One of America’s Most Beloved Presidents…Was a Vampire Hunter? Watch the Trailer!

A few summers ago “mash-up” genre novels seemed to be all the rage. First Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, then Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, and then Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. The heroic rendition portrays America’s Sixteenth President not only as the liberator of enslaved African-Americans, but also as a skilled killer of Vampires. The popular 2010 book is set to hit the big screen this summer as an epic 3D blockbuster. 20th Century Fox has released the film’s first trailer and, as expected, it looks awesome:
The novel claims to be based on the “secret diaries” of the first Republican president, and IMDb’s one sentence description of the film’s storyline reads; “Lincoln’s mother is killed by a supernatural creature, which fuels his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers.”
I’m in.
The film stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln, Dominic Cooper as vampire killing mentor Henry Sturgess, and newcomer Benjamin Walker as honest Abe.

Note the investment in our society, to misdirect, dilute and misinform. Be it media, entertainment or education, It’s a multi pronged attack on the masses. To dismiss it is foolish.
Why do you see students who are clueless to American History, yet know the reality starts by heart. They praise murders and tyrants as heroes be it Ernesto “Che”:Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse Tung, Joseph “Boxcar Jo” Stalin. Hell it’s only a matter of time before they turn Osama Bin Laden into a freedom fighting hero. After all our specially challenged liberals love anyone who hates this nation, take Code Pink for example who have fully embraced Hamas Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Not to say the full out war on any faith, that’s not Islam
Are you familiar with the window of normality?
But sure is just a movie, keep telling yourself that.

We took away “WASHINGTON’S BIRTHDAY.”
We created “President’s Day.”
We eliminated celebrating the accomplishments of our two greatest Presidents, and now we just ignore “Presidents Day.“ Just ask a college student what ”President’s Day” is.
Now, we turn Abraham Lincoln into a fictional character in a vampire movie.

Posted on February 13, 2012 at 10:02pmSo did the British, they still wanted this country. My family worked with the Russian Embassy in Havana Cuba to secure the Russian Navy’s support to keep the British from getting involved. The British banks backed the South primarily because of the cotton textile industry. Lincoln went to Europe to secure financing but the banks wanted 20 percent and Lincoln said no. We had no gold standard so Lincoln decided ordered the Treasury print Greenbacks. It worked, the Greenbacks were secured by the faith of the American people not by Gold.

He allowed, regretfully, states to enter the union as slave-owning states in order to form the union and save it from falling apart before it formed. He went to war to free the slaves, partly because that was the last option left with, and the second half because the South attacked first, taking over a base, millitary turning on the North, etc.
Luckily we don’t have to rely on liberalized history to know the TRUTH, we have Abraham Lincoln’s own speeches to read on the subject. Which is exactly what I did.

Posted on February 14, 2012 at 12:07am@We, can you tell me exactly WHERE in the Constitution it forbids secession? Secession was a natural right of States understood by Americans until Lincoln trashed the Constitution laying the groundwork for the likes of TR, Wilson, FDR, Carter, and Obama. There’s a reason Obama loves Lincoln so much. Maybe you should, I dunno, question Lincoln with boldness? Do you also consider our Founders traitors to the Crown? Holy cow are you aware our country was FOUNDED by fighting a war of secession basically?????
@Rob, no I sure don’t, but I do have my Oathkeepers stickers on my front and back windshields. Unlike Lincoln did I take my oath to the Constitution seriously.

Posted on February 14, 2012 at 6:41amIt’s sad to see how many “conservatives” fall for the Yankee propaganda that the South somehow was a threat to liberty, and that Lincoln somehow “saved” the country from destruction. He was the source of the destruction that we see now. The rotten race relations where a result of the war he so zealously pursued, as well as the Federal tyranny we see today. He was the greatest tyrant this country ever saw, (with perhaps the exception of Obama, whose atrocities we have yet to see). Lincoln trampled on the Constitution. The only good thing to say about Lincoln was that had he survived, he may not have permitted the radicals to continue to rape the South after the war.
Report Post »Rob Adkerson
Posted on February 14, 2012 at 7:15am@All
That’s fine and a reasonable point to argue, but pretending the south weren’t traitors, and that we somehow did the wrong thing by attacking the south( remember, south seceded, south shot first ) and returning them(us for me) to the union is anti-American.
I have no problem with oathkeepers, but I’m always curious how you solve the dilemma that inevitably arises: “protect against all threats foreign and domestic” How do you guys protect against domestic threats?
Report Post »All American American
Posted on February 14, 2012 at 7:48am@We, you make the claim secession is unconstitutional but then tell me to “research” it? Bwahahahahaha! Sorry We, you need to present facts. Maybe you need to google the Hartford Convention of 1815 and see just how secession was viewed back in the early days of our country…in the North.
@Rob, secession is a perfect and peaceful way to deal with a government which is out of control. It truly saddens me that so many on here who consider themselves “conservative” or “constitutionalists” at the same time deify Lincoln. Again, you truly need to question Lincoln with boldness and maybe you’ll have an awakening. I did because I couldn‘t figure out why Obummer was so keen on mimicking Lincoln’s path to his inauguration. The CSA were most definitely NOT traitors. As to your claim about the first shot, maybe you can tell me why Lincoln ignored delegation after delegation from the CSA to work out a peaceful co-existence, and refused to heed the warnings not to resupply Ft Sumpter? Why didn’t Lincoln just recall the troops? Lincoln goaded the South into firing the first shot in much the same way FDR is accused of goading Japan to (and much like you’re trying to goad me into saying something about current domestic enemies).
Report Post »UnreconstructedLibertarian
Posted on February 15, 2012 at 1:17pmRob,
The oath isn’t to the country, its to uphold the Constitution against enemies “foreign and domestic”.
As is plainly evident in our own time, the government can be its own enemy by warring against the Constitution. So, I ask you: If the United States declared itself a communist republic – what would you do? Would you side with the “country” or the Constitution?
The Union was the traitorous faction against the Constitution, and the entire country has been racking up a terrible price since. The bill is now coming due. Karl Marx rejoiced till his dying day that the Union won, because it made all of his socialistic predictions possible.
Karl Marx to Abe, 1865: “The workingmen of Europe … consider it an earnest of the epoch to come that it fell to the lot of Abraham Lincoln, the single-minded son of the working class, to lead his country through the matchless struggle for the rescue of an enchained race and the reconstruction of a social world.”
Abe’s actions actually did lead to the “reconstruction of a social world”, as the european countries immediately went into their own civil wars of “Centralized Government” consolidation. Countries that today are the model of socialist failings, as we soon will follow.
Its a bitter pill to swallow, but our real history is being revealed by our present.
