‘If I Had to Trust One Person It Would be…Bachmann’: Beck Talks GOP Primary

Glenn Beck: Bachmann Is Exceptional & She Understands GodWhile Glenn Beck doesn’t endorse candidates, he does voice his take on the character and policies associated with presidential contenders.

This morning, Beck took to the airwaves to praise Michele Bachmann for her faith, values and spirit.

He offered intense praise for Bachmann, while reiterating the fact that he would continue to evaluate other Republican candidates in the race. “I know and like many of the candidates for the Republican nomination. I’ve never campaigned for anybody, nor will I,” he said. “I will never stop calling them as I see them, and I will never endorse a candidate.”

Beck continued:

“Last night, I made a decision on who I would vote for if I were voting for the candidate — and it is somebody that I think believes it to the core.

[Someone] I believe understands compassion. Somebody who understands God. Somebody who understands the situation that we’re in.

If I had to vote for someone in a primary…if I had to trust one person, it would be Michele Bachmann.”

Beck went on to say that Bachmann is “exceptional” and that she “truly comes the closest to embodying the spirit of Lincoln or Washington” in the current presidential field. He also characterized the Minnesota congresswoman as someone who “says what she means.”

Watch Beck’s heartfelt comments:

Also, listen to him interview her, below:

Thank you Glenn, I have been saying all along that she is the most trustworthy conservative candidate. That is the most important thing we need to find in a candidate.

I’ve been with Michelle for nearly the whole time. I was for Paul at first, until I learned of his stance on Iran and worse, now Israel. The only thing that I’ve found that I disagreed with was the 90 day extension of The Patriot Act, but to agree with everything someone says is mindless. I can overlook smaller things for the greater good. Along with my agreement on the important issues, Michelle seems the most honest and humble of all of the candidates. Obama will be the least so in the 2012 election.
By the way, don’t you love the way Democrats vote for such things as The Patriot Act (which was written by Joe Biden) and after they learn that it‘s unpopular they turn around crying that it’s unconstitutional and try to make it appear it was the Republicans’ idea. That seems to happen a lot. They love to take credit for things the Republicans did too. Does anyone really think that if Eisenhower didn’t try to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1957 (which Democrats blocked) that the Democrats would even have considered The Civil Rights Act of 1964? Or how they gave credit to Clinton for fixing the economy only after he caved in to the Republicans in Congress?
I don’t really care about either party, but it seems that Democrats are more often on the side of lies and corruption. At least the Tea Party tries to oust the bad guys from government, then the Democrats welcome those bad guys with open arms. Arlen Specter, Betsy Markey…

I trust Bachmann. I believe she is a stalwart for conservative ideals. I trust Paul for being a stalwart for the preservation and implementation of Our Constitution, the U.S. Constitution. I trust Herman Cain for preserving our Capitalistic ideals that have enriched all Americans, don’t get me started on what that means. Even in the ‘ghetto’, you can have an Escalade and wide screen TV, and air conditioning, and still have enough left over for clubbing at the local bar on Friday AND Saturday nights.Poor people ain‘t doing so well’ are they”? You see, in a socialist or Communist country, like Cuba, North Korea and old backwoods Russia,Tyrannical Iran, Despotic Venezuela and domineering China, the people that really hurt are the ones that believe that a government can deliver the simple freedoms that they think they deserve. Here in America, the Second Amendment preserves the First Amendment. period. Rock on Beck, you got it right, the first time. Israel will be. Regardless of the outcome of the coming elections in NOV 2012. America will stand strong and overcome. Hey Glenn, guess my dream team, if you dare, no cheating, k? Love ya, keep up the good work.

What is wrong with building our military here at home? And what is bad about going back to our Constitution? Bachman wants to cut Social Security and Medicare…Is that what you want? Beck makes more money than all of the Blazers combined..the only thing Bachman might be able to do is repeal Obamacare..She’s pretty heartless otherwise..As far as Cain goes? Who’s drinking the cool aid girlie..You think that Cain who ran the Federal Reserve and mocked the people wanting it audited, whose church was just like Obamas with the Jesse Jackson.Reverand Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakan connections. and his billking his employees out of their retirement and giving millions to his cronies. and siding with the 700 billion in TARP to Sharia Compliant Banks will make a good Pres..Oh and what about that 999 which will drive up the cost of goods exponentially down the line…You really think thats’ the ticket?Continue to bury your head in the sand with this war machine…yeah..I’m sure we can continue to borrow money from China..

Sen. Bachmann used to have, on her website, that she has fought for the largest increase in veterans benefits in American history. However, in reality, she has pushed for millions in cuts for veterans! I can’t seem to find it now. I LOVED Michelle! She had my vote all the way until I was crushed by a Liberal in a debate on this. This was an all out lie to me and I cannot abide with the knowledge that she is another politician that will lie to look good. And THE LAST thing our government should EVER do is cut veterans from ANYTHING!!! Congress should have every dollar and office perk stripped away forever, long before veterans have to do without anything!

If she had told the lady she would check into the side effects of the vaccine and get back to her, she just ran with it like it was a fact. Who ever it is has to be able to debate Obama, take him on in the economy, have the political backing needed, and be the most presidential. There are only two candidates that I see like this and the debates will either expand that or narrow the field.

Other than that she’s anti-liberty in just about every way. You and your family don’t take special government handouts and remain a small government person. Ron has returned any extra budget to the government coffers, and he gives back a portion of his pay and doesn’t participate in the absurd pension plan. Besides if you read GW‘s farewell address not to mention Jefferson you’d know that Ron Paul is saying the exact same things as the founders on money, banks, small government and most especially foreign policy.

I can’t fathom the mental gymnastics that Glenn has to go through to avoid the truth. Our CIA agents have been saying the same thing about our foreign policy that Ron has been saying. Wake up people, he doesn’t blame America he blames the idiots in Washington that get us into these messes. And NO MR. I agree with Beck 90% of the time. The other 10% I am frustrated with the fact that he really hasn’t got to the bottom of the rabbit hole. He endorses Neo-cons. The patriot act should be repealed immediately.
She signed the bill to extend it. It is 100% unconstitutional !!!
I am irritated that beck does not address, or is oblivious to the fact that our Constitutional representative republic is gone.
It has been since 1933 when the progressives purposely bankrupted us.
In 1913, the Federal Reserve act was passed.
In 1933 America was declared bankrupt and to turn to the Federal Reserve for a loan
FDR and the congress pledged America’s citizens as collateral for that loan.
Birth certificates and Social Security became law in all states, soon thereafter.
This was a bond with the receivers of the bankruptcy, to promise a % of the pledged’s lifetime earnings, estimated to be around 1 million.
We have been bankrupt ever since.
The Secretary of the Treasury is a manager of the bankruptcy.
The federal reserve ( A private bank owned by the global elite ) gives loan “packages” to the secretary of the treasury to present and propose to our congress and the President. The receivers of the bankruptcy operate a de facto government under emergency powers.
They are putting on a show, still portraying the image that they are a representative republic.
All your tax money goes to old debts, while our gov’t operates on more loans.

This 400 billion dollar “jobs” bill was a loan package that was conceived at the federal reserve.
All of your tax money goes to the receivers of the bankruptcy via IRS > IMF, ran by the UN.
America has a International UCC lien on it. It is insolvent, operating only on the loans given by the Federal reserve.
Your birth certificate is a securities bond that is traded on the Stock market.
The only way to get out of this enslavement is to default on Our UCC lien and print our OWN money.
JFK signed executive order #11110, giving the United States Treasury ( Our governmental Agency ) the authority to print it’s OWN currency again based on a Silver standard.
This would devalue the currency of the federal reserve note ( A worthless piece of paper based on thin-air, Printed by a PRIVATE bank with NO oversight )
JFK was bumped 5 months later.
Lincoln stated that he feared the Global central bankers more than a Nation army.
      He was soon thereafter, assassinated.

Cain was the head of the K.C. Federal Reserve and was appointed to the position of CEO of Godfathers pizza. he never built a company from the ground up.
Bachmann is also a Global Elite Minion. A RINO progressive like 95 % of all D.C. politicians.

It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has
been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1,
Public Law 89-719; declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and
      insolvent. H.J.R. 192, 73rd Congress m session June 5, 1933 – Joint
Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause
dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official
capacities of all United States Governmental Offices, Officers, and
Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal
Government exists today in name only.

The receivers of the United States Bankruptcy are the International
Bankers, via the United Nations, the World Bank and the International
Monetary Fund. All United States Offices, Officials, and Departments are now
operating within a de facto status in name only under Emergency War Powers.
With the Constitutional Republican form of Government now dissolved, the
receivers of the Bankruptcy have adopted a new form of government for the
United States. This new form of government is known as a Democracy, being an
established Socialist/Communist order under a new governor for America.

Really… Washington didnt want to be president and she is in the same spirit? If you are in the same spirit you say what you are going to do while in office, warn about the past policies of those running against you and leave it at that. If the people like your ideas you will get elected, but either way it does not matter. You were honest with yourself and the people, then you leave to the hands of God and the will of the masses. Um that’s not Bachman, she is attacking not warning about her competitors, she has handlers telling her what to say and how to say it. As new ideas become popular she changes her positions to reflect what others believe. She “wants” to be president and she is some deception to get there. So she wants it so bad that she cant just trust in God and his ways, nope she has to use the ways of sin and not be truthful all the time. When someone is asked a question and does not give a straight simple answer they are using deception… I have wanted Santorum to be president since 02 when I was 20, I haven’t told one person to support him yet because he to uses deception, when someone can not be truthful and stand on what they believe no matter what harm it may cause them I have no use for them in public office. If all our side has to offer is fakes I would rather have the other sides fake stay in office and maybe in 4years someone honest will run and they can turn this country around. War is an ugly thing – it must be made even more so to the in country sympathizers. Have we learned nothing in Korea, Viet Nam – you have to have all out war or none at all. So lets apply the Paul Foreign policy doctrine… oh wait – we did that already – that is how the entire Navy was virtually wiped out at Pearl Harbor.. Isolationism works only if the rest of the world abides by the same rule – History tells us the rest of the world does not

Hint – you do not put all of your assets in one place, you put your assets in a place where they act as a deterrant and are able to be most quickly deployed where the enemy is and not allow it to come to our shores and land

I have listened to Dr. Paul – not the edited, opined versions of his words – he is wrong on Foreign Policy and I don’t want that to become dead wrong. He is wrong about Iran, he is wrong about Israel, he is wrong about those who are our enemies and why they are our enemies.

I dont understand Glenn’s anti Paul stance.
It seems personal. Glenn has proposed many
times pulling all our troops home. Glenn hates
the federal reserve. Glenn is not republican.
I would think Paul would be his ideal candidate.
Would George Washington ever water board?

How is it not an endorsement when you
say I would vote for her. The only one I
trust? But don’t take that as an endorsement.
In his interview with Michelle yesterday he asked
her do you think were going to have a civil war?
What!? Global economic collapse I can see but do
we need to go to war with each other?

      @Kay

I am well aware of what the federal government is supposed to do as outlined in the Constitution, however when looking at REALITY we see the nasty nasty mess we are already in. Sorry but just by wishing things were different wont make it happen. The point still remains, we are broke, even with the funds available our corruptocrats can’t do anything right with it. To many on the dole, to much graft, the entitlements are crushing us but half the country still likes the Bamster :(

You should worry less about Iran, and more about those in your community/town/city that would rob and kill you for a meal. Not all Americans are patriotic, USA-lovin folk; many are selfish, could care less about anything other than themselves…

I’m tired of this Patriot Act nonsense. You are a flat out idiot. And anyone that listens to you is also an idiot. It is people like you that almost justify eliminating the freedom of speech in America. When you speak the entire world becomes incrementally dumber.

Ron Paul is the only person with a real plan on how to restore America to sound money, Constitutional foreign policy, and true limited government. No one in the political arena can touch his knowledge or wisdom. They can try to pass themselves off as true conservatives, but look at their records.
He knows how we got to where we are today and was offering solutions way before this election cycle or the last one. I posted this on another thread, but I will re-post it here because it applies. Glenn says Washington an inspiration to him. If that is true, Glenn, explain what Washington meant in paragraphs 31 and 32 of his farewell address. Washington was outlining how we should interact with other nations.

      Republicorp,

      1. Ron Paul has steadfastly steadfastly upheld the Constitution. He is the only one who has and you know very well that Bachmann and all the others have not voted along constitutional lines. Their records prove it. Gee willikers…..Ron Paul keeps his word when he takes an oath. Imagine that.

      2. Ron Paul has educated Americans about Liberty

      3. Ron Paul has delivered thousands of babies instead of aborting them. And he has served in the military. That qualifies him to speak intelligently about healthcare and militarism/defense.

Ron Paul is a fool. A fool that is seeking nothing but the praise and applause of a bunch of drugged up freaks too lazy to even join the jackasses urinating in our municipal parks all across America. Anyone that honestly supports that idiot from Texas should be too ashamed to be out in public among civilized people. The only reason you all comment on here is because you don’t want your neighbors and friends to sit on your front awn laughing at your stupidity.

Bachmann doesn’t come close to Washington

    She is a war monger.

You can really see who Jesus’ people are by their fruits. The fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, self control… but this sect that believes that standing with the country of Israel is of utmost importance has thrown those things out the window. They believe the end justifies the means.
Hating- is fine as long as you stand with Israel.
War- is fine as long as you stand with Israel
    Deception-””
Wishing ill -fine if you stand with Israel
Killing your enemies – as long as you say it is for Israel.
Out of control spending- As long as you stand with Israel
remember when the Pharisees were like- “Our father is Moses and Abraham” and Jesus was like “Your father is the Devil” I think we would be wise to heed those words and realize the seed of Abraham was not a DNA seed as much as the seed of righteousness through faith.

Glenn asked her some hard questions and he liked her answers. He came away with a greater respect for her and so did I. He does not agree with her on every position and has said so. If she messes up, he will move away from her as fast as he moved toward her. I don’t think she will be the nominee because I believe the republicans are convinced that Mitt is the one to defeat Obama. I would like to see her in some position because she has been fighting Obamacare and raising the debt ceiling trying to get spending cuts. The first thing we have to do is get good honest people in Congress. We surprised the Obamaites in 2010 and we can do it again and we must.

Representative Bachmann is violating her oath of office by ignoring Article 2, Section 1, as are other candidates currently serving in elected public office who are sworn to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; … .”[1]

      Glenn Beck doesn’t care.[2]

Sheriff Arpaio is closing in. Obama’s birth certificate contains many anomalies justifying further investigation by law enforcement, as does his social security number. Both are alleged to be fraudulent by numerous experts.

However even if the alleged fraud had gone unnoticed and it’s assumed he was born in HI, Obama is still not Constitutionally eligible.

Article 2, Section 1, requires the President to be a natural born citizen. This involves two equally important prerequisites. The first is being born in the USA or sovereign US jurisdiction. The second is being born to US citizen parents (plural). Both prerequisites must be satisfied. Obama absolutely failed to meet one prerequisite at birth and maybe both. He does not have TWO US citizen parents! Therefore he is not eligible.

You are mistaken, sir. Under the laws of our great nation anyone who is born here enjoys the status of a natural born citizen and may one day run for the office of President. There was some dispute over this issue in the first century after the passage of our Constitution, but the Supreme Court finally examined the issue in 1898. They found that this was the policy under the laws of England at the time of our founding, with which the founding fathers would surely have been familiar. Since our founders nowhere in the Constitution or anywhere else wrote any article or statute changing this standard, they concluded that it remained in effect under the Constitution and up to the present day.

Your reprobate Alinsky lies and belabored libel have been factually refuted in a previous thread.

To those fortunately unfamiliar with your inane miscreant madness wishing to avail themselves of proof of your habitual misleading fraud, you’ll find it here but beware, tempus fugit. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/love-lost-obamas-personal-assistant-reggie-love-quitting/?corder=asc#commentsAlinsky

Alternatively, I humbly suggest that directly familiarizing one’s self with facts most feared by progressive socialist democrats and then, given Glenn Beck’s self avowed allegiance to the Constitution, politely asking him to report the truth to his audience would be a much better use of your valuable time.[1]

Of what lies do you speak? I am quite sincere in my belief that the facts in this matter are clear, and clearly on my side. If there are any facts in the article to which you link that would support your contention, I am unable to discern them. I found much that was irrelevant and even more that was incoherent, but was unable to discern anything that a reasonable person might regard as germane.

You appear to be the same person as Teapartyconservatism, obamabirthcertificate.net, and BeckIgnoresConstitution. Do you suffer from some schisming of the personality? If so I perceive that your condition is worsening, as this is the third persona to emerge in less than a week. If you are attempting to actually pass yourself of as more than one person to create an illusion that others share your beliefs, you undermine this effort by continuing to write the exact same words in the same order.
