‘I Want You to See the Warning Signs’: Beck Outlines Italy’s Return to Fascism

Earlier this week on GBTV, Glenn Beck delivered what he referred to as “some of the most important information” on the economy he has ever given. Naturally, he discussed the eurozone crisis and the global economy.
As noted earlier on The Blaze, the EU continues to creep closer to the edge of total financial meltdown; there are many warning signs and Beck addressed some of these.
During the GBTV program, Beck dissected the situation in Italy, including the installation of unelected technocrats, and explained how policies that have been put in place in the EU could be coming to America.
Think that’s over-the-top? Consider what‘s going on right now in the EU and compare that to what’s happening with MF Global.
“Italy is rapidly heading towards fascism,” Beck said. “Their brand of newly unelected technocratic government should be kind of a red flag — or a black flag as far as Italy is concerned.”
“I want you to see the warning signs here,” Beck continued, “We’re talking about a country that is famous for its laid-back, slow-moving lifestyle. They don’t get things done overnight.”
Or do they?
“But that’s exactly what happened during four days this past November when the Prime Minster stepped down. He was abruptly replaced by unelected technocrats,” Beck said.
Don’t know what a technocrat is? See Glenn Beck explain via GBTV:
Things do not look good right now. Indeed, the EU sounds downright dangerous. But the U.S. doesn’t need to worry about this, right?
Glenn Beck would disagree.
“The key to seeing what the future is [in the U.S.] is in MF Global,” Beck said. “MF Global, I believe, is just like everything else. If you understand what’s really is important in the MF Global story, you’ll be so far ahead, you’ll be able to protect yourself, your friends, your neighbors, your community.”
“But you need to understand the real story behind MF Global. It’s not about [Jon] Corzine, it’s not about any of this stuff. And when the average person figures it out, which they will eventually, there will be a run on the banks, the stock market, and the whole game will come undone,” Beck said.
But how would that work? How has it come to this?
As Beck says, “let’s dig in on the important stuff with MF Global” (via GBTV):
“Remember: MF Global physically stopped you — the little guy! — from being able to access your account into the safety deposit box. And what’s worse, is that MF Global’s role? That’s nothing. The banking authorities who handled the firm’s bankruptcy allowed this to happen. In fact, I believe [they] changed some of the rules to allow it to happen,” Beck said.
“If you don’t prepare yourself wisely,” Beck cautioned, “The best metals to invest in won’t be gold and silver. They will be brass and lead.”

Posted on January 18, 2012 at 10:48amSo we can agree that Italy is returning to whatever…police state, socialism etc. Not much an American citizen can do about it…but….knowing what is happening however can allow you to see something horrible building on the horizon which can hurt you here at home. Stocking up on goods is a great idea, being able to defend them is a great idea but remember this, when they use the law to come get you out of your bunker then what do you do? Most will follow orders leaving those who will fight to the death over their stored up goods to remain and be slaughtered. Most people will not die for their dry beans and rice. They’ll take their chances, give in to the smooth negotiator and be carted off to the FEMA Camp for resettlement and re-education. Lets say 10 million ppl have taken advice from ppl like Beck and a host of others to prepare. Do you think the government is going to allow those citizens to sit out the destruction of the USA while millions die in the streets of starvation? I don’t think so. When push comes to shove…ALL will be required to be in the same boat. Only those who have gotten themselves out to the very remotest areas will live in peace,,,that number will not be worth the time and energy to deal with.

I live more remote than most of the US, but still closer to WDC than would prevent migration to my neck of the WV mountains. Therefore, my wife and I are preparing for the possibility of some sort of migration of the uninivited. My plan for now is to maintain the stock, watch closely the events evolving in WDC and the world political arena and…Keep ‘em Loaded and Close at Hand! Liberty and Freedom are a way of life…not a government grant. Let’s all remember that!

There children won’t have a happy place to be either. For what??? for the 1% sitting on the pile of gold living large? You know like in Korea…..Cuba all those fun places…..not to mention the former Soviet Union. We have to educate them to the fact that NDAA INCLUDES THEM TOO and their kiddies and squeezes. We have to educate them that we the bottom at the pyramid support the top, the very top and they minute we step aside the TUMBLE.
NO WE DON’T HAVE TO ACCEPT A FUTURE OF FAMINE AND WAR IF EVERYONE DOES THE
“RIGHT THING TODAY.” Stop arresting dissenters. ARREST THE CAUSES!!!!!!
The politicans took the oath and have LIED=Dereliction of duty. Now they are taking OUR DIGNITY and the JOY out of our day……destroying what we have. I live in Minnisota and we have a very strong survivalist type section of our population. According to our failed liberal Newspaper, one of the most purchased items for Christmas this year were AR-15 semi-automatic weapons.
I am aware of at least 7 families in our little church who are “prepping” and our local Conservative radio program speaks about whole small farm towns stocking up on food/fuel/ ammo/guns out in the boonies.
Even members of my own family has put away items which may become scarce in the near future.

Posted on January 18, 2012 at 9:43amThe US would be better off if the transportation system was turned over to technocrats rather than the current system of project selection by politicians. The problem is the determination of need. Political need is not a proxy or even a good approximation for transportation need. Transportation need is simple, the shortest time and distance between any two points at a cost consistent with the value of the goods or the value of the travel. Instead we have politicians divided up into three categories carving up the Highway trust fund. Those categories are the local rural politicians, the local urban politicians and lately, it has been the Federal politicians through earmarking. Roads either make money or they cost more money than they make. The difference must be socialized. Because there are minimal technocrats involved, like accountants, engineers and people getting travel data, except what it takes to get the money out of the system for legal reimbursement, The roads being built over the last thirty years are far more likely to become economic burdens in the future. The mass economic failures of these roads are actually going to end up being the justification for higher taxes. We need a system of looking 50 years ahead, not to the next election.

Posted on January 18, 2012 at 9:35amA co-worker described something interesting that happened to him yesterday. He and his wife stopped at Wal-Mart to pickup some groceries. They got to the cashier after waiting in line for a long time. (He noticed that the lines were unusually long for a week-day). The cashier rang up their purchases and he tried to pay, as usual, with his debit card. The cashier apologized and said the C/C readers were all down. He left, went by his bank anytime teller and it was down. Went to 4 others and they all were down. He finally went to his home and got cash he had hidden there. He went back to Wal-Mart and found that the atmosphere had turned chaotic in a matter of 45 minutes or so. He said that people were getting panicky, rude and disruptive. He finally got his groceries, paid cash and left. He told me that he was glad he was able to get in and out as soon as he did, as in another hour things may have deteriorated from chaotic to dangerous. As it turns out the problem with the C/C machine readers was local and eventually fixed. What I got from his story was how fast things can deteriorate when something as seemingly innocuous as C/C readers and teller machines quit working. I can only imagine what it would be like if that happened for a day, a week or month. People couldn’t get money to buy food (most people have less than a weeks worth at home). I would not be surprised if some wouldn’t start dieing off in as little as two weeks. My 1 year stash suddenly seemed inadequate.

PAUL’S PRO-AMERICA FOREIGN POLICY
* Make securing our borders the top national security priority.
* Avoid long and expensive land wars that bankrupt our country by using constitutional means to capture or kill terrorist leaders who helped attack the U.S. and continue to plot further attacks.
* Guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act.
* End the nation-building that is draining troop morale, increasing our debt, and sacrificing lives with no end in sight.
* Follow the Constitution by asking Congress to declare war before one is waged.
* Only send our military into conflict with a clear mission and all the tools they need to complete the job – and then bring them home.
* Ensure our veterans receive the care, benefits, and honors they have earned when they return.
* Revitalize the military for the 21st century by eliminating waste in a trillion-dollar military budget.
* Prevent the TSA from forcing Americans to either be groped or ogled just to travel on an airplane and ultimately abolish the unconstitutional agency.
* Stop taking money from the middle class and the poor to give to rich dictators through foreign aid.
As President, Ron Paul’s national defense policy will ensure that the greatest nation in human history is strong, secure, and respected.

Posted on January 18, 2012 at 9:41amIsrael is a huge sticking point for Beck, as he’s based a huge movement on the “I Stand with Israel!” motto. But it’s also one of his truly non-conservative notions. We just had an article on here last week about Iranian scientists being assassinated with car bombs, and all fingers point to Israel as the culprit. Do we support car bombing? Do we think those kinds of actions don’t have any consequences?
The US has armed, trained, and backed up Israel for decades. Let them stand on their own now, and be responsible for their own actions. By all means we should remains friendly with them, but that’s as far as it should go. No more aid, no more weapons.

Paul’s deliverer y sometimes is poor at best, but he was not given the time to responded. Like when Dr. Paul’s was talking about Bin laden His view on Bin Laden is the same as what Israel did with Adolf Otto Eichmann After the war, he fled to Argentina . He was captured by Mossad operatives in Argentina and taken to Israel to face trial in an Israeli court on 15 criminal charges, including crimes against humanity and war crimes. He was found guilty and executed by hanging.
But they kept interrupting him and cutting off before his time was up.
Paul also voted and supported the authority to go after Bin Laden.
What these Paul Haters don’t understand is its not about Paul, it’s the Message.
