‘I Was Wrong’: Bill Clinton Backs Off Obama Criticism in New Book

Former President Bill Clinton said Tuesday he "was wrong" about some of his criticism of the Obama administration in his forthcoming book. (AP)
Bill Clinton made headlines last week with what was interpreted as criticism of President Barack Obama in his forthcoming book. But now, the former president is taking some of that criticism back and saying he was wrong — and it was an email from the White House that changed his mind.
In his new book “Back to Work: Why We Need Smart Government for a Strong Economy,” Clinton attacked Obama’s approach to job creation and federal debt ceiling negotiations, saying the administration has been guilty of “poor communication and strategic misfires.” He wondered why the White House would agree to raise the Bush-era tax cuts in December without insisting on raising the debt ceiling as well.
According to Politico, Clinton told a New York audience Tuesday he recently received an email about those negotiations from White House economic adviser Gene Sperling. In it, Clinton said, Sperling reassured him, “Oh, we tried” and blamed the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) whom he said threatened a filibuster.
“I was wrong—see that didn’t hurt too bad,” Clinton said.

I was kinda hoping it would be a best seller so he could pay the $33 million that Mark Rich owed in back taxes when Clinton pardoned him. MKaybe Bill can do it on rthis book. If not obama can do a grant to buy them and send to countrys so they can put it in the out houses. That slick Sears cataloge pages are just to slick to be effective.
