Human Rights Expert Details Horrific Forced Abortion & Infanticide Procedures in China

Reggie Littlejohn, president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers (WRWF)
Accuracy in Media‘s investigative video team put together a fascinating video discussion with Reggie Littlejohn, president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers (WRWF). The non-partisan, international coalition works to prevent forced abortion and human trafficking in China.
During her sit-down interview, Littlejohn discussed China’s infamous one-child policy, sterilizations, forced abortion and infanticide. While these elements are troubling, they are a part of daily life for Chinese men and women forced to live under sometimes brutal circumstances.
Littlejohn described the startling 13 million abortions that allegedly occur in China each year. This shocking number ends up being 35,000 babies aborted per day (nearly 1,500 procedures being conducted each hour). She also described the horrific mandate that women face to undergo forced abortions — sometimes up to the ninth month of their pregnancies.
When women decide to run away in an attempt to save the life of their unborn children, government officials sometimes turn to violence against loved ones to convince the women who are hiding out to follow through with their abortions. In one particularly gruesome example, Littlejohn provides a story that seems practically incomprehensible in an modern-day society.

During her discussion, Littlejohn mentions a document that purportedly comes from a web site discussion portal designed for Chinese gynecologists and obstetricians. Under a thread called, “What if the infant is still alive after induced labor?,” these medical professionals share a disturbing dialogue.
The discussions, which apparently occurred between April 13 and April 28, 2009, shed light on the tragic situation families face in the Asian nation. Here are just a few snapshots from the translated discussions that unfolded between health officials:

In the end, China’s troublesome policies, especially in light of anti-abortion advocate Chen Guangcheng‘s arrival in the U.S., are certainly a noteworthy subject deserving of increased exploration.

We’ve all heard about the male rejuvenation pills imported from China that are made out of powdered fetuses. That’s been going on for decades. In China, there are black-market restaurants that sell a special “stew” that is alleged to enhance a man’s potency and make him look younger. And the main ingredient in that stew is human fetus. Human female fetus. I’m surprised that anybody is shocked by this Blazed story. You all should have known about this kind of thing a long time ago.

I am so grateful to those Chinese mothers who do whatever they can to make sure their babies are born and not murdered. Even the Chinese doctors are not of one mind on the infanticide.
One thing that she failed to mention… the reason for the Chinese preference for boys is that itis a centuries old tradition &written into Chinese law that the first born son is responsible for taking care of the parents in their old age. Girls are married out and they no longer take care of their parents, but they care for their husband’s parents instead. They do not have a social security system like the US.

Females work in professional rolls and many decide not to marry . Inner city families often have more than one child. The Shanghai Children’s home built in 2002 is one of the largest, modern facilities of its kind in the world.

Reading this story and watching the video, has made me question why has this been allowed to happen. I was crying while watching this video and cannot understand what the hell is wrong with these people. It seems that the Chinese government and the people that they employ to conduct the force abortion lack morals, values and a conscious. It is really sad that this is happening and that people are being prosecuted for standing up against this.

It sadens me breaks my heart. the comment about this in america being a willing practice, the shame to me is that these young girls are taught from a young age that this is an egg nothing else and it is just gone through some magic procedure. the lies are so sickening, these girls grow into women, have babies of their own planned now, and know what they have done. at this point it sucks the joy from many aspects of parenthood. dealing with the emotional consequences of these women who have been lied to by their schools, their families, the liberal loons, and the abortion doctors, it is staggering the amount of PTSD that happens to these women, the amount of joy lost etc. so many of these young girls quite litteraly have no idea this is murder. it saddens me and hurts my soul. they become inadvertant murderers and their lives are change forever. educating every teen with the truth of abortion is what is needed. as for china, the stories I hear from these women and their husbands being forced to abort at 9 months pregnant, having c sections with the babies murdered in front of them and sent home to die…the woman sent home after the forced c section with a few stitches no medical treatment, who then dies on the floor and her husband then takes his own life…if all could know the tragedy of this we would have started a war with china a long time ago but our leaders have no morals no heart.

All 4 cost a lot, however, life is so precious. Maybe it is time to look at labels and pay $1 for something not made in China. Talcott Parsons provided similar insights regarding any number of crises that would result from a strain on societal resources from over population and progressive weakening of the gene pool. It is a reality that the earth can hold only so many people. Can you even estimate what the population of China would be if they had not taken strict action relative to population control. Similar to the deficits, impact of pollution, macro societal issues will not likely be taken serious or acted upon until they reach the crisis level. When there is no choice but to take action. Action that will be significantly harsher than those that could have been taken ahead of time. Let’s keep in mind that in most instances the forced abortions are associated with individuals who decided to have children outside of the China governments policies.

I still don’t understand your point though. Holdren’s book says the authors disapprove of forced methods (which you neglected to mention). I think China’s actions are horrible; women should not be forced into unwanted abortions. The statements Holdren offers are self-evident. Holdren believes the constitution gives him or any like minded American government official the right to control the population even by using forced sterilization on American women. If this wasn‘t clear to you in Holdren’s own words I offered ..again you have my sympathy champ. Politifact‘s offering that Holdren said that the need for these forced sterilizations hasn’t arisen yet is neither here nor there.

If they can’t take responsibility then their reproductive rights should be curtailed one way or the other. Something that is in the best interest of society and if it is necessary for the government to carry that out so be it.

Just take note of the countless rationales people come up for to support pseudo wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, possibly Iran, etc. I refer to them as pseudo wars as there was no clear declaration of war and no real attempt to win it. What we have been involved in since Vietnam, other than perhaps the invasion of Kuwait, is industrial wars that are manufactured to keep defense spending at optimum levels. So yes I understand how horrible those who profit from war can be. As far as taking responsibility for bringing a child into the world I stand behind the statement. And for those who bring in a disproportional amount than they can care for and support, yes something should be done to limit the negative impact they have on society as a whole. Every pregnancy is not inspired by God or a gift from God. Sometimes it is just ignorant individuals who can’t manage their lives, take responsibility for their own lives let along a child. Take the time to read the chapter in Freakenomics and see what really caused the reduction in crime in the 1990‘s ad 2000’s.
