HuffPo Pulls Glenn Beck ‘Sex Tape’ Article

Free Republic reports that the Huffington Post has pulled an article by Beau Friedlander offering a $100,000 bounty for proof of a Glenn Beck sex tape.

The original piece, titled $100,000 for Glenn Beck’s Sex Tapes has been removed and replaced with the following description: Editor’s Note: This piece was published directly to the Huffington Post by its author. It didn’t meet our editorial standards and has been removed from the site.

Friedlander’s original article said he was willing to raise support for any embarrassing material:

It is time to pop the tea baggers’ favorite balloon (so what if it will be replaced by another?), and with that in mind I hereby offer to negotiate a $100,000 payday to the person who will come forward with a sex tape or phone records or anything else that succeeds in removing Glenn Beck from the public eye forever. I am not offering the cash myself, but I will broker the deal and/or raise the money for what you bring to the table. (And it better be good.)

If you have the goods, or if you want to contribute to a slush fund to buy more takedowns (probably not tax deductible), please contact me at: glennbecksextape@gmail.com.

Friedlander is the former editor-in-chief of Air America. As of this afternoon, the e-mail address listed in the original post was still operational.

As Glenn Beck’s #1 fan, I was hoping to see this sex tape. I thought it might spice things up in the bedroom with my wife Terry (WHO IS A WOMAN) whom I love very much. Now that Glenn has expanded his media empire from radio to books to TV to multiple sites on the internet, maybe it’s time he move into the next obvious industry: the porn industry.

I am saddened at mentality of some of these hateful, downright mean and disgusting folks.

I agree, especially since they can’t count. Remember the 8/28 Beck rally? They had the numbers in the tens of thousands when there were clearly around 500,000 people there? And the only thing they noticed is that it was a “predominately white” crowd. Was’t Al Sharptons crowd “predominately black?”- wonder why that wasn’t reported on by the Huffington post.

90% of Democrats today have sold their souls to Obama,

Senate, House and Presidency. And they are desperate

This outrageous abuse of speech and decency results from the tampered with election process where people of decency were scared away from polls, ACRON and other such trash registered Mickey Mouse… at least twice. Unfortunate when we let someone steal an election they takeover and bankrupt the country of morals and financial status putting in place the worse kind of government. I saw this coming with Clinton and his disrespect for the office of the Executive.

God forbid we finally have someone with the wherewith all to stand up to Washington and give everyone a reality check. It’s almost unbelievable that these people want more government intrusion and more taxes. Anyone making $90 k a year will be penniless by the time all these taxes are in place.

    $90,000.00 a year=
    $5,625.00 net
-$1,500.00 for obama care (est for family of 4, 2014)
    -2,500.00 home mortgage
    -750.00 car payments & insurance
    -$150.00– electric /gas
    -$375.00–Bush tax cuts expire
This leaves a family of 4 with $350.00 a MONTH to live on.

Glenn, people don’t understand billions, they understand what I have just pointed out. Let your listeners know this.

I’m a fiscal conservative who wholeheartedly agrees that we pay far too many taxes to support a government that is far too big and that too much of my hard-earned money goes to support ineffective and inefficient programs.

While I applaud your efforts to put some ‘real numbers’ behind what Obamacare, tax cut expiration, etc… may mean to the ‘average person’ I sincerely hope your numbers are not a reflection of yours (or anyone’s) financial reality.

While using your numbers makes for a nice ‘gotcha’ remainder of $350 a month — most of the blame for this scenario would lie with the individual.

The biggest expense you list is $2,500 for a mortgage payment. Assuming a 5% interest rate and a 30 year term, that equates to approximately a $500,000 home. Before I could shed too many tears for this poor family with only $350 left at the end of the month, I‘d have to wonder why they’re not taking personal responsibility for buying twice as much house as they can afford?

Someone making $90,000 should not be buying a half-million dollar home. If this person would have purchased a home more in line with their income, say $250,000, their mortgage payment would be around $1,300 a month. That family would then have $1,500 a month instead of $350.

We all must hold the government accountable for reckless spending — but let’s not forget accountability for ourselves in the process.

If “they” worked as hard being the “watch dog” of corruption in DC, We The People would once again have a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and “they” would become the Woodward and Bernstein of the 21st century. But the fact that they have a 100k bounty for Beck sex tapes just may be more disturbing than the thought of there being a Beck sex tape. Really, who wants to see that? This is a visible and disgusting example of what these people actually think about. They are not interested in the country or the well being of either individuals or laws and freedoms that make this country great. THIS is what they spend their time on. Any means to an end I suppose. And then there is Huffpo itself. Not to mention Air America. I thought that once that pestilence was off the air we would be free of Al Franken and Jeanne Garofolo. Now, Franken is in the senate, not to mention HOW he got there and we cannot go anywhere that someone, somewhere is quoting that greasy hair’d harridan, Garofolo( As though she has something important to say!) The kind of dialog they seem to accept on the left does not pass muster in decent society. No one seems to appreciate that these days.
