‘Kick Him in the Jimmy’: GOP Congressional Candidate’s Eye-Popping Reaction to Santorum

Retired Air Force Col. Martha McSally is a war hero of sorts. She is the first American woman to fly in combat. She’s tough. And now she’s running for retired Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’s Congressional seat. But how tough is McSally? Well, on “Fox & Friends” Friday morning, she said she wanted to kick Rick Santorum in the crotch.
That’s not hyperbole. That’s really what McSally — a Republican — admitted.
Because her position as a female military member, Fox’s Steve Doocey played audio of Santorum talking about woman in combat and the “emotions” associated with that. (Click here to see what Santorum really meant by those remarks.) When asked for a reaction, McSally didn’t hold back.
“You know I agree with many of the things that Rick Santorum says, but when I heard this I really just wanted to go kick him in the jimmy.”
“Kick him in the jimmy?” Doocy asked.
“Yeah, he’s totally out of touch. I mean, completely out of touch. These are the types of arguments we heard 20-25 years ago as to why women couldn’t be fighter pilots.”
Doocy went on to ask if McSally would support Santorum if he became the GOP presidential nominee. She said she’d like to have a meeting with him to discuss some things.
“I don’t think I would mention the jimmy part to him,” Doocy said.
McSally’s response: dead silence and a smile.
“Yeah, I guess not,” Doocy said.
Here’s how it happened:
By the way, an interesting discussion has broken out amongst the editorial team here at The Blaze: is “jimmy” capitalized? Urban dictionary uses both the capitalized and non-capitalized word (although seems to settle on the latter). And according to dictionary.com, “jimmy” means “a short crowbar.” I guess it’s not hard to imagine how the phrase “getting kicked in the jimmy” came to be, then.
For the record, as you can see, we’ve settled on the lower case version.

Thw Military is not supposed to be a social program. BTW if you want to be gay and serve, I could care less…until you flaunt it openly with a lisp or a gay walk. Then you deserve the a@@ kicking you get. The military is to be used for killling the enemy quickly.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 10:53amYeah……I think women can do just as good a job or better than men flying jets and a whole list of things…..but Rick Santorum was talking about women on the front lines in combat on the ground. And I don’t care how tough this lady is…….. if it gets down to hand to hand combat, she is most likely to loose. I think in a combat situation, a man is naturally programmed to turn on the defense mechanism and have a tendency to get as vicious as needed to win the battle. I don’t think women are programmed that way. Then factor in the 60-100lbs a fit 6,2″ soldier against what a 145lb woman……give me a break. But these types of feminists just want to make people believe that they are equal in every way. Every way perhaps but the genetic physical disposition male vs female.

I’m sure you are blatantly aware, but turning the military into a social program is EXACTLY what all this is about.
I’ve served with women, homosexuals, and people of nearly every race, creed, and religion. I don’t give a crap what you are so long as you are of good character and do your job.
The repeal of ‘Don’t ask, don‘t tell’ was a maneuver to INJECT discourse and ‘social justice’ on members of the military. Nobody who served, including homosexuals I knew who were serving BEFORE the repeal, gave a crap about the issue.
The more they can divide the military, the more control they can assert over it. Martha McChing is a perfect example of ‘I am woman – hear me roar’, and I know quite a few other female A-10 pilots who absolutely cannot stand her. These female A-10 pilots work hard to prove themselves in WHAT they do, not WHO they are.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 11:22amI can’t imagine a real man saying he wants to be like a woman, and shun his God-given responsibility to protect his family and, if need be, his country. I don’t freaking care what secular women, feminists or liberals say. GOD didn’t create women to abandon the home, leave their children without a mother, and run to a godforsaken hellhole to fight a war. Women are physically weaker; their hormones change every month; they can get pregnant and carry an innocent life in their bodies.
Ironically, these same women are fully aware that they are NOT men when birth control is in play. They scr*w the Constitution and God over their so-called WOMEN’s rights: Birth control is about a WOMAN’s body. WOMEN alone get pregnant. WOMEN alone decide whether they want to kill their baby or not. WOMEN have other female needs that may require birth control pills- MAN! the in-your-face list is endless! But when it comes to war… well… I guess they suddenly grow a jimmy. Oh, the wonders of evolution.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 11:38amI love these women who believe in “total” equality with men. Let her pick 9 women – any women from anywhere – it really won’t matter, and have a little hand-to-hand combat with 10 men and leave the last man standing as the winner. I say last man because that’s exactly who will be standing – a MAN. Then give them weapons and try the same. You’ll get the same results. Then play a game of tackle football, or basketball, or soccer, or boxing, or UFC, or any “physical” sport – same results. Not being sexist here, just making the point that there are limits to equality between women and men and physical is the most obvious. Sorry, but when it comes down to it, I want a man in the fox-hole next to me on the front lines or a man dragging me out of a burning building (I’m 215lbs).

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 8:52pmHere’s the basic issue (in the minds of Men) regarding Women serving on the front lines in combat. Men have a natural instinct to protect Women. This has been going on since the time of Cavemen (and Cavewomen). Men have a basic tenet to be fearful of military Women being captured and gang raped by the enemy. This happened to 2 Women captured in Desert Storm if you remember.
Men and Women have bodies that are built differently (Duh). Men are basically stronger but, Women throughout History have been known to outperform Men and basically kick their but. One of the best aerobatic pilots today is a Woman and many Martial Arts Women can kick any normal Joe’s butt way down the preverbal street.
Men just want to protect and love their Women and see no harm done to them. It’s not a racist issue or a (stupid) LGBT, etc, issue. Every normal Man is wired to protect his Woman. Changing that is like changing the DNA of Humans. It’s not going to happen. Even GI Jane, Demi Moore, was raped during the training part of that movie. Most Men are wired to prevent that from ever happening. Those who are not wired that way are sick…..

Look into the Israeli army they tried it.
Repeatedly soldiers would run into certian death trying to get to a wounded female, “Gotta save her!” Where they would have left a Male. “Sucks to be you.”

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 9:57amJust the disconnect between what those like Santorum see as proper for women and what some women choose to do with their lives. Santorum does not see women as warriors. He only sees their vulnerabilities. Now, a male soldier can have horrible acts committed on them if captured, they can be sexually violated, they can be sexually mutilated. A female can have acts committed upon them as well. So why be against women in the battlefield? Because he sees them as needing protection. But, this is what they signed up for. In a battlefield, they are going to want their fellow soldiers to treat them like any other soldier and their fellow soldiers will understand this. Santorum is just unable to give them that respect.

Some of them worked and tried hard but physically was unable to perform the task. So, after I carried my 65lb hydraulic servicing unit on top of my aircraft, I would get the luxury of carrying theirs up and down their aircraft. 4 out 10 of woman on the carrier would get pregnant during a 6 month cruise. Plus, men naturally have the instinct to protect women (rightly so) which could compromise the whole unit. This woman was a pilot. She never seen the people she killed. If you’ve never served along side them, you DON‘T know what you’re talking about! Woman have a role in the military but NOT IN COMBAT!

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 10:12amWhy is there always a push to have women abandon the very things that make them women? Don’t get me wrong, most ladies (like most men) can be tough as nails when need be, but when a woman consistently acts like a male, she sets aside the things that make her feminine; often the very things that bring out the best in men. Can women fight? Of course they can! Do they have to fight? When absolutely necessary! But this woman‘s response to Santorum show’s she’s no longer a lady but wants to be treated like a man… well, so be it. The gloves should come off and see how she handles herself in the arena… But she should remember, she‘s no longer in a cockpit but in the arena of ideas and now that she’s not wearing a helmet and flying a 40 million dollar jet we can see her face and when she spouts off it will have serious consequences that‘s she’ll have to be prepared to accept. Maybe she‘ll do okay but I suspect that she’s more like to offend than inspire. And that’s my analysis..PS: Note that I didn’t say she was right or wrong just that the way she handled this is going to have consequences. Have a greeeaaaat day ; )

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 10:29amJP16, His opinion on women in combat has nothing to do with seeing women as vulnerable. It has to do with the way men act around women. No relationship (either romantic or just being friends) can compromise the mission or the unit. Doesn’t matter if a woman is involved or not. Neither can be compromised and bringing women into the combat role brings more chance of that happening.

Posted on February 18, 2012 at 12:23amWomen are physically weaker than men. Their muscle fibers are by design, less numerous than men’s. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2759948 This means that given equal training regimes, without steroidal alteration, women are incapable of attaining strength equal/superior to a man’s.
This is however where the blanket statements need to stop. Woman and men are different, however there are exceptions to every statement. Have you ever met a guy that you just thought dude you think like a woman? There are also women who think like a male. It is not to say that they are unfeminine in any other respect. There are woman who are logical, have outstanding spacial relationship abilities, and possess both the superior visual awareness of a male and the superior hearing and smell sensibilities of woman. Then there is the phenomenon known as woman’s intuition ;)
Women who have experienced trauma in their lives, such as rape, molestation, domestic violence and/or witnessed unnatural death will either be forever weakened or rise to be emotionally stronger than an average male. This is statistically significant in that females are more than 5x more likely to experience the above than men in non-combat situations. Long and short, woman are more likely to present at a doctor with PTSD, but also respond better to treatment.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 9:48amAnd if he said that he would kick her ass everyone would get all upset over a man intimidating a poor innocent woman. Women are weaker than men, either due to God creating them that way, or evolution if you believe that, and it matters, in life and in combat. Our Navy ships have become floating birthing clinics where female “sailors” get pregnant then get let out on paid leave to raise their chimp on the public dole. Yeah, that makes sense.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 9:46amMcChing is a complete JOKE in the A-10 community.
It figures this woman who ‘blazed a trail’ would turn to politics – and sound like the complete buffoon she is on national t.v.
She is exactly the type of person we DON’T need in politics today.

There is also a “Johnson” which is reference to a wheeled long lever with a short lifting platform.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 9:52amThere are a lot of pansy men that can’t do it either, but if woman are allowed in combat roles the physical standards, including upper body strength requirements, need to be made the same. Right now woman’s PT testing has lesser requirements than the mens. Also, they need to be required to sign for the draft like the men. Equal is equal.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 10:17amI’ll probably be shot for this, but here it goes. I am a woman and I enjoy being a woman.Very independent-I‘ve raised 3 kids on my own for the better part of 14 yrs and haven’t dated in 13yrs. I decided not to drag men in and out of my kids lives for ‘my own happiness’ (never understood that crap anyway) until my youngest son graduates high school. I am of the firm belief that men and women were crated differently for a darn good reason. Women have strengths and excel in ways men can’t and vice verse.
Report Post »I thank her for her service, but it is women like her that are dragging down our military and our TRUE feminism. Although she may not realize it, ‘ladies’ like her are the reason our military men now have to wear fake bellies and breasts so they they can relate to fellow pregnant female soldiers (story in stars and stripes). I do believe there is a place for women in the military, but not at the expense of weakening our male soldiers mentally or on the front lines.
It is not equality for her to let crap like that come out of her mouth when a male would be fired for saying the same thing about her. I’m in AZ but not in her district, but I can assure you I will be taking to folks that are.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 11:38amAt least FNC is just blatant about their support for Romney. All this supposed support for Santorum when he polled at about 7% followed by constant attacks when he is on top in the polls, is just a tad too much to transparent.

Report Post »For the first time, my friend, you sound like a Paul sheeple — and that’s as bad as it gets. Beck has been for Santorum from the very beginning. He is friends with the guy and thinks Santorum is “a George Washington” (possibly the dumbest thing Beck has ever said). Beck’s buddies are not as enthused about Santorum, but they believe he‘s the best we’ve got. Those are not “hit pieces.” Au contraire, they are posted to expose moonbat lunacy and give us a chance to respond to it. Glenn also posts all the crazed comments the foaming commies and their media make about him.

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 9:52amI thank her for sacrificing her time. All political and media will go after #1. In the media’s case they go after the most conservative .My question thought is why would a so-called Republican even partake in such behavior?.U.S.A. as we know it now needs Obama gone from the White House.I see spell check doesn’t even see Obama as correct! That’s hilarious!
