Huffington Post Slams Obama‘s Jobs Promises With ’Deja Vu’ Video Montage

You’re not misreading the headline. Yes, the Huffington Post really did put together a video montage showing how often Barack Obama has promised to focus on jobs, and how that promise has gone unfulfilled.
Here’s how author Ben Craw puts it:
In his very first address to Congress in February of 2009, President Barack Obama promised an agenda focused on job creation. Following every major subsequent event of his presidency — be it a concerted campaign like health care reform or, much more frequently, an unwelcome crisis — he has been forced to reiterate that he will now focus on jobs. Just how many times has he made the jobs promise?
Wow.
Now here’s the telling video:
But not only did Craw post the video, he also linked to another HuffPo article that snuffed out any excitement over today’s supposedly “good” job numbers:
In July, 117,000 jobs were added in the economy, and the unemployment rate dropped to 9.1 percent from 9.2 percent. But the drop in the unemployment rate should not be celebrated as a signal of strong growth: It came almost entirely from Americans dropping out of the labor force.
As more Americans simply give up looking for work, the employment-to-population ratio fell to 63.9 percent in the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ latest snapshot of the U.S. labor market, a new low.
“We’re continuing to see very weak growth,” said Dean Baker, economist and co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. “117,000 new jobs is a really pathetic growth rate. It might be fine if we were at 4.5 percent unemployment, but in the context of 9.1 percent, it’s going to take us more than 20 years to get us back to where we used to be.”

They don‘t have to check in anymore so they don’t count on the unemployed numbers. They say they gave up looking instead of saying they ran out of insurace is a joke to make them feel better about the economy…….Another misconception I keep hearing and laugh every time is that there is only 99 weeks for people. I know someone who has been on it for 3 years because their benefit year would keep going back and forth. ex: 1rst benefit year then they would slid onto their second year. then their 1rst teir then their 1rst teir on their second year. all the way through 4 teirs. then their EB…..Yup Hannity didn’t even get that one.

Posted on August 5, 2011 at 3:37pmMORK- I know someone who had the same situation. The EDD would keep submitting the paperwork for the extensions, she never had to do anything. They only required that job search information be provided for 12-16 weeks out of the 99. Once you are on on the extensions, you never have to submit anything. Now after 3 years the skills are gone, the confidence is gone and she is totally unemployable. Do I blame her, yes, but the States and US Govt are to blame too. And now I hear that when Congress comes back in Sept they will discuss more extensions for unemployment. This is nothing but employment killing tactics.

When you see a drop in unemployment numbers in November that will be the teachers coming off the government dole. Who knows what these numbers represent. I don;t think there‘s an honest number of unemployed out there that’s reliable. Numbers lie and liars play with numbers.

Obama must be removed and the damage undone pursuant to Article 2, Section 1, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible…”
Exempting a citizen from being a natural born citizen, proves they’re not equal. Natural born exceeds minimal citizenship requirements at the time, of birth in the U.S. of a U.S. citizen father, leaving just one possibility, which was later confirmed by the Supreme Court.
Supreme Court, Minor v. Happersett, 1874. “The Court held that Minor was a member of the “class” of persons who were natural born citizens. They defined this class as those born in the US to “parents” (plural) who were citizens.” This is “binding precedent as to the Constitutional definition of a natural born citizen.”[1]
Obama’s Kenyan father precluded his being a natural born citizen!
Demand your elected officials remove Obama now, in accordance with their sworn oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
