‘Ideological Straitjacket’: Limbaugh Goes After Obama For Being a ‘Close-Minded Economic Bigot’

Speaking in terms his detractors can understand, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh on Friday accused President Obama of being a “close-minded economic bigot.”
“You, sir,” Limbaugh said addressing the president’s handling of the U.S. economy, “are the one creating the mess. The days of ‘who created the mess?’ are long gone. You inherited the mess and you doubled-down on it. You have made the mess even worse.”
Limbaugh went on to explain that the president’s repeated calls to move “forward,” and away from the policies that “helped to create this mess in the first place,” are misguided and disingenuous because they disregard the economic successes experienced under these same policies.
“During this time in [President] Reagan’s first term, our economy was growing at six percent … unemployment was dropping like a rock from double-digits under Carter. We were creating 600,000 jobs a month,” he said.
“And when Reagan was done, we had created over 20 million news job; economic growth for 25 years like the nation had not seen in a century. So, yeah,” Limbaugh continued, “that’s what Obama says we can’t go back to.”
The conservative host had strong words of disapproval for the President.
“He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Ideological straightjacket. A close-minded economic bigot is what Barack Obama is,” he said.

Cloaked as R and D they used the same play book only trading sides in a fake battle, with he press as cheerleaders. The American people are tired of this as they keep getting it in the neck and the wallet. Washington progressives have been heavily playing the favorites game while setting up to overthrow this country and what it represents to mankind. Freedom. The Rs and the Ds both play this game and The People are the losers. We The People are not playing any more.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
It was always understood by many that Rush Limbaugh was a shill and a pimp for the Republican party and NWO. He may very well be.
Noone can be blamed for holding Limbaugh in low regard, however, it is this REPORTER’S opinion that Mr. Limbaugh is starting to come around, starting to see the light.
Rush, if you read this, as I know you sometimes do, could you please be aware that our country is in such perilous times that you need to lose your political affiliations (or at least tame them) and start speaking as an American and not a member of the Republican Party.
You have a very large audience Rush and now, more than ever, you need to spread the word about what’s really going on in our land. You need to be an American first, then a Republican. Not a Republican then an American.
You didn’t have the chance to fight on D-Day or Iwo Jima, or at The Bulge you were born much too late. . . but you can show your courage by speaking out more clearly and educating folks in order to try to save our great nation. You have the largest listening audience in the nation.

Posted on August 4, 2012 at 11:25amZipit,
Common sense does not apply to large, incredibly complicated systems. You’re making a good example of my earlier comment about cognitive styles. It seems to me, from your comment, you prefer to think you have a good handle on the world through your own cognitive abilities, your own mental gatherings about reality. It’s a cognitive tendency of some people. I’m guessing you have an intuitive thinking style.
I know economics is lacking a “unified theory” explaining economies consistently well. However, given the highly complicated nature of an economy, much study and research is needed to understand how the trillions of economic transactions we make translate into economic phenomena. Someone with real world experience doesn’t have the data nor the ability to make meaningful statements about the overall state of an economy. It just isn’t possible.

Rush wanted, and still want’s “liberalism” to fail…….regardless of who is trying to foist it upon us.
And who in their right mind would NOT want that?………..You maybe?

“Now the object of this letter is simply to put our story before you to tell you of the great burden upon our business. This burden comes, not merely in direct taxes, but even more in limiting the purchasing powers of those who would buy from us if they could, but who cannot buy if they in turn are stripped by taxation.”
From Taxation: The People’s Business by Andrew Mellon, 1924, p 101

Posted on August 3, 2012 at 6:21pmobamas mind was closed from the time he was conceived with radical parents, i would say he did not have a chance to learn the difference between freedom and communism as a child, but as an adult that is on him, he has been taught but radicals and sit in a church that hates god,America and whites, so again it is on him,but what is more disturbing, is his children will be raised the same way, and he and his left wing commie loving friends call me a racist and the one who is the reason for this country going down hill because i still believe in family, freedom and the constitution, i don’t think they make a straight jacket big enough for obama and his commie ideologue nor do we have enough material to make jackets for all of his buddies, so i say just put them on a plane and send them to russia, they like the government to control every thing.

Posted on August 3, 2012 at 6:21pmBarry is a neo-marxist.
He believes that government is all, he even says it outright: ‘you didn’t build this’
He did build something, a giant temple to failure called his presidency.

Posted on August 3, 2012 at 6:15pmObama is a Marxist, plain and simple. Rush is right, he can’t do anything different because his entire worldview is predicated on the assumption that capitalism exploits and communism is altruistic. Its the reason that he has to constantly use a teleprompter, lest he betray his true feelings (”you didn’t build that”, “they cling to their God and their Guns”, “I think that spreading the wealth around is a good thing” etc…). He is locked into a destructive course and he’s taking us along for the ride. Can we please, just this once, get our act together on the right and get this commie the hell out of the White House?
Harry Reid is a MEGA-DOUCHE!!!
