‘I Should Be the Joker’: Arrested Minn. Man Allegedly Threatens Mass Murder, Invokes Aurora Shooting Suspect James Holmes

Minnesota police arrested a 56-year-old man after they say he made “terroristic threats” of mass murder while referencing the Aurora, Colo. shootings, the Joker and alleged shooter James Holmes, CBS Minnesota reports.
Police were initially dispatched to Thomas Michael Casper’s home in Minneapolis for a simple loud music complaint, police records indicate. However, it was soon discovered that Casper was wanted for an outstanding warrant in Dakota County, Minn.
It wasn’t until the officers began to arrest him that Casper reportedly began threatening mass murder and talking about the shootings in Aurora, Colo., where Holmes, 24, went on a rampage during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises,” killing 12 people and wounding dozens more.
According to the criminal complaint, Casper called himself “the Joker” and warned his neighbors: “I’m coming back. You guys are done.”
He then reportedly threatened police officers and went on this extremely disturbing rant:
“I’m such a criminal. I should be the Joker. If I had a gun, I would kill you. I should have dyed my hair orange. Let me out. I’ll kill you. My home is in foreclosure. I have been kicked out of my house. What else can go wrong? It doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t own a gun but if I did I would do what Holmes did. I would blow people away. Put me in jail for the rest of my life, I don’t care. Put me in jail with criminals. I grab them by the throat and kill them.”
KMSP reports Casper also told officers while in custody: ”You better not let me go, or I’ll go after the neighbors… I don’t own a weapon, but I’ll come after you f**kers and I’ll shoot you. I can understand why Holmes does it. Let me have your gun, I’ll shoot you in the f**king head. I’ll find you sometime.”
He apparently told the arresting officers that he was going to come back and kill them continuously during the ride to the Dakota County Jail. The incident took place on July 31.
Because of the man’s sheer desperation and his claims that he has nothing left to live for, officials are taking his threats seriously and believe he may attempt to carry out the attacks.
Casper, who is currently in police custody on $80,000 bond, is charged with one count of terroristic threats and faces up to five years in prison and/or up to $10,000 in fines.

He hit a beam b/c the truck was too high, and ended up being killed. But the deal is the guy’s name is Raheem Aaron Waheed, he had no known/permanent address, the truck was empty and nobody’s really questioning it save for a few radio hosts. Test run perhaps? It just sounds stange.

I’m not in to conspiracy theories, but something just doesn’t seem right about all of these shootings and threats of gun violence, and how quick the left is prepared to come out screaming about more gun control. I’m having a really hard time chalking this all up to coincidence.

If Al Qaeda can get people to blow themselves up can’t the left convince people to cause a scene or maybe harm people for the cause of for something else down the line?
Personally i think it was a psychic break brought on by stress of foreclosure & future homelessness. Add to it the the foreclosure was probably brought on by a lay off & there being a bad economy, this is bound to happen. It is a bell curve thing. Some people will take bad news like this & suck it up & redouble their efforts, some will go with the flow & some will lash out.
I think he didn’t care because he pulled the lever & got 3 lemons. I bet without a job or home their is no missus. He also probably has no support network to back him up such as strong family bonds, faith group, or others. Given that what do you expect?
