FBI Terrorism Task Force Removes Explosive Device From Plano Home Following Texas Gas Pipe Bombing

UPDATE: The FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Plano and Garland Bomb teams removed an explosive device from a Plano, Texas home either late Monday or early Tuesday after serving a search warrant at the residence of the man suspected of intentionally detonating a bomb near natural gas lines on Sunday night, WFAA reports.
A late-night explosion rocked the city of Plano, Texas on Sunday after police believe a man may have intentionally detonated an explosive device near some natural gas lines, WFAA in Dallas reports.
Plano police confirmed Monday that the bomb squad and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force had been involved in the ongoing investigation, though few other details were released.

Local emergency call centers were flooded Sunday night with reports of a loud explosion that was powerful enough to rattle windows in surrounding neighborhoods.
“If you were in the Army and threw a grenade, that’s what it sounded like,” neighbor Scott Percourt said about the blast.
Following the explosion, neighbors reportedly found a man, later determined to be the suspect, severely injured and got him medical care.
“We just hear this huge explosion,” said Alex Russell, an area resident. “It sounds like fireworks, and then prolonged, agonized screaming.” When he went to see what was going on, he found a man covered in blood.
The man originally claimed he was struck by a car, but police said his story didn’t match his injuries.
The unidentified suspect was described by a neighbor as a Taiwanese man in his 20s, WFAA reports. However, he had no identification on his person and police have not been able determine his identity. Investigators are also clueless as to what the man’s motive was or what type of explosive device was used.
He is still in critical condition but Police are hoping the man will recover enough so that they can ask him some questions and figure out exactly what happened.
Police issued a search warrant for a Plano residence and three people, including an elderly woman, were instructed to leave the home while law enforcement searched the premises. Investigators are searching for evidence that may connect someone to the explosion. Police haven’t confirmed whether the search and explosion are related.

The home where a search warrant was executed was crawling with FBI agents and police officers while a bomb removal truck stayed parked out on the street, according to WFAA.
Plano police spokesman David Tilley said in a statement Monday that more information may be released on Tuesday.

Let’s wait to see how this plays out. The stupid kid may have had some kind of beef with someone whose natural gas line he chose to blow up. I highly doubt that there is some kind of connection with Islamic terrorism. Girlfriend, boyfriend problem is more likely.

Please don’t hold your breath waiting for things to “play out.” America’s media has suffered a “chain saw castration” when it comes to covering the news.
Case in point: Tell me how unsolved homicides of two openly gay members of Reverend Wrong’s Chicago congregation go reported by the media. The first murder in November and the second on December 23, 2007. These guys weren’t just murdered. Each was shot in the back of the head, (Mafia or CIA) execution style. Are you telling me that there is no news story here, especially since the mother of one of the victims has been told by Chicago police that her life is in danger? Has she also asserted that her deceased son and the Ayatollah Obama were pals? Yes, as a matter of fact she has.
Examine all the facts for yourself by googling: Larry Sinclair, Larry Bland, Don Young, Reverend Wright, Man’s Country. If after reading all the articles, you still feel like we’ll hear what really went on at that TX pipeline, please email me with your reasoning. Ain‘t gonna’ happen! Theblaze won’t touch it.
Nobody seems to remember that many of the bombing attempts by Al Qaeda after 9/11 have been played out by bumbling idiots: the shoe bomber, the times square bomber, the Millennium bomber, et al. Face it. If these guys had half a brain, could you convince them that they were going to enjoy the affections of 40 virgins once they reached paradise?

Mentioning a person’s background and/or ethnicity in the U.S. is NOT NEW! And at a time when there are large factions of the world who see us as the enemy, we are wise to have our ears and eyes open and aware. No, NO ACTION should be taken on “half warmed” facts, but awareness and investigation from all angles is important!
Generally “girlfriend” or “domestic” problems don’t bring someone to think “PIPE BOMB”! And, generally, please know the area around where they are living and if the gas station next door fills it’s bulk tank beside your garage, you don’t smoke right there when it is happening.
Doing something with a pipe bomb or any other MAJOR INCENETARY DEVICE in the local of pipelines USUALLY HAS A CONNECTION and ALL ANGLES need to be investigated.
You go ahead and continue to keep your head in the sand while trying to be the “conscience” of reality, and I’ll keep my head up, my eyes aware, my ears listening and my mind, sould and protection with God.

Considering that extremist terror groups have been allowed to infiltrate the nation they could be the ones doing the attacks on our pipelines, energy and so forth; yet with the radical in chief of DC, there is another possibility:
Hamas may be being used as a training cadre to prepare domestic terror cells at the beck and call of Obama and his union and other extremist thugs. It would not be past the leaders of Iran to have their own groups train such forces in the states among many radical bands, then play them off one upon the other, and against the US People as well.
The one thing consistent with most terror bands is not being played out here though, or on the world stage: The terrorist wants as big an audience as possible, as much attention as possible to inspire the most fear as possible; NOT just to kill people.
That is the link I am looking for on my own.
With Obama for that matter, he could be executing a “wag the dog” terror campaign as well via the Occupy bands.

Other than noises with no physical evidence of an explosion around Clintonville, Wisconsin virtually nothing is being talked about. Are we supposed to believe some vast conspiracy theory or do you care to inform us of some of your evidence for your statements? If this were happening local news agencies would be making reports which would be quickly copied and redistributed. In short it would be virtually impossible in the internet age for ‘Secret Sam’ to be manipulating and hiding all the stories. Which brings me to the conclusion you should give us some evidence of what you are claiming or give it a rest. After all if you have these claims to make surely you have some sources of your information you can post right? This story is an isolated incident by an isolated whack job. What bothers me is why Taiwan? After all were it not for US support He and his people would have become slaves of China long ago. One would think of all the other nations on the planet at least the people of Taiwan would show us a little more respect. Were it not for our purchases in the last 50 years they would be a very poor nation indeed.

That is the angle my brain went. Domestic terrorism (Tiawanese only points to heritage, not citizenship) may be the cause of this. Many envio-whacko nutjobs really don’t want any pipelines and will go to great measures to block them. Hope The Blaze stays on top of this.
