‘I Moved His Hand Away’: Congressman Claims TSA Agent Got Way Too Gropey

KENS-TV:

U.S. Rep. Francisco Canseco said he was assaulted by a TSA agent at the San Antonio International Airport.

The Texas Congressman said the security agent went too far during a pat-down earlier this month.

“The agent was very aggressive in his pat-down, and he was patting me down where no one is supposed to go,” said Canseco.  “It got very uncomfortable so I moved his hand away.  That stopped everything and brought in supervisors and everyone else.”

Canseco told the KENS 5 I-Team the agent said he too was assaulted when Canseco pushed his hand away.

No problemo. I’ve never been on a plane in my life. For vacations, when I had the time I didn’t have the cash, when I had the cash I didn’t have the time. So, I’ll start boycotting the airlines… um… decades ago.
Kidding aside, I have family living all across the country (NH, ME, MA, MT, TX, CO) and they all stopped flying quite a while ago. Everyone only drives for visits now.
Not flying isn’t going to bother TSA though I imagine. It will hurt the airlines that have no control over the situation instead. TSA is just another parasite feeding off of taxpayers, aren’t they? And since when do the Feds care about wasting money? Especially with Obama in office. Obama would probably consider hurting the airlines’ profits as an accomplishment since he seems obsessed with killing non-green jobs.
Anyways, personally, I would never allow my kids to be molested and terrorized – especially not for something as insignificant as travel. I’ll drive.

We quit flying not long after 911. The TSA people pulled me out of line because of the buckles on my suspenders and made a major case out of it. Then when we landed at BWI I watched them unload the luggage and break one of my suitcases by throwing it. When I complained the airlines attitude was not my job.
We are retired and time is relative. We drive, its usually a plesant exerience and we take different routes to keep the scenery fresh.

I think stop flying will put pressure on the airports and the airlines to address the tsa thing. Airports have the option to request private security. If they all start doing that it will put the issue on the front lines.

Boycotts don’t hurt the TSA. They hurt the airlines. Furthermore, when a business loses revenue due to a boycott they start making cuts at the bottom first and many hard working people could lose their jobs. The answer isn’t going after airlines, it is electing different people into office that will replace the TSA with a different and better system.

And one time the female Testicle Search Administrator who was checking her out declared that she would “have” to do a breast exam. One of the male TSAgents then replied to her “I’ll help with that!” i told her I would have had a team of lawyers down there before they could have blinked if anything like that had happened to me. RECOVERINGNEOCON “soon?” The TSA VIPR teams are already going to train stations, bus stations, all sorts of mass transit stations and doing random checks. They are also going out to the freeways and doing stops there. That happened close to my home. They had all sorts of vehicles out at the freeway, stopping everyone and doing searches and checks. TSA is everywhere. And even though BHO has declared the war on terror ‘over,’ he has no intention of taking down the laws.
