”

Pulliam says his group wants to expose the school for sanctioning event.

“What makes it even more disgusting, is that student fee dollars and taxpayer dollars are funding activities such as this at Texas A&M University,” he claims.

However, Lowell Kane from the school’s GLBT Professional Network argues little if any student fees were used for the seminar.

“Student fees were not used to pay the therapist to facilitate this workshop,” Kane says.  “The university and I did go to a business meal with her afterwards to discuss the program, so the total cost associated with this workshop was $20 and change.”

Kane insists the seminar was for safe sex educational purposes only.

“We actually know for a fact from the Bryan-College Station Community Health Center that we’re seeing an increase in new infections of syphilis and HIV, particularly with the college student campus of Texas A&M,” he says.  “So these are very serious issues.”

The video even has ruffled the feathers of Pat Carlson with the Texas Eagle Forum.

“I don’t know how on Earth they can call that a safe sex seminar, that was the most disgusting thing,” says Carlson.  “I’ve been married 41 years, and never have I watched something so repulsive.”

Calls seeking comment from Texas A & M school officials were not returned.

    Your anal canal is NOT the place to be penetrated by anything. That part of one’s body, evacuates fecal matter. That’s how the human body was designed. I find it disgusting that anyone would want to stick anything “in” this portal that was designed to expel human waste.

    Sorry people but this is just not a sexual practice in the gay community – there are plenty of straight people, married and unmarried who have anal sex which is a leading cause for the spread of HIV. Don’t you believe that teaching college kids about safe sex in order to bring down the spread of HIV in both the gay and straight community is a valuable lesson learned? And don’t say – it won’t be my kid because you have no idea what you kid is doing when they are away at college and it is spring break.

      For one thing, whether it was in the “gay” community or a straight community or any other community. This was in no way ANYTHING that could actually be construed as sex education! If anyone believes that it was sex education just because they said it was sex education, I would have to say that those same people voted for obama because they believed his “hope and change” to be a good thing just because he said it was when anyone with any sense at all would have known that what he meant when he said “hope and change” was that he was hoping that enough stupid people were going to go out and vote for him to change this country to everything immoral, communistic (or should I say islamic?) and try to make it open season on every one of our freedoms and the destruction of everything good about our nation.

    Sick perversion. This is what passes for higher education? What’s next, sex with animals 101? This garbage has to stop, especially under the guise of “education”. It’s indoctrination pure and simple, with the goal of being first a loss of repugnance at this kind of behavior, followed by a begrudging tolerance of this kind of behavior and then concluding with an acceptance of this kind of behavior. This cannot be allowed to go on! GLB(I won’t even include transgender here – that’s another matter entirely) are the only so-called “minority” that defines themselves strictly on the basis of a behavior rather than a defining physical characteristic. This sick, perverted training video has no place on a college campus. There is no redeeming social quality to it whatsoever. It is time to root out this sort of garbage (and the social engineers who peddle it!) on college/university campuses nationwide and get these institutions of higher learning back to the task of real education and preparing young minds for careers and professions and not this filth!

    Billy Graham’s wife, the late Ruth Graham said several years ago that “if God doesn‘t punish America for it’s sins, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorah. This is unbelievable to me. If I were paying tuition for a child at A&M I would pull the financing from this school even if my child flunked all his courses, and the college would hear from me personally. We get what we put up with. We can blame Obama, society, gay’s, crooked politicians, bad teachers or the booger man, but if we look in the mirror we will know who to blame. A republic is not like a monarchy. God will hold us responsible for our indifference, not the president.. We must repent and ask God to forgive us before we can ever expect Him to heal our land. God help us. This generation sure got a bad deal from us.

    The whole field of psychology and sociology are frauds. A complete waste of taxpayer money. I didn‘t even watch the stupid video but I wouldn’t be surprised if they started promoting anal sex with horses. How much money is wasted on psychology and sociology? Many studies have show nonprofessional people talking things over with troubled people have just as great a success.

    Let me guess that this, too, was presented by people in the Psychology Department.

    But–pardon the word–is it any worse than the prof at Carnegie Mellon (Touretzky) who uses his public mental health grants to post instructions on how to build a bomb, plant it near a police cruiser, and pre-plan your escape unnoticed? (It used to be on his cmu.edu site; may or may not be now.)

    Prof Touretzky needs a penetrating investigation from the FBI.

      This has NO place in any educational system. I watched the Video, so I can say that this sort of thing is not sex ed. Sex ed is suppose to teach a person about reproducting and what happens before, during, and after intercourse, with all the ramifications, like getting pregant. This type of sexual education is promoting none reproductive sex. It has no place in any classroom.

      I have been questioning something of late. I have asked you to pray many times yet I am not sure we are praying for what is going to do with this Nation. I have to ask why would God bless this nation and help restore us to Himself. We kill the most innocent of our population in some of the most horrible ways through Abortion. We engage is horrible sexual immorality everyone, not just gays. We have allowed the Gay agenda to become the worst it has ever been. We have goverment blessing on gay marriage in a few States. We have turned our back on God as a nation and with each death of a innocent child in a womb we slap Him in the face. How can we expect God to Bless. Maybe we need to pray for God to distroy and bring about enough trouble for us to cause everyone to get down on their knees and seek him. Maybe we need to have a clear message of disaproval from God for us to repent as a nation. What will it take to get prayer back into school and the porn out? What will it take to cause us to really turn back to Him? I do not know? I will be on my knees asking, how about you?

      bonnie i did not watch the vide. and i have talked to some of the kids in the college town that i live in and stuff like that is here too. and in the high schools ,just not as graphic.

      as for the question why does the Blaze have that story here? well think would you have found out about it from the alphabet soup media? it’s not appropriate for our children and we need to take action, yes? how would `you know to take action?
