‘I Will Be in the Resistance’: Meet the Pint-Sized Terrorist Darling of Lebanese TV

Islamic TV in Lebanon has a new darling for its daytime TV audience. His name is Imad, and not unlike many other child stars, he’s a close relative of a famous, popular celebrity. Unfortunately, that celebrity is none other than bloodthirsty Hezbollah mastermind Imad Mugniyah, the younger Imad’s namesake and grandfather. Watch the deeply disturbing appearance of this young terrorist-in-the-making here:

The video concludes with a chilling image of little Imad holding what appears to be a genuine, potentially live pistol as he runs offscreen to his mother.

The man Mugniyah is named for has been described as an “arch-terrorist” by Middle East News outlets. He was responsible for masterminding both the bombing at the American embassy in Beirut and the attack against the US Marines’ headquarters in Lebanon in 1983, which killed over 200 Americans. Mugniyah himself was killed in 2008, prompting an outcry from militant Islamic groups:

The assassination sends a powerful warning to the Damascus-based leaders of Hamas, the Palestinian militant group which is backed by Iran.

Hamas spoke out against Mugniyah’s assassination. “We condemn this crime and we emphasize the Muslim nation must rise up to confront the Zionist devil which is backed by the Americans,” said Hamas spokesman in Gaza, Samir Abu Zuhri.

The announcement of his death said Mugniyah for 20 years has been the target of “Zionists and oppressors” – in Hizbullah and Iranian parlance a reference to Israel and the United States.

    LOL so he is fighting for “their land back” consideirng the last war saw the israelis win against and take the land away from JORDAN. they do not seem to be to eager to go fight another war to get it back..

    Children are a blank slate wirrtten upon buy their surroundings and parenting. this litle boy could care less about hatred and violence now but when he grows up he will not know the real history of it but only what those who indoctinate him want him to believe.

      Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising weren’t blowing themselves up. The French resistance wasn’t using bomb vests, not even Irgun used bomb vests (and that was when the British were locking up hundreds of Jews on Cyprus). Moreover, none of those groups intentionally targeted innocent civilians. Even Irgun itself told the British and the King David Hotel that they were going to blow up that wing an hour in advance. Meanwhile, Palestinians use bomb vests not to attack checkpoints or soldiers but to attack restaurants, markets, buses, and residential areas. The Arabs were the first people to use bomb vests regularly.

      Did the Irgun mine the bodies of Mervyn Paice and Clifford Martin after hanging them… you know, much like the Iraqi hangings of Americans from the bridge?

      Did the Irgun dress up like Arabs to plant the bomb that killed many innocent civilians in and around the King David Hotel? Didn’t those terrorist Jews hold the record, for decades, of most civilians killed in a terrorist attack?

      Wasn’t it the Jews who brought modern day terrorism to the Middle East in the form of Irgun, Stern Gang, and Haganah… groups copied by Hezbollah, Hamas, and al Qaeda?

      If Hamas is a copy of Irgun, why do they only attack civilians and not military? With the exception of Stern’s Gang, which was the smallest and least influential, the Jewish terrorists targeted military targets. You say they mined the bodies of British MILITARY? Clearly an attack against the British soldiers. The King David Hotel? They were targeting a British command post located in the hotel and they CALLED AHEAD to warn the British. The British didn’t take the threat seriously.

      The truth Jerk is that Hamas doesn’t attack roadblocks or military bases. Neither does Hezbollah. Al Qaeda does but, as we saw on 9/11 and the 93 bombing, that‘s only because they’ll anything they can get to. Did Irgun ever send agents to London to blow up Big Ben? No. Why? Because their goal was only to convince the British to leave. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al Qaeda only wish to destroy. Hamas’ charter itself says that peaceful solutions are unacceptable and that Jihad is the only way to achieve their goals. And you’ll notice that both the PLO and Hamas logos show all of modern day Israel (minus the Golan Heights) and not just the disputed territories. What does that say?

      If you thought about that question, you would know. For the same reason that we carpet bombed Germany and fire bombed Japan. That’s war. Far more civilians were killed than military personnel. In Hiroshima 80,000 civilians were killed, not the military.

      American and European Jews invaded the Middle East and took other people’s land, businesses, and homes. When the Germans did the same to the Jews, it was called an atrocity. The only thing that has changed is your moral relativism.

      1. Jordan was also known as Palestine therefore his argument isn’t completely false. More Palestinians live in Jordan today than anywhere else.
      2. You didn’t answer my question. Instead of explaining how Hamas is based on Irgun you compared Hamas to a real military force fighting a real war against a real army. When we bombed Germany we were attempting to destroy their industry so they wouldn’t be able to fight back. We weren’t aiming for small villages with no factories. Hamas doesn’t target industry or military either. America was fighting the German Army while they were dropping bombs. When Palestinian civilians are killed by the IDF it‘s collateral damage because they weren’t the intended targets. When Hamas murders Israeli civilians, the civilians are the only intended targets. When was the last time Hamas took any action to either attack or weaken the Israeli military directly?

      Hezbollah opposes Assad? Hezbollah is funded by Assad. Syria allowed Hezbollah to exist so they could control Lebanon without actually occupying it. Hezbollah has its own military-like forces while being a political party in a democratic nation. In many ways, they are occupying Lebanon, or at the very least exist in a constant state of rebellion which the Lebanese government can’t oppose.

Israel has been under nearly constant attack since before it was founded. Israel has far more restraint than many Western countries. Do you really think Israel wants to have to check pregnant women on their way to the hospital for bombs? Do you think Israel wants to take military action in densely populated areas?       Innocents do get killed in war. That is a sad fact. However, this child is being raised to kill. Rules of Engagement mean nothing. As an adult, any killing he does will be intened not accidental.

      I am an Army Brat. I never heard my father once talk about killing innocents on purpose. He served in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. My father never insisted that I enter the military.

    I‘d like to see that little darling’s face when he realizes the hoax his parents are playing on him! I can tell you that I wasn’t very happy to join our Army in 1968, right after Tet. But, I figured that if I had to do it, I’d make the best of it, and I PAID VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO TRAINING! And, I am so glad to have been brought up in a Christian family, and NOT told that all asians are the enemy. When you get into a situation where the other guy is trying to kill you, then you responsd accordingly; but, until that happens, you wish no man ill! Now, I could just rely on our courts to be equitable and fair, rather than unduly influenced by those that have learned how to lie, cheat and steal, using ‘the system’ as their weapon! Alas, our precious USofA has it’s flaws–but it sure beats the alternative!

      Jerk, you can call this propaganda from Israel all you want – the clip was from Islamic TV in Lebanon – the tag of Memri at the top reads ‘translated by Memri’. It is not Israel that is prompting this small child to become a terrorist, it is not Israel that put that gun in the small boy’s hands, it is not Israel that is whispering in the poor child’s ear on what to say. To not be appalled that a child is being raised with such hatred is sad. Whether you side with Palestine or Israel, it is disturbing that children are being raised with guns in their hands, that they are being taught to one day martyr themselves and quite frankly, being taught not to think for themselves – if you notice, not one thing that came out of that child’s mouth where his words – they were first said by the two adults holding him – he was just parroting them.       How about we define propaganda. Is propaganda based on truth or fiction? Can it be based on either? The answer is very important because what you just called propaganda is simply a group showing a clip from a real TV broadcast. Now on the other hand, when a Palestinian dresses up (poorly) as an Israeli soldier holding an AK-47 (big giveaway) and stands over a Palestinian and pretends to be beating them, that‘s an image based on something that’s false.

      There’s another category I forgot though: Propaganda based on half-truths. Half-truths are facts that, while true, fail to give a complete picture. Many propagandists use half-truths to support their arguments because the facts can’t be refuted. You Jerk, for example, use the historical fact that Jews have been oppressed in many countries to make a point. This is a half-truth because you fail to look at history to find the reasons for this oppression and instead make judgements based on your own historical context living in this day and age. To present the whole truth you would have to delve into the true historical context, which you only do when it supports your arguments. For instance, you’ll insist Israel is aggressive but ignore the fact that they were always attacked first.

    Wire, Sorry you cannot see the good of the country you live in – this is the most generous nation on the earth. Our military does humanitarian missions around the world bringing medical care to poor countries, we give assistance in natural disasters (often the first responders and the last to leave) and give of our time and money more than any other nation. There are faults in all societies and no one calls America perfect but to compare what is being taught to children in Lebanon, the level of hatred and violence, that death is better than life, to children in America who are taught to hunt is just ridicules.

We need more moderate voices, not radical ones, if you want to put the Muslim community in a better light because I do believe the vast majority in the United States are not radical. I would call it radical to overthrow a democratically elected government of another sovereign nation, and replace that elected government with an oppressive dictator. You don’t like that fact, so you address the response by those oppressed people to their oppression. It’s like you hitting someone in the head with a hammer, then calling that someone a violent narcissist for punching you back.

    Please explain that fiction in terms of the crucifixion of Christ and the behavior of Paul before his conversion.     Could this worldwide, and nearly universal, resentment of this particular ethnic group be based on the fact that this ethnic group was a self-described nation without borders, all harboring the same loyalties to each other, rather than to the nation where they existed and lived? Could it be that a Jew living in Russia had more allegiance, and more in common, to a Jew living in Germany than either had to a person living down the street from each?

    Jerk, Look up past posts not just by me but others that did not name call but disputed your ‘facts’. You say we don’t like the facts, well you don’t either – you twist them your way (already know your response so please don’t bother – you say I twist them my way – find but it just goes to show facts are not as absolute as you think they are). And you are selective in what you respond to as well – I addressed the need for more moderate voices (yours is not one of them) and you instead talk about the definition of radical. The fact is radical Islamic nations are more tyrannical towards their population – Christians are killed, women are made into third class citizens with little to no rights (second class would be a step up for them), gays are hanged, opposition is suppressed as well as eliminated and religious freedom is denied. It is in the best interest of American not to have such governments in place because they breed terrorism.

    It should be noted that Jews used the educational systems of the Europeans to educate themselves. They did not invent the systems of education. They used something that others invented. Then, in many instances, they turned that acquired education into a weapon, against the society that they used, destroying/changing that culture.
    It should also be noted that, historically, the German Jews who first migrated to this country considered the Eastern European Jews ignorant and illiterate.
    So, history can tell a very different story.

    I was specifically referring to the oppressive nature of the Catholic Church up to and throughout the Middle Ages. The Enlightenment, among other things, changed Christianity for the better but the process is still only just nearing completion.

    Throughout most of European history, people only trusted people of the same ethnicity as them. Jews simply were the most different and the only ones who had nowhere else to go and no homeland to return to.
    The issue of the Jews oppressing early Christians was one of religious infighting. Christians weren’t separate from Jews and were seen as heretics, similar to Messianic Jews today. For something you’d understand, look at how the Church responded to the Reformation. How was that any different?
    As for Herzl, he once saw himself as a citizen of the country he lived in and all his fellow citizens were his neighbors. Then there was the Dreyfus Affair. What was that? It was an event where a French Jewish officer was falsely accused and later convicted of treason. The trial was highly controversial with antisemitism reaching a new high in a country where Jews had been granted full citizenship. Even when the true culprit was brought forward years later, the court acquitted him and a battle began to uphold the sentence against Dreyfus. Herzl, a reporter at the trial, had his eyes opened and realized that the Jews weren’t being seen as countrymen. They were tolerated but not accepted. That was the day he embraced

    @THE_JERK I guess your one of the commentators on here that cannot agree at all with anyone who denounces Muslims even in the slightest. I can see that you‘re well educated and know what you’re speaking of, but I also see you’re strong attraction towards useless arguing. In all this time, haven’t you learned that comment wars never produce a winner?

    Besides that, I’d like to comment on *gasp* the story! I think whats happening here is a very negative glimpse into the Muslim world. So what if anyone else has done this before? That doesn’t mean you have the right to repay it with evil. Surely they were not looking towards justification with the excuse that other’s have done it before; instead it’s buried deep in their motives to do it, which is wrong no matter who else may have committed it.

    It‘s funny in a way that they have a story about showing off a kid’s ambition to join the resistance while we’d be more likely to show a story about a heroic kid who decides to make a program helping old people out of there homes; and yes, the latter story is fabricated, but its meant to give you just an idea of the two differing views.

Please watch the clip again and if you do belong to religion of peace call upon your fellow Muslims to lay down their arms, teach the children about love and condemn killing.

    Before those educational systems were invented (which didn’t happen until around the time of the printing press) Jews had their own educational system where they learned to read and write in their own language, something most non-Jews didn’t do. Even when education began to take hold it was usually the elites who participated while most Jews were traders or peasants. And Eastern European Jews were likely considered uneducated because they didn’t study secular subjects.
    For Jews education is an obligation from the Torah itself. Prior to the reformation, Christians were mostly illiterate.

    I watched a moderate Saudi guy calling for the death of a blogger and other liberal journalists in their OWN country, All Muslims, because they ‘insult’ allah by saying they do not understand his ways and for not paying proper homage to Mohammed. This is a moderate. He says he is one of the most outspoken opponents of violence. If that’s moderate, we are screwed if someone like Ron Paul or any liberal gets into office. They just do not understand the hatred Islam promotes.

    Go watch some of the little kid shows on MemriTV. They have a whole section devoted to the indoctrination of children.

    I remember as a child of the age of 10, I owned a gun and used it, to hunt for food, at ten I helped feed my family, I never wanted to kill anyone for a religion. My parents never taught me to hate because someone was different, and as long as you leave me and my family alone I have no problem with letting you live your life that way you want. Oh and by the way my son, daughter and nephew have all been taught to hunt by me. Call me red neck if you like, but my family will not need the government to give us anything.
